AKJV And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
AKJV Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread; BSB BSB: “Take Aaron and his sons, their garments, the anointing oil, the bull of the sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread,
AKJV And gather you all the congregation together to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. BSB BSB: and assemble the whole congregation at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.”
AKJV And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. BSB BSB: So Moses did as the LORD had commanded him, and the assembly gathered at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
AKJV And Moses said to the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done. BSB BSB: And Moses said to them, “This is what the LORD has commanded to be done.”
AKJV And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water. BSB BSB: Then Moses presented Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.
AKJV And he put on him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it to him therewith. BSB BSB: He put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him. He tied the woven band of the ephod around him and fastened it to him.
AKJV And he put the breastplate on him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim. BSB BSB: Then he put the breastpiece on him and placed the Urim and Thummim in the breastpiece.
AKJV And he put the turban on his head; also on the turban, even on his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses. BSB BSB: Moses also put the turban on Aaron’s head and set the gold plate, the holy diadem, on the front of the turban, as the LORD had commanded him.
AKJV And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them. BSB BSB: Next, Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it; and so he consecrated them.
AKJV And he sprinkled thereof on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them. The Priests’ Sin Offering 14 AKJV And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bullock for the sin offering. BSB BSB: Moses then brought the bull near for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
AKJV And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation on it. BSB BSB: Moses slaughtered the bull, took some of the blood, and applied it with his finger to all four horns of the altar, purifying the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it so that atonement could be made on it.
AKJV And he took all the fat that was on the inwards, and the lobe above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it on the altar. BSB BSB: Moses also took all the fat that was on the entrails, the lobe of the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and burned it all on the altar.
AKJV But the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses. BSB BSB: But the bull with its hide, flesh, and dung he burned outside the camp, as the LORD had commanded him.
The Priests’ Burnt Offering 18 AKJV And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. BSB BSB: Then Moses presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.

AKJV And he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram on the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet smell, and an offering made by fire to the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses. BSB BSB: He washed the entrails and legs with water and burned the entire ram on the altar as a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
The Ram of Ordination (Exodus 29:10–30)
AKJV And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. BSB BSB: After that, Moses presented the other ram, the ram of ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.

AKJV And he took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that was on the inwards, and the lobe above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder: BSB BSB: And Moses took the fat—the fat tail, all the fat that was on the entrails, the lobe of the liver, and both kidneys with their fat—as well as the right thigh.
AKJV And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and on the right shoulder: BSB BSB: And from the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD, he took one cake of unleavened bread, one cake of bread made with oil, and one wafer, and he placed them on the fat portions and on the right thigh.
AKJV And he put all on Aaron’s hands, and on his sons’ hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD. BSB BSB: He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and waved them before the LORD as a wave offering.
AKJV And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar on the burnt offering: they were consecrations for a sweet smell: it is an offering made by fire to the LORD. BSB BSB: Then Moses took these from their hands and burned them on the altar with the burnt offering. This was an ordination offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.
AKJV And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD: for of the ram of consecration it was Moses’ part; as the LORD commanded Moses. BSB BSB: He also took the breast—Moses’ portion of the ram of ordination—and waved it before the LORD as a wave offering, as the LORD had commanded him.
AKJV And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons’ garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him. BSB BSB: Next, Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments, and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments, as well as Aaron’s sons and their garments.
AKJV And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it. BSB BSB: And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of ordination offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons are to eat it.’
AKJV And that which remains of the flesh and of the bread shall you burn with fire. BSB BSB: Then you must burn up the remainder of the meat and bread.
AKJV And you shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you. BSB BSB: You must not go outside the entrance to the Tent of Meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are complete; for it will take seven days to ordain you.
AKJV As he has done this day, so the LORD has commanded to do, to make an atonement for you. BSB BSB: What has been done today has been commanded by the LORD in order to make atonement on your behalf.
AKJV Therefore shall you abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that you die not: for so I am commanded. BSB BSB: You must remain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting day and night for seven days and keep the LORD’s charge so that you will not die, for this is what I have been commanded.”
AKJV So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses. BSB BSB: So Aaron and his sons did everything the LORD had commanded through Moses.
