A question worth asking
Doesn’t archaeology contradict the Bible?
Archaeology has confirmed many people, places and events in the Bible, from kings of Israel and Judah to Pontius Pilate. Some periods, such as the exodus and the conquest of Canaan, are still debated because the evidence is thin or hard to read. Archaeology can support the Bible’s history; it can’t prove its spiritual claims.
