Opened

Terms

In plain words: what you can expect from Opened, and what we ask of you.

Draft for development. The legal terms of service will replace this before public launch.

Using Opened

  • Opened is a personal Bible study companion, an initiative of The Kingdom Tribe (TKT). You need to be 16 or older to use it.
  • Sign in with your email address. Keep access to that inbox: it's how you sign in.

Your content

  • Your notes, highlights, bookmarks and answers to onboarding questions are yours. We store them to provide the service, encrypted where the privacy notice says so, and never sell them.
  • You can download or delete everything at any time in Me.

Scripture and sources

  • Bible texts and study data come from public-domain and openly licensed sources, listed with their licences on the Sources page. Their terms apply to that material.
  • Book introductions and other study notes are summaries to help you study. Where Christians hold different views, we say so. Read them alongside Scripture, not instead of it.

AI features

  • Some features use AI. AI can be wrong. Answers show Scripture first and cite their sources so you can check them.
  • Opened isn't a pastor, counsellor, doctor or lawyer, and doesn't give professional advice. If you're in crisis, contact local emergency services or someone you trust.

Acceptable use

  • Don't misuse Opened: no attempts to access other people's data, overload the service, scrape it in bulk, or use it to harm others.

Changes and availability

  • We may change or pause features. We'll tell you about significant changes to these terms before they take effect.
  • You can stop using Opened and delete your account at any time.
