3 AKJV And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far. BSB BSB: If I send them home hungry, they will faint along the way. For some of them have come a great distance.”
4 AKJV And his disciples answered him, From where can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? BSB BSB: His disciples replied, “Where in this desolate place could anyone find enough bread to feed all these people?”
5 AKJV And he asked them, How many loaves have you? And they said, Seven. BSB BSB: “How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Seven,” they replied.
6 AKJV And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and broke, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people. BSB BSB: And He instructed the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then He took the seven loaves, gave thanks and broke them, and gave them to His disciples to set before the people. And they distributed them to the crowd.
7 AKJV And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. BSB BSB: They also had a few small fish, and Jesus blessed them and ordered that these be set before them as well.

12 AKJV And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and says, Why does this generation seek after a sign? truly I say to you, There shall no sign be given to this generation. BSB BSB: Jesus sighed deeply in His spirit and said, “Why does this generation demand a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation.”

16 AKJV And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread. BSB BSB: So they began to discuss with one another the fact that they had no bread.
17 AKJV And when Jesus knew it, he says to them, Why reason you, because you have no bread? perceive you not yet, neither understand? have you your heart yet hardened? BSB BSB: Aware of their conversation, Jesus asked them, “Why are you debating about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Do you have such hard hearts?
18 AKJV Having eyes, see you not? and having ears, hear you not? and do you not remember? BSB BSB: ‘Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear?’ And do you not remember?

24 AKJV And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. BSB BSB: The man looked up and said, “I can see the people, but they look like trees walking around.”
25 AKJV After that he put his hands again on his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. BSB BSB: Once again Jesus placed His hands on the man’s eyes, and when he opened them his sight was restored, and he could see everything clearly.

38 AKJV Whoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. BSB BSB: If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in His Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
