Sing to the LORD, All the Earth (1 Chronicles 16:23–36)
1 AKJV O sing to the LORD a new song: sing to the LORD, all the earth. BSB BSB: Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.
2 AKJV Sing to the LORD, bless his name; show forth his salvation from day to day. BSB BSB: Sing to the LORD, bless His name; proclaim His salvation day after day.
3 AKJV Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. BSB BSB: Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.
4 AKJV For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. BSB BSB: For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.
5 AKJV For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. BSB BSB: For all the gods of the nations are idols, but it is the LORD who made the heavens.
6 AKJV Honor and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. BSB BSB: Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty fill His sanctuary.
7 AKJV Give to the LORD, O you kindreds of the people, give to the LORD glory and strength. BSB BSB: Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
8 AKJV Give to the LORD the glory due to his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. BSB BSB: Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering and enter His courts.
9 AKJV O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. BSB BSB: Worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth.
10 AKJV Say among the heathen that the LORD reigns: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. BSB BSB: Declare among the nations: “The LORD reigns!” The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved; He will judge the peoples with equity.
11 AKJV Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof. BSB BSB: Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea resound, and all that fills it.
12 AKJV Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice BSB BSB: Let the fields exult, and all that is in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy
13 AKJV Before the LORD: for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth. BSB BSB: before the LORD, for He is coming—He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His faithfulness.
