1. 1ULBስለዚህ ከሁሉ በፊት፣ ጸሎት፣ ምልጃና ምሥጋና ስለ ሰዎቸ ሁሉ እንዲደረግ እመክራለሁ፤ እግዚአብሔርን በመፍራትና በማክበር፣BSBBSB: First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be offered for everyone—
2. 2ULBበጸጥታ ሕይወት ሰላማዊ ኑሮ እንድንኖር፣ ለነገሥታትና በሥልጣን ላይ ላሉ ሁሉ ጸልዩ፡፡BSBBSB: for kings and all those in authority—so that we may lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity.
3. 3ULBይህም በአዳኛችን በእግዚአብሔር ፊት መልካምና ተቀባይነት ያለው ነገር ነው፡፡BSBBSB: This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
4. 4ULBእርሱ ሰዎች ሁሉ እንዲድኑና እውነትን ሁሉ ወደ ማውቅ እንዲደርሱ ይፈልጋልና፡፡BSBBSB: who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
5. 5ULBአንድ እግዚአብሔር አለና፣ እንዲሁም በሰዎችና በእግዚአብሔር መካከል፣ ሰው የሆነ ክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ አንድ መካከለኛ አለ፤BSBBSB: For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
6. 6ULBእርሱም ለሁሉ ራሱን ቤዛ አድርጎ የሰጠ፣ በትክክለኛው ጊዜ የተገለጠ ምስክር ነው፡፡BSBBSB: who gave Himself as a ransom for all—the testimony that was given at just the right time.
7. 7ULBለዚህም ዓላማ እኔ ራሴ፣ አወጅ ነጋሪና ሐዋርያ ሆኜአለሁ፡፡ እውነትን እናገራለሁ አልዋሽም፤ እኔ ለአሕዛብ የእምነትና የእውነት አስተማሪ ነኝ፡፡BSBBSB: For this reason I was appointed as a preacher, an apostle, and a faithful and true teacher of the Gentiles. I am telling the truth; I am not lying about anything.
8. 8ULBስለዚህ፣ ወንዶች ሁሉ በየሥፍራው ያለ ጥርጥርና ያለ ቁጣ የተቀደሱ እጆቻቸውን እያነሱ እንዲጸልዩ እፈልጋለሁ፡፡BSBBSB: Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger or dissension.
9. 9ULBእንደዚሁም፣ ሴቶች አግባብ ያለው አለባበስ ይኑራቸው፣ ራሳቸውን በመግዛት ረጋ እንዲሉ እንጂ ጸጉራቸውን በወርቅ ወይም በዕንቁ በመሥራት ወይም ውድ የሆኑ ልብሶችን በመልበስ ሊያጌጡ አይገባም፡፡BSBBSB: Likewise, I want the women to adorn themselves with respectable apparel, with modesty, and with self-control, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,
10. 10ULBነገር ግን እግዚአብሔርን ለሚፈሩ ሴቶች አግባብ እንደሆነው፣ በመልካም ሥራ ተውበው ይታዩ፡፡BSBBSB: but with good deeds, as is proper for women who profess to worship God.
11. 11ULBሴት በጸጥታና በመታዘዝ ትማር፡፡BSBBSB: A woman must learn in quietness and full submissiveness.
12. 12ULBሴት በጸጥታ እንድትኖር እንጂ፣ እንድታስተምርና በወንድ ላይ ሥልጣን እንዲኖራት አልፈቅድም፡፡BSBBSB: I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; she is to remain quiet.
13. 13ULBአስቀድሞ አዳም ተፈጥሮአልና፣ ከዚያም ሔዋን፡፡BSBBSB: For Adam was formed first, and then Eve.
14. 14ULBአዳም አልተታለለም፣ ነገር ግን ሴቲቱ ሙሉ ለሙሉ በመተላለፍ ተታልላለች፡፡BSBBSB: And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman who was deceived and fell into transgression.
15. 15ULBሆኖም፣ በእምነትና በፍቅር፣ በቅድስናም በመልካም አዕምሮ ጸንታ ብትኖር፣ ልጆችን በመውለድ ትድናለች፡፡BSBBSB: Women, however, will be saved through childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.
