1 ULB የእግዚአብሔርም ቃል ወደ እኔ እንዲህ ሲል መጣ፥ BSB BSB: Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 ULB "አንተ የሰው ልጅ ሆይ እንግዲህ፥ ስለ ጢሮስ ሙሾ ጀምር ጢሮስንም እንዲ በላት BSB BSB: “Now you, son of man, take up a lament for Tyre.
3 ULB 'አንቺ በባሕር መግቢያ የምትኖሪ በብዙም ደሴቶች ላይ ከሚኖሩ ህዝቦች ጋር ንግድን የምታደርጊ ጌታ እግዚአብሔር እንዲህ ይላል፦ ጢሮስ ሆይ፥ አንቺ። 'በውበት ፍጹም ነኝ ብለሻል! BSB BSB: Tell Tyre, who dwells at the gateway to the sea, merchant of the peoples on many coasts, that this is what the Lord GOD says: You have said, O Tyre, ‘I am perfect in beauty.’
4 ULB ዳርቻሽ በባሕር ውስጥ ነው የሰሩሽ ፍጹም ውብ አድርገውታል። BSB BSB: Your borders are in the heart of the seas; your builders perfected your beauty.
5 ULB ሳንቃዎችሽን ሁሉ ከሳኔር ጥድ ሠርተዋል፥ ደቀልንም ሊሰሩልሽ ከሊባኖስ ዝግባ ወስደዋል። BSB BSB: They constructed all your planking with cypress from Senir. They took a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.
6 ULB ከባሳን ዛፍ መቅዘፊያሽን ሠርተዋል፥ በዝሆን ጥርስ ከታሸበ ከኪቲም ደሴቶች ዛፍ የመርከብ ወለሎችሽን ሠርተዋል። BSB BSB: Of oaks from Bashan they made your oars; of wood from the coasts of Cyprus they made your deck, inlaid with ivory.
7 ULB የመርከብሽ ሸራ ልክ እንደ ሰንደቅ ዓላማሽ የግብጽ ባለብዙ ቀለማት በፍታ ጨርቆች ነበሩ። BSB BSB: Of embroidered fine linen from Egypt they made your sail, which served as your banner. Of blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah they made your awning.
8 ULB የሲዶናና የአራድ ሰዎች ቀዛፎችሽ ነበሩ፤ የጢሮስ ጥበበኞችሽ በአንቺ ዘንድ ነበሩ የመርከቦችሽም መሪዎች ነበሩ። BSB BSB: The men of Sidon and Arvad were your oarsmen. Your men of skill, O Tyre, were there as your captains.
9 ULB ልምድ ያላቸው ጥበበኞች መጋጠሚያዎችሽን ሞልተዋል። የባሕር መርከቦች ሁሉና መርከበኞቻቸው የንግድ እቃዎችሽን ለንግድ ያጓጉዙልሻል። BSB BSB: The elders of Gebal were aboard as shipwrights, repairing your leaks. All the ships of the sea and their sailors came alongside to barter for your merchandise.
10 ULB ፋርስና ሉድ ፉጥም በሠራዊትሽ ውስጥ ነበሩ፥ ጋሻና ራስ ቍርም በአንቺ ውስጥ ያንጠለጥሉ ነበር፥ እነርሱም ውበትሽን አሳዩ። BSB BSB: Men of Persia, Lydia, and Put served as warriors in your army. They hung their shields and helmets on your walls; they gave you splendor.
11 ULB በሠራዊትሽ ውስጥ የነበሩት የአራድ እና የኤሌክ ሰዎች በቅጥሮችሽ በዙሪያ ነበሩ፥ ገማዳውያንም በግንቦችሽ ውስጥ ነበሩ! ጋሻቸውንም ዙሪያውን በቅጥርሽ ላይ አንጠለጠሉ! ውበትሽንም ፍጹም አደረጉት! BSB BSB: Men of Arvad and Helech manned your walls all around, and the men of Gammad were in your towers. They hung their shields around your walls; they perfected your beauty.
12 ULB በብዙ ዓይነት ማለትም በብር፥ በብረት፥ በቈርቈሮና በእርሳስ ካለሽ ብልጥግና ብዛት የተነሣ ተርሴስ የንግድ ደንብኛሽ ነበረች። ሸቀጥሽን ይገዙና ይሸጡ ነበር። BSB BSB: Tarshish was your merchant because of your great wealth of goods; they exchanged silver, iron, tin, and lead for your wares.
13 ULB ያዋንና ቶቤል ሞሳሕም ባሮችንና ከናስ የተሰሩ እቃዎችን ይነግዱ ነበር። ንግድሽን የሚመሩት እነርሱ ነበሩ። BSB BSB: Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your merchants. They exchanged slaves and bronze utensils for your merchandise.
14 ULB ከቤተ ቴርጋማም መጋዣዎችን፥ የጦር ፈረሶችንና በበቅሎዎችን ወደ ንግድሽ አመጡ። BSB BSB: The men of Beth-togarmah exchanged horses, war horses, and mules for your wares.
15 ULB የድዳን ሰዎች በብዙ ዳርቻዎችሽ የንግድ አጋሮችሽ ነበሩ። ንግድ በእጅሽ ነበረ፤ በሸቀጥሽ ምላሽ የዝሆን ጥርስና ዞጲ ይልኩልሽ ነበር። BSB BSB: The men of Dedan were your clients; many coastlands were your market; they paid you with ivory tusks and ebony.
16 ULB ሶርያ የብዙ ምርቶችሽ ተጠቃሚ ነበረች። በልዋጩም የከበረ ድንጋይ፥ የወይን ጠጅ፥ ባለ ብዙ ቀለም ልብሶች፥ ያማሩ ጨርቆች፥ በዛጎል እና ቀይ ዕንቍም ያቀርቡ ነበር። BSB BSB: Aram was your customer because of your many products; they exchanged turquoise, purple, embroidered work, fine linen, coral, and rubies for your wares.
17 ULB ይሁዳና የእስራኤል ምድር የንግድ አጋሮችሽ ነበሩ። የሚኒትን ስንዴ ጣፋጭም እንጐቻ፥ ማር ዘይትም በለሳንም ያቀርቡ ነበር። BSB BSB: Judah and the land of Israel traded with you; they exchanged wheat from Minnith, cakes and honey, oil and balm for your merchandise.
18 ULB ደማስቆ የምርትሽ ሁሉ፥ ተዝቆ የማያልቅ ሀብትሽ እንዲሁም የኬልቦን የወይን ጠጅና የዘሀርን የበግ ጠጕር ይነግዱ ነበር። BSB BSB: Because of your many products and your great wealth of goods, Damascus traded with you wine from Helbon, wool from Zahar,
19 ULB ዌንዳንና ያዋን ከአንቺ ጋር ይነግዱ ነበር። ቀልጦ የተሠራ ብረት፥ ብርጕድና ቀረፋም ያቀርቡ ነበረ። ይህም ላንቺ ንግድ ሆነልሽ BSB BSB: and casks of wine from Izal for your wares. Wrought iron, cassia, and sweet cane were exchanged for your merchandise.
20 ULB ድዳን የግላስ ንግድ ከአንቺ ጋር ነበራት። BSB BSB: Dedan was your merchant in saddlecloths for riding.
21 ULB ዓረብና ሌሎች የቄዳር አለቆች ሁሉ የንግድ አጋሮችሽ ነበሩ፤ ጠቦቶች፥ አውራ በጎችና ፍየሎችን ለንግድ ያቀርቡልሽ ነበር። BSB BSB: Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your customers, trading in lambs, rams, and goats.
22 ULB የሳባና የራዕማ ነጋዴዎች ምርጥ የሆነ የቅመም ሽቱ ሁሉና ብዙ ዓይነት የከበሩ ድንጋዮች ሊሸጡልሽ ይመጡ ነበር። ወርቅም ይነግዱ ነበር። BSB BSB: The merchants of Sheba and Raamah traded with you; for your wares they exchanged gold, the finest of all spices, and precious stones.
23 ULB ካራንና ካኔ ዔድንም ከሳባ፥ ከአሦርና ከኪልማድ በመሆን የንግድ አጋሮችሽ ነበሩ። BSB BSB: Haran, Canneh, and Eden traded with you, and so did the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad.
24 ULB እነዚህ ባማረ ልብስ በሰማያዊ ካባ በወርቀ ዘቦም፥ በዝግባ በተሠራች በገመድም በታሰረች በግምጃም በተሞላች ሳጥን ይነግዱ የነበሩ ናቸው። BSB BSB: In your marketplace they traded with you fine garments of blue, embroidered work, and multicolored rugs with cords tightly twisted and knotted.
25 ULB የተርሴስ መርከቦች የሸቀጥሽ ማጓጓዣዎች ነበሩ። አንቺም በባህር መካከል ተሞልተሽ በጭነትም ከብደሽ ነበር። BSB BSB: The ships of Tarshish carried your merchandise. And you were filled with heavy cargo in the heart of the sea.
26 ULB ቀዛፊዎችሽ ወደ ስፊ ባህሮች አመጡሽ፤ የምሥራቅ ነፋስም በባህሮቹ መካከል ሰበረሽ። BSB BSB: Your oarsmen have brought you onto the high seas, but the east wind will shatter you in the heart of the sea.
27 ULB በውድቀትሽ ቀን ብልጥግናሽ፥ ሸቀጥሽና የንግድ ዕቃዎችሽ፤ የመርከብ ነጂዎችሽ፥ መርከበኞችሽም መርከብ ሠሪዎችሽ፤ ነጋዴዎችሽ ሁሉ በአንቺም ውስጥ የነበሩ ሰዎች ሁሉ በውስጥሽ ካሉት ሠራተኞች ጋር ወደ ባሕር ጥልቅ ይወድቃሉ። BSB BSB: Your wealth, wares, and merchandise, your sailors, captains, and shipwrights, your merchants and all the warriors within you, with all the other people on board, will sink into the heart of the sea on the day of your downfall.
28 ULB ከመርከብ መሪዎች ጩኸት ድምፅ የተነሣ በባህር አጠገብ ያሉ ከተሞች ይንቀጠቀጣሉ። BSB BSB: The countryside will shake when your sailors cry out.
29 ULB ቀዛፊዎችም ሁሉ መርከበኞችም መርከብ መሪዎችም ሁሉ ከመርከቦቻቸው ወርደው በመሬት ላይ ይቆማሉ። BSB BSB: All who handle the oars will abandon their ships. The sailors and all the captains of the sea will stand on the shore.
30 ULB ከዚያም ድምፃቸውን እንድትሰሚ ያደርጉሻል ምርር ብለውም ይጮኻሉ፥፤ በራሳቸውም ላይ ትቢያ ይነሰንሳሉ፥ በአመድም ውስጥ ይንከባለላሉ BSB BSB: They will raise their voices for you and cry out bitterly. They will throw dust on their heads and roll in ashes.
31 ULB ስለ አንቺም የራሳቸውን ጠጕር ይላጫሉ ማቅም ይታጠቃሉ በምሬትም ስለአንቺ ያነባሉ ይጮኸሉ። BSB BSB: They will shave their heads for you and wrap themselves in sackcloth. They will weep over you with anguish of soul and bitter mourning.
32 ULB በትካዜያቸውም ልቅሶ ያነሡልሻል፥ ስለ አንቺም ሙሾ ያሞሻሉ እንዲህም ይላሉ። በባሕር መካከል ጠፍቶ እንደ ቀረ እንደ ጢሮስ ያለ ማን ነው? BSB BSB: As they wail and mourn over you, they will take up a lament for you: ‘Who was ever like Tyre, silenced in the middle of the sea?
33 ULB ሸቀጥሽ ከባሕር በወጣ ጊዜ ብዙ አሕዛብን ያጠግብ ነበር በብልጥግናሽና በንግድሽ ብዛት የምድርን ነገሥታት ባለ ጠጎች አድርገሻል። BSB BSB: When your wares went out to sea, you satisfied many nations. You enriched the kings of the earth with your abundant wealth and merchandise.
34 ULB ነገር ግን በጥልቅ ውኃ ውስጥ በባህር በተሸፈንሽ ጊዜ ንግድሽና ሠራተኞችሽ ሁሉ ሰጠሙ! BSB BSB: Now you are shattered by the seas in the depths of the waters; your merchandise and the people among you have gone down with you.
35 ULB በባህር ዳርቻ የሚኖሩ ሁሉ ተደንቀውብሻል፥ ነገሥታቶቻቸውም በፍርሀት ተንቀጥቅጠዋል። ፊታቸውም ደንግጧል። BSB BSB: All the people of the coastlands are appalled over you. Their kings shudder with fear; their faces are contorted.
36 ULB የአሕዛብ ነጋዴዎች አፍዋጩብሽ፤ ለድንጋጤ ሆነሻል፥ ከእንግዲህ በኋላም አትኖሪም። BSB BSB: Those who trade among the nations hiss at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.’”
