1. 1ULBበመቀጠልም ኢዮብ መለሰ እንዲህም አለ፦BSBBSB: Then Job answered:
2. 2ULBበእርግጥ እናንተ አዋቂ ሰዎች ናቸሁ፤ ጥበብ ከእናንተ ጋር ትሞታለች።BSBBSB: “Truly then you are the people with whom wisdom itself will die!
3. 3ULBነገር ግን እኔ እንደ እናንተው ማስተዋል አለኝ፤ ከእናንተም የማንስ አይደለሁም፤ በእርግጥ እንደ እነዚህ ያሉትን ነገሮች የማያውቅ ማን ነው?BSBBSB: But I also have a mind; I am not inferior to you. Who does not know such things as these?
4. 4ULBእግዚአብሔርን ሲጠራ የሚመልስለት ሰው የነበርሁ እኔ አሁን ለጎረቤቶቼ መሳለቅያ ሆኛለሁ፤ ጻድቅና ነቀፋ የሌለበት የነበርሁ እኔ አሁን ማሾፊያ ሆኛለሁ።BSBBSB: I am a laughingstock to my friends, though I called on God, and He answered. The righteous and upright man is a laughingstock.
5. 5ULBበደላው ሰው ሃሳብ ውስጥ መከራ የተናቀ ነው፤ እግሩ ለሚሸራተት ሰው ችግሩን ሊጨምርበት ያስባል።BSBBSB: The one at ease scorns misfortune as the fate of those whose feet are slipping.
6. 6ULBየዘራፊዎች ድንኳን ይበለጥጋል፥ እግዚአብሔርንም የሚያስቈጡ በደህና ተቀምጠዋል፤ የገዛ እጃቸውን አምላካቸው አድርገዋል።BSBBSB: The tents of robbers are safe, and those who provoke God are secure—those who carry their god in their hands.
7. 7ULBአሁን ግን እንስሶችን ጠይቁ፥ ያስተምሯችኋል፤ የሰማይንም ወፎች ጠይቁ፥ ይነግሯችኋል።BSBBSB: But ask the animals, and they will instruct you; ask the birds of the air, and they will tell you.
8. 8ULBወይም ለምድር ተናገሩ፥ እርስዋም ታስተምራችኋለች፤ የባሕርም ዓሣዎች በግልጥ ይነግሯችኋል።BSBBSB: Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; let the fish of the sea inform you.
9. 9ULBከእነዚህ ሁሉ እንስሳት የእግዚአብሔር እጅ ይህን እንዳደረገ፤ የሕያዋን ሁሉ ህይወት፤BSBBSB: Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this?
10. 10ULBየሰው ልጆችንም ሁሉ እስትንፋስ በእጁ እንደያዘ የማያውቅ ማን ነው?።BSBBSB: The life of every living thing is in His hand, as well as the breath of all mankind.
11. 11ULBምላስ የምግብን ጣዕም እንደሚቀምስ፥ ጆሮ ቃላትን አይለይምን?BSBBSB: Does not the ear test words as the tongue tastes its food?
12. 12ULBእድሜ በገፉት ዘንድ ጥበብ፥ በዘመን ርዝማኔም ማስተዋል ይገኛል።BSBBSB: Wisdom is found with the elderly, and understanding comes with long life.
13. 13ULBበእግዚአብሔር ዘንድ ጥበብና ኃይል አለ ምክርና ማስተዋልም በእርሱ ዘንድ ይገኛሉ።BSBBSB: Wisdom and strength belong to God; counsel and understanding are His.
14. 14ULBእነሆ፥ እርሱ ያፈርሳል፥ ተመልሶም አይሠራም፤ አንድን ሰው ቢያስር ሊፈታው የሚችል የለም።BSBBSB: What He tears down cannot be rebuilt; the man He imprisons cannot be released.
15. 15ULBእነሆ፥ ውኆቹን ቢከለክል፥ እነርሱ ይደርቃሉ፤ እንደ ገናም ቢለቃቸው፥ ምድርን ያጥለቀልቃሉ።BSBBSB: If He holds back the waters, they dry up, and if He releases them, they overwhelm the land.
16. 16ULBብርታትና ጥበብ በእርሱ ዘንድ ናቸው፤ የሚስተውና የሚያስተው በእርሱ ስልጣን ስር ናቸው።BSBBSB: True wisdom and power belong to Him. The deceived and the deceiver are His.
17. 17ULBመካሪዎችንም ባዶአቸውን በሃዘን ይሰዳቸዋል፥ ፈራጆችንም አላዋቂ ያደርጋቸዋል።BSBBSB: He leads counselors away barefoot and makes fools of judges.
18. 18ULBየነገሥታትንም የስልጣን ሰንሰለት ይፈታል፥ ወገባቸውንም በመታጠቂያ ልብስ ያስርላቸዋል።BSBBSB: He loosens the bonds placed by kings and fastens a belt around their waists.
19. 19ULBይሽራል ባዶአቸውንምይሰዳቸዋል፥ ኃያላንንም ይገለብጣቸዋል።BSBBSB: He leads priests away barefoot and overthrows the established.
20. 20ULBየታመኑ ሰዎችንም ንግግረ ያስወግዳል፥ የሽማግሌዎችንም ማስተዋል ይወስድባቸዋል።BSBBSB: He deprives the trusted of speech and takes away the discernment of elders.
21. 21ULBበአለቆች ላይ ንቀትን ያፈሳል፥ የብርቱ ሰዎችንም ቀበቶ ይፈታል።BSBBSB: He pours out contempt on nobles and disarms the mighty.
22. 22ULBከጨለማ ውስጥ ጥልቅ ነገሮችን ይገልጣል፥ ከሙታንም ሰፈር የመታየትን ጥላ ወደ ብርሃን ያወጣል።BSBBSB: He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings deep shadows into light.
23. 23ULBህዝቦችን ብርቱ ያደርጋል፥ ደግሞም ያጠፋቸዋል፤ ህዝቦችንም ያበዛል፥ ደግሞም ወደ ግዞት ይልካቸዋል።BSBBSB: He makes nations great and destroys them; He enlarges nations, then disperses them.
24. 24ULBከምድር ሕዝብ አለቆች ማስተዋልን ይወስዳል፥ መንገድም በሌለበት ምድረበዳ ያቅበዘብዛቸዋል።BSBBSB: He deprives the earth’s leaders of reason and makes them wander in a trackless wasteland.
25. 25ULBብርሃን በሌለበት በጨለማ ይዳክራሉ፤ እንደ ሰካራምም ይንገዳገዳሉ።BSBBSB: They grope in the darkness without light; He makes them stagger like drunkards.
