1 ULB ለይሁዳም ልጆች ነገድ በየወገናቸው መሬትን ማከፋፈል እስከ ጺን ምድረ በዳ እስከ ደቡብም መጨረሻ እስከ ኤዶምያስ ዳርቻ ድረስ ዕጣ ሆነላቸው። BSB BSB: Now the allotment for the clans of the tribe of Judah extended to the border of Edom, to the Wilderness of Zin at the extreme southern boundary:
2 ULB በደቡብም በኩል ያለው ድንበራቸው እስከ ጨው ባሕር መጨረሻ ወደ ደቡብ እስከሚያይ እስከ ባሕረ ልሳን ነበረ። BSB BSB: Their southern border started at the bay on the southern tip of the Salt Sea,
3 ULB ከዚያም ቀጥሎ ከኮረብታ በስተደቡብ በኩል ወደ ጺንም አለፈ፤በቃዴስ በርኔ ወደ ደቡብ በኩል ይዘልቃል፤ በሐጽሮንም በኩል አልፎ ወደ አዳርም ደረሰ፥ ወደ ቀርቃ ዞረ፥ BSB BSB: proceeded south of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continued on to Zin, went over to the south of Kadesh-barnea, ran past Hezron up to Addar, and curved toward Karka.
4 ULB ወደ አጽሞንም አለፈ፥ በግብፅም ወንዝ በኩል ወጣ፥ የድንባሩም መውጫ በባሕሩ አጠገብ ነበር፤ በደቡብ በኩል ያለው ድንበራቸው ይህ ነው። BSB BSB: It proceeded to Azmon, joined the Brook of Egypt, and ended at the Sea. This was their southern border.
5 ULB በምሥራቅም በኩል ያለው ድንበር እስከ ጨው ባሕር እስከ ዮርዳኖስም መጨረሻ ነበረ። በሰሜንም በኩል ያለው ድንበር በዩርዳኖስ መጨረሻ እስካለው እስከ ባሕሩ ልሳን ድረስ ነበር። BSB BSB: The eastern border was the Salt Sea as far as the mouth of the Jordan. The northern border started from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan,
6 ULB ከዚያም ድንበሩ ወደ ቤት ሖግላ ወጣ፥ በቤት ዓርባ በሰሜን በኩል አለፈ። (ወደ ሮቤልም ልጅ ወደ ቦሀን) ድንጋይ ወጣ። BSB BSB: went up to Beth-hoglah, proceeded north of Beth-arabah, and went up to the Stone of Bohan son of Reuben.
7 ULB ድንበሩም ከአኮር ሸለቆ ወደ ዳቤር ወጣ፥ በሰሜን በኩል በአዱሚም ኮረብታ ፊት ለፊት፥በወንዙም በደቡብ በኩል ወዳለችው ወደ ጌልገላ ዞረ። ከዚያም ድንበሩ ወደ ቤት ሳሚስ ውኃ አለፈ፥ መውጫውም በዓይን ሮጌል አጠገብ ነበረ። BSB BSB: Then the border went up to Debir from the Valley of Achor, turning north to Gilgal, which faces the Ascent of Adummim south of the ravine. It continued along the waters of En-shemesh and came out at En-rogel.
8 ULB ከዚያ ድንበሩም በሄኖም ልጅ ሸለቆ አጠገብ (ኢየሩሳሌም) ወደምትባለው ወደ ኢያቡሳዊው ወደ ደቡብ ወገን ወጣ፤ ድንበሩም በራፋይም ሸለቆ ዳር በሰሜን በኩል ባለው በሄኖም ሸለቆ ፊት ለፊት በምዕራብ ወገን ወዳለው ተራራ ራስ ላይ ወጣ። BSB BSB: From there the border went up the Valley of Ben-hinnom along the southern slope of the Jebusites (that is, Jerusalem) and ascended to the top of the hill that faces the Valley of Hinnom on the west, at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim.
9 ULB ድንበሩም ከተራራው ራስ ወደ ኔፍቶ ውኃ ምንጭ ደረሰ፥ ወደ ዔፍሮንም ተራራ ከተሞች ወጣ። ቂርያትይዓሪም ወደምትበል ወደ በኣላ ደረሰ። (ከዚያም ድንበሩ በባኣላ ዙሪያ እንደ ቂርያት በተመሳሳይ ታጠፈ)። BSB BSB: From the hilltop the border curved to the spring of the Waters of Nephtoah, proceeded to the cities of Mount Ephron, and then bent around toward Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim).
10 ULB ድንበሩም ከባአላ በምዕራብ በኩል ወደ ሴይር ተራራ ዞረ፤ክሳሎን ወደምትባል ወደ ይዓሪም ተራራ ወገን በሰሜን በኩል አለፈ፤ ወደ ቤት ሳሚስ ወረድ፥ በተምና በኩልም አለፈ። BSB BSB: The border curled westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, ran along the northern slope of Mount Jearim (that is, Chesalon), went down to Beth-shemesh, and crossed to Timnah.
11 ULB ድንበሩም ወደ አቃሮን ወደ ሰሜን ወገን ወጣ፤ወደ ሽክሮን ደረሰ ወደ በኣላ ተራራ አለፈ፥ በየብኒኤል በኩልም ወጣ፤ የድንበሩም መውጫ በባሕሩ አጠገብ ነበረ። BSB BSB: Then it went out to the northern slope of Ekron, curved toward Shikkeron, proceeded to Mount Baalah, went on to Jabneel, and ended at the Sea.
12 ULB በምዕራቡም በኩል ያለው ድንበር እስከ ታላቁ ባሕርና እስከ ዳርቻው ድረስ ነበረ።ለይሁዳ ልጆች በየወገናቸው በዙሪያው ያለ ድንበራቸው ይህ ነው። BSB BSB: And the western border was the coastline of the Great Sea. These are the boundaries around the clans of the descendants of Judah.
13 ULB እግዚአብሔርም ኢያሱን እንዳዘዘው ለዮፎኒ ልጅ ካሌብ በይሁዳ ልጆች መካከል ቂርያት አርበቅ የምትባለውን ከተማ ድርሻ አድርጎ ሰጠው፤ እርስዋም ኬብሮን ናት፥ ይህም ዘርባቅ የዔናቅ አባት ነበረ። BSB BSB: According to the LORD’s command to him, Joshua gave Caleb son of Jephunneh a portion among the sons of Judah—Kiriath-arba, that is, Hebron. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)
14 ULB ካሌብም ሦስቱን የዔናቅን ልጆች ሴስን፥ አኪመንንና ተላሚን ከዚያ አሳደደ። BSB BSB: And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak—the descendants of Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
15 ULB ከዚምም በዳቤር ሰዎች ላይ ወጣ፤ የዳቤርም ስም አስቀድሞ ቂርያት ሤፍር ትባል ነበር። BSB BSB: From there he marched against the inhabitants of Debir (formerly known as Kiriath-sepher).
16 ULB ካሌብም እንዲህ አለ፦ ቂርያት ሤፍርን ለሚመታ ለሚይዛትም ልጄን ዓክሳን አጋባዋለሁ አለ። BSB BSB: And Caleb said, “To the man who strikes down Kiriath-sepher and captures it, I will give my daughter Acsah in marriage.”
17 ULB የካሌብ ወንድም የቄኔዝ ልጅ ጎቶንያል ያዛት። ስለዚህም ካሌብ ልጁን ዓክሳን አጋባው። BSB BSB: So Othniel son of Caleb’s brother Kenaz captured the city, and Caleb gave his daughter Acsah to him in marriage.
18 ULB ዓክሳም ወደ እርሱ በመጣች ጊዜ ከአባትዋ እርሻ ለመለምን ገፋፈችው፤ እርስዋም ከአህያዋ ወረደች፤ካሌብም፦ ምን ፈለግሽ? አላት። BSB BSB: One day Acsah came to Othniel and urged him to ask her father for a field. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What do you desire?”
19 ULB እርስዋም፦ ስጦታ ስጠኝ፤ የኔጌቭ ምድር ሰጥተኸኛል፥ አሁን ደግሞ የውኃውን ምንጭ ስጠኝ አለችው። እርሱም የላይኛውንና የታችኛውን ምንጭ ሰጣት። BSB BSB: “Give me a blessing,” she answered. “Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me springs of water as well.” So Caleb gave her both the upper and lower springs.
20 ULB በየወገኖቻቸውም የይሁዳ ልጆች ነገድ የተሰጠ ርስት ይህ ነው። BSB BSB: This is the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Judah.
21 ULB በድቡብም በኩል በምድራቸው ዳርቻ አጠገብ እስከ ኤዶምያስ ድንበር ያሉትን የይሁዳ ልጆች ነገድ ከተሞች እነዚህ ነበሩ ቀብስኤል፥ ዓዴር፥ ያጉር፥ BSB BSB: These were the southernmost cities of the tribe of Judah in the Negev toward the border of Edom: Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,
22 ULB ቂና፥ ዲሞና፥ ዓድዓዳ፥ BSB BSB: Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah,
23 ULB ቃዴስ፥ ሐጾር፥ ዪትናን BSB BSB: Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan,
24 ULB ዚፍ፥ጠሌም፥በዓሎት። BSB BSB: Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,
25 ULB ሐጾርሐ ዳታ፥ ሐጾር የምትባለውም ቂርታይሐጾር፥ BSB BSB: Hazor-hadattah, Kerioth-hezron (that is, Hazor),
26 ULB አማም ሽማዕ፥ ሞላዳ፥ BSB BSB: Amam, Shema, Moladah,
27 ULB ሐጸርጋዳ፥ሐሽሞን፥ ቤትጳሌጥ፥ BSB BSB: Hazar-gaddah, Heshmon, Beth-pelet,
28 ULB ሐጸርሹዓል፥ ቤርሳቤህ፥ ቢዝዮትያ፥ BSB BSB: Hazar-shual, Beersheba, Biziothiah,
29 ULB በኣላ፥ ዒዮም፥ ዓጼም፥ BSB BSB: Baalah, Iim, Ezem,
30 ULB ኤልቶላድ፥ ኪሲል፥ ሔርማ፥ BSB BSB: Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah,
31 ULB ጺቅላግ፥ ማድማና፥ ሳንሳና፥ BSB BSB: Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,
32 ULB ልባዎት፥ ሺልሂም፥ ዓይን፥ ሪሞም፤ ሀያ ዘጠኝ ከተሞችና መንደሮቻቸው። BSB BSB: Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon—twenty-nine cities in all, along with their villages.
33 ULB በቆላው ኤሽታኦል፥ ጾርዓ፥ አሽና፥ BSB BSB: These were in the foothills: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,
34 ULB ዛኖዋ፥ ጫይንገኒም፥ ያጱዋ፥ ዓይናም፥ BSB BSB: Zanoah, En-gannim, Tappuah, Enam,
35 ULB የሩት፥ ዓዶላም፥ ሰኮት፥ ዓዜቃ፥ BSB BSB: Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,
36 ULB ሽዓራይም፥ ዓዲታይም፥ ግርራ፥ ግርሮታይም፤ አሥራ አራት ከተሞችና መንደሮቻቸው። BSB BSB: Shaaraim, Adithaim, and Gederah (or Gederothaim)—fourteen cities, along with their villages.
37 ULB ጽናን፥ ሐዳሻ፥ ሚግዳልጋድ፥ BSB BSB: Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal-gad,
38 ULB ዲልዓን፥ ምጽጳ፥ ዮቅትኤል፥ BSB BSB: Dilan, Mizpeh, Joktheel,
39 ULB ለኪሶ፥ በጽቃት፥ አግሎን BSB BSB: Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,
40 ULB አዶላም፥ ከቦን፥ ለሕማስ፥ ኪትሊሽ፥ BSB BSB: Cabbon, Lahmas, Chitlish,

42 ULB ልብና፥ ዔቴር፥ ዓሻን፥ BSB BSB: Libnah, Ether, Ashan,
43 ULB ይፍታሕ፥ አሽና፥ንጺብ፥ BSB BSB: Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,
44 ULB ቅዒላ፥ አክዚብ፥ መሪሳ፤ ዘጠኝ ከተሞችና ቁጥር ስፍር የሌላቸው መንደሮቻቸው። BSB BSB: Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah—nine cities, along with their villages.
45 ULB አቃሮን፥ ከተመሸጉና ካልተመሸጉ ከተሞችና መንደሮችዋ ጋር፤ BSB BSB: Ekron, with its towns and villages;
46 ULB ከአቃሮንም ጀምሮ እስከ ባሕር ድረስ በአዛጦን አጠገብ ያሉት ሁሉ ከመንደሮቻቸው ጋር። BSB BSB: from Ekron to the sea, all the cities near Ashdod, along with their villages;
47 ULB በአዛጦን የተመሸጉና መንደሮችዋም፥ ጋዛና የተመሸጉ ከተሞችና መንደሮችዋ፥ እስከ ግብፅ ወንዝና እስከ ታላቁ ባሕር ካርቻ ክረስ። BSB BSB: Ashdod, with its towns and villages; Gaza, with its towns and villages, as far as the Brook of Egypt and the coastline of the Great Sea.
48 ULB በተራራማውም አገር ሳምር፥ የቲር፥ ሶኮ፥ BSB BSB: These were in the hill country: Shamir, Jattir, Socoh,
49 ULB ደና፥ ዳቤር የምትባለው ቂርያትሰና፥ BSB BSB: Dannah, Kiriath-sannah (that is, Debir),

51 ULB ጎሶም፥ ሖሎን፥ ጊሎ፤ አሥራ አንድ ከተሞችና ቁጥር ስፍር የሌላቸው መንደሮቻቸው። BSB BSB: Goshen, Holon, and Giloh—eleven cities, along with their villages.
52 ULB አራብ፥ ዱማ፥ ኤሽዓን፥ BSB BSB: Arab, Dumah, Eshan,
53 ULB ያንም፥ ቤትታጱዋ፥ አፌቃ፥ BSB BSB: Janim, Beth-tappuah, Aphekah,

61 ULB በምድረ በዳ ቤትዓረባ፥ ሚዲን፥ ስካካ፥ BSB BSB: These were in the wilderness: Beth-arabah, Middin, Secacah,
62 ULB ኒብሻን፥ የጨው ከተማ፥ ዓይንጋዲ፤ ስድስት ከተሞችና ቁጥር ስፍር የሌላቸው መንደሮቻቸው። BSB BSB: Nibshan, the City of Salt, and En-gedi—six cities, along with their villages.
