1 ULB ያህዌ ሙሴን እንዲህ አለው፣ BSB BSB: And the LORD said to Moses,
2 ULB ”ለእስራኤል ሰዎች ተናገራቸው፡፡ ከእነርሱ በትሮችን ውሰድ፣ ከየነገዱ አባቶች አንድ በትር ውሰድ፡፡ ከእያንዱ መሪ አንድ በአጠቃላይ ከየነገድ የተመረጡ አስራ ሁለት በትሮችን ውሰድ፡፡ የእያንዳንዱን ሰው ስም በበትሩ ላይ ጻፍ፡፡ BSB BSB: “Speak to the Israelites and take from them twelve staffs, one from the leader of each tribe. Write each man’s name on his staff,
3 ULB የአሮንን ስም በሌዊ በትር ላይ ጻፍ፡፡ ለእያንዳንዱ መሪ ከየአባቶቹ ነገድ አንድ በትር ሊኖር ያስፈልጋል፡፡ BSB BSB: and write Aaron’s name on the staff of Levi, because there must be one staff for the head of each tribe.
4 ULB በትሮቹን ከአንተ ጋር በምገናኝበት በመገናኛው ድንኳን ከምስክሩ ኪዳን ፊት አስቀምጣቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Place the staffs in the Tent of Meeting in front of the Testimony, where I meet with you.
5 ULB እንዲህ ይሆናል፣ እኔ የምመርጠው ሰው በትር ታቆጠቁጣለች፡፡ የእስራኤለ ሰዎች በአንተ ላይ የሚያደርጉትን ማጉረምረማቸውን እንዲያቆሙ አደርጋለሁ፡፡” BSB BSB: The staff belonging to the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid Myself of the constant grumbling of the Israelites against you.”
6 ULB ሙሴ ለእስራኤል ሰዎች ተናገረ፡፡ ሁሉም የነገዱ መሪዎች በትሮቻቸውን ሰጡት፣ ከእያንዳንዱ መሪ አንድ በትር፣ ከየነገዱ አባቶች ተመረጠ፣ በአጠቃላይ አስራ ሁለት በትሮች ተመረጡ፡፡ የአሮን በትር ከእነዚህ መሀል ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and each of their leaders gave him a staff—one for each of the leaders of their tribes, twelve staffs in all. And Aaron’s staff was among them.
7 ULB ከዚያ ሙሴ እነዚህን በትሮች ወስዶ በያህዌ ፊት በምስክሩ ድንኳን ውስጥ አስቀመጣቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Then Moses placed the staffs before the LORD in the Tent of the Testimony.
8 ULB በማግስቱ ሙሴ ወደ ምስክሩ ድንኳን ሄደ፣ እናም የሌዊ ነገድ የሆነችው የአሮን በትር አቆጥቁጣ አየ፡፡ እምቡጥ አብቅላ፣ አበባና ለውዝም አፍርታ ነበር! BSB BSB: The next day Moses entered the Tent of the Testimony and saw that Aaron’s staff, representing the house of Levi, had sprouted, put forth buds, blossomed, and produced almonds.
9 ULB ሙሴ በትሮቹን ሁሉ ከያህዌ ፊት ወደ እስራኤል ሰዎች ሁሉ አመጣቸው፡፡ እያንዳንዱ ሰው የራሱን በትር አግኝቶ ወሰደ፡፡ BSB BSB: Then Moses brought out all the staffs from the LORD’s presence to all the Israelites. They saw them, and each man took his own staff.
10 ULB ያህዌ ሙሴን እንዲህ አለው፣ “የአሮንን በትር በምስክሩ ፊት አስቀምጣት፡፡ ባመፁት ሰዎች ላይ ለበደላቸው ምልክት ይሆን ዘንድ አስቀምጣት፣ ስለዚህም በእኔ ላይ የሚያሰሙትን ማጉረምረም ፍጻሜ ታደርግለታለህ፤ ይህ ካልሆነ ይሞታሉ፡፡” BSB BSB: The LORD said to Moses, “Put Aaron’s staff back in front of the Testimony, to be kept as a sign for the rebellious, so that you may put an end to their grumbling against Me, lest they die.”
11 ULB ሙሴ ልክ ያህዌ እንዳዘዘው አደረገ፡፡ BSB BSB: So Moses did as the LORD had commanded him.
12 ULB የእስራኤል ሰዎች ሙሴን፣ “እኛ ሁላችንም እዚህ መሞታችን ነው፣ ሁላችንም መጥፋታችን ነው! BSB BSB: Then the Israelites declared to Moses, “Look, we are perishing! We are lost; we are all lost!
13 ULB ወደ ያህዌ ማደሪያ ድንኳን የቀረቡ፣ እያንዳንዳቸው ወደዚህ የመጡ ይሞታሉ፡፡ ሁላችንም መጥፋት ይኖርብናልን?” አሉት፡፡ BSB BSB: Anyone who comes near the tabernacle of the LORD will die. Are we all going to perish?”
