1 ULB ሙሴ ለእስራኤል ህዝብ የጎሳ መሪዎች እንዲህ አላቸው፣ “ያህዌ ያዘዘው ይህን ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: Then Moses said to the heads of the tribes of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded:
2 ULB ማንም ሰው ለያህዌ ስዕለት ሲሳል፣ ወይም በቃል ኪዳን ራሱን በመሀላ ሲያስር፣ ቃሉን ማፍረስ የለበትም፡፡ ከአፉ የወጣውን ማናቸውንም ነገር ለማድረግ ቃልኪዳኑን መጠበቅ አለበት፡፡ BSB BSB: If a man makes a vow to the LORD or swears an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word; he must do everything he has promised.
3 ULB አንዲት ወጣት ሴት በአባቷ ቤት እያለች ለያህዌ ብትሳልና በመሀላ ራሷን ብታስር፣ BSB BSB: And if a woman in her father’s house during her youth makes a vow to the LORD or obligates herself by a pledge,
4 ULB አባቷም ስዕለቷንና ራሷን ያሰረችበትን መሀላ ቢሰማ፣ እርሱም እርሷን ለመመለስ አንዳች ነገር ባይናገር መሀላዎቿ ሁሉ መፈፀም አለባቸው፡፡ ራሷን ያሰረችባቸው ቃልኪዳኖች ሁሉ ተግባራዊ ይሆናሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: and her father hears about her vow or pledge but says nothing to her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
5 ULB ነገር ግን አባቷ ስለ ስዕለቷና ስለገባችው ቃል ኪዳን ሰምቶ ምንም ነገር ባይነግራት በራሷ ላይ የወሰደቻቸው የገባቻቸው መሀላዎችና ቃል ኪዳኖች መፈጸም አለባቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: But if her father prohibits her on the day he hears about it, then none of the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand. The LORD will absolve her because her father has prohibited her.
6 ULB ሆኖም ግን፣ አባቷ የገባቻቸውን መሀላዎች ሁሉና የከበሩ ቃል ኪዳኖቿን ራሷን ግዴታ ውስጥ ያስገባችበትን ነገር ቢሰማ፣ ደግሞም በዚያው ቀን ማድረግ ያለበትን ቢነግራት መሀላዋን ለመፈጸም አትገደድም፡፡ ያህዌ ይቅር ይላታል ምክንያቱም አባቷ ማድረግ ያለባትን ነግሯታል፡፡ BSB BSB: If a woman marries while under a vow or rash promise by which she has bound herself,
7 ULB እነዚያ መሀላዎች እያሉባት ባል ብታገባ ወይም በችኮላ መሀላ ብታደርግና ራሷን ግዴታ ውስጥ ብታስገባ እነዚያ ግዴታዎች መፈጸም አለባቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her on that day, then the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
8 ULB ነገር ግን ባሏ በዚያው ቀን ሰምቶ ቢከለክላት የገባቸውን መሀላና በችኮላ ራሷን ያሰረችበትን መሀላዋን ያስቀራል፡፡ ያህዌ ከዚህ ነጻ ያደርጋታል፡፡ BSB BSB: But if her husband prohibits her when he hears of it, he nullifies the vow that binds her or the rash promise she has made, and the LORD will absolve her.
9 ULB ባሏ የሞተባት ወይም ከባሏ የተፋታች ሴት ግን ራሷን የሰራችባቸው ነገሮች ሁሉ ተፈፃሚ ይሆኑባታል፡፡ BSB BSB: Every vow a widow or divorced woman pledges to fulfill is binding on her.
10 ULB ከባሏ ቤተሰቦች ጋር ያለች ሴት ብትሳል ራሷን በቃል ኪዳን መሀላ ብታስር፣ BSB BSB: If a woman in her husband’s house has made a vow or put herself under an obligation with an oath,
11 ULB እና ባልዋ ሰምቶ ምንም ነገር ባይነግራት ስእለቷን ባያስቀር፣ ስዕለቶቿ ሁሉ መፈጸም አለባቸው፡፡ ራሷን ያሰረችባቸው ቃልኪዳኖች ሁሉ መፈጸም አለባቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her and does not prohibit her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
12 ULB ነገር ግን ባሏ ስለ ስዕለቶቿ በሰማ ቀን እንዲቀሩ ካደረገ፣ ስለ ስዕለቶቿ ወይም ቃልኪዳኖቿ ከከንፈሯ የወጡ ነገሮች ሁሉ የግዴታ መፈጸም አይኖርባቸውም፡፡ ባልዋ አስቀርቷቸዋል፡፡ ያህዌ ነጻ ያደርጋታል፡፤ BSB BSB: But if her husband nullifies them on the day he hears of them, then nothing that came from her lips, whether her vows or pledges, shall stand. Her husband has nullified them, and the LORD will absolve her.
13 ULB አንዲት ሴት የገባችውን እያንዳንዱን መሀላ ወይም ስእለት እንድታጥፍ የሚያደርጋትን አንዳች ነገር በባሏ ሊጸና ወይም ሊሻር ይችላል፡፡ BSB BSB: Her husband may confirm or nullify any vow or any sworn pledge to deny herself.
14 ULB ነገር ግን ቀናት ሲያልፉ ባሏ አንዳች ካልነገራት፣ ስዕቶቿን ሁሉ እና ቃል የገባቻቸውን ነገሮች ያፀናባታል፡፡ ስዕቶቿንና መሀላዎቿን የሚያፀናባት ስለእነዚህ በሰማበት ጊዜ ምንም ስላልነገራት ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he confirms all the vows and pledges that bind her. He has confirmed them, because he said nothing to her on the day he heard about them.
15 ULB ባሏ የሚስቱን ስዕለት ከሰማ ከረጅም ጊዜ በኋላ ሊሽር ቢሞክር፣ ስለእርሷ ኃጢአት ሀላፊነቱን ይወስዳል፡፡” BSB BSB: But if he nullifies them after he hears of them, then he will bear her iniquity.”
16 ULB ያህዌ ሙሴ እንዲያውጃቸው የሰጠው ቋሚ መመሪያዎች እነዚህ ናቸው፡፡ በአንድ ወንድና በሚስቱ መሀል፣ እንዲሁም በአባትና በወጣትነቷ በአባቷ ቤት ስለምትኖር ሴት ልጁ ያህዌ የሰጠው ቋሚ መመሪያ ይህ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: These are the statutes that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the relationship between a man and his wife, and between a father and a young daughter still in his home.
