1 ULB ያህዌ ሙሴን እንዲህ አለው፣ BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
2 ULB “የእስራኤልን ሰዎች እንዲህ ብለህ እዘዛቸው፣ ‘የእናንተ ወደምትሆን የከነዓን ምድርና ወደ ድንበሮቿ ስትገቡ፣ BSB BSB: “Command the Israelites and say to them: When you enter the land of Canaan, it will be allotted to you as an inheritance with these boundaries:
3 ULB ደቡባዊ ድንበራችሁ ከሲና ምድረ በዳ እስከ ኤዶም ይደርሳል፡፡ የደቡባዊ ድንበር ምስራቃዊ ጫፍ በጨው ባህር ደቡባዊ ጫፍ ድረስ ይሆናል፡፡ BSB BSB: Your southern border will extend from the Wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom. On the east, your southern border will run from the end of the Salt Sea,
4 ULB ከአቅራቢም ኮረብታ ድንበራችሁ ወደ ደቡብ ይዞርና በሲና ምድረበዳ በኩል ያልፋል፡፡ ከዚያ ተነስቶ፣ በቃዴስ በርኔ ደቡብ ያልፍና ወደ ሐጸር አዳር እና ርቆ ዓጽምን ይደርሳል፡፡ BSB BSB: cross south of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continue to Zin, and go south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it will go on to Hazar-addar and proceed to Azmon,
5 ULB ከዚያ ተነስቶ፣ ድንበሩ ከጽሞን ወደ ግብጽ ጅረት ዞሮ እስከ ባህሩ ይከተለዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: where it will turn from Azmon, join the Brook of Egypt, and end at the Sea.
6 ULB ምዕራባዊው ድንበር የታላቁ ባህር ዳርቻ ይሆናል፡፡ ይህ ምዕራባዊ ድንበራችሁ ይሆናል፡፡ BSB BSB: Your western border will be the coastline of the Great Sea; this will be your boundary on the west.
7 ULB ሰሜናዊ ድንበራችሁ ከታላቁ ባህር እስከ ሆር ተራራ እስከ ምትይዙት ስፍራ ድረስ ይሰፋል፣ BSB BSB: Your northern border will run from the Great Sea directly to Mount Hor,
8 ULB ከዚያ ከሖር ተራራ እስከ ሌና ሐማት፣ ከዚያ እስከ ጽዳድ ይደርሳል፡፡ BSB BSB: and from Mount Hor to Lebo-hamath, then extend to Zedad,
9 ULB ከዚያ ድንበሩ እስከ ዚፍሮን ይቀጥልና ሐጻር ዔርን ሲደርስ ይጨርሳል፡፡ ይህ ሰሜናዊ ድንበራችሁ ይሆናል፡፡ BSB BSB: continue to Ziphron, and end at Hazar-enan. This will be your boundary on the north.
10 ULB ምስራቃዊ ድንበራችሁን ከሐጸር ዔናን በደቡብ እስከ ሴፋም ታደርጋላችሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: And your eastern border will run straight from Hazar-enan to Shepham,
11 ULB ምስራቃዊ ድንበራችሁ ታች እስከ ሴፋም ወርዶ በዓይን ምስራቅ በኩል ራብላ ይደርሳል፡፡ ድንበሩ እስከ ከኔሬት ባህር ምስራቅ ይዘልቃል፡፡ BSB BSB: then go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain and continue along the slopes east of the Sea of Chinnereth.
12 ULB ከዚያ ድንበሩ በደቡብ በዮርዳኖስ ወንዝ በኩል እስከ ጨው ባህር እና ታች የጨው ባህር ምስራቅ ዳርቻ ድረስ ይቀጥላል፡፡ ይህች ድንበሩን ተከትሎ ዙሪያውን በሙሉ የእናንተ ምድራችሁ ናት፡፡ BSB BSB: Then the border will go down along the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea. This will be your land, defined by its borders on all sides.”
13 ULB ሙሴ የእስራኤልን ሰዎች እንዲህ ሲል አዘዘ፣ “ያህዌ ለዘጠኙ ጎሳዎችና ለአንዱ ጎሳ እኩሌታ እንዲሰጣችሁ ያዘዘው፣ በዕጣ የምትካፈሏት ምድር ይህች ናት፡፡ BSB BSB: So Moses commanded the Israelites, “Apportion this land by lot as an inheritance. The LORD has commanded that it be given to the nine and a half tribes.
14 ULB የሮቤል ጎሣ ትውልዶች እና የጋድ ጎሣ ትውልዶች እንዲሁም የምናሴ ነገድ እኩሌታ በየአባቶቻቸው ጎሣዎች የንብረት አከፋፈልን ስርዓት ተከትለው ርስታቸውን ተቀብለዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: For the tribes of the Reubenites and Gadites, along with the half-tribe of Manasseh, have already received their inheritance.
15 ULB ሁለቱ ጎሣዎችና የአንዱ ጎሣ እኩሌታ ከዮርዳኖስ ወዲያ በኢያሪኮ በስተ ምስራቅ በጸሀይ መውጫ የርስታቸውን ድርሻ ተቀብለዋል፡፡” BSB BSB: These two and a half tribes have received their inheritance across the Jordan from Jericho, toward the sunrise.”
16 ULB ያህዌ ሙሴን እንዲህ ብሎ ተናገረው፣ BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
17 ULB “ምድሪቱን ርስታችሁ አድርገው የሚያፋፍሏችሁ ሰዎች ስማቸው እነዚህ ናቸው፡ ካህኑ አልዓዛርና የነዌ ልጅ ኢያሱ ናቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: “These are the names of the men who are to assign the land as an inheritance for you: Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun.
18 ULB ለየጎሣቸው ምድሪቱን እንዲያካፍሉ ከየነገዱ አንድ መሪ ምረጡ፡፡ BSB BSB: Appoint one leader from each tribe to distribute the land.
19 ULB የሰዎቹም ስሞች እነዚህ ናቸው፡ ከይሁዳ ነገድ የዩፎኒ ልጅ ካሌብ፡፡ BSB BSB: These are their names: Caleb son of Jephunneh from the tribe of Judah;
20 ULB ከስምኦን ጎሣ ትውልዶች የዓሁድ ልጅ ሰላሚኤል፡፡ BSB BSB: Shemuel son of Ammihud from the tribe of Simeon;
21 ULB ከቢኒያም ጎሣ፣ የኪስሎን ልጅ ኤልዳድ፡፡ BSB BSB: Elidad son of Chislon from the tribe of Benjamin;
22 ULB መሪ ከሆነው ከዳን ጎሣ ትውልዶች፣ የዩግሊ ልጅ ቡቂ፡፡ BSB BSB: Bukki son of Jogli, a leader from the tribe of Dan;
23 ULB ከዮሴፍ ትውልዶች፣ መሪ ከሆነው ከምናሴ ትውልዶች የሱፊድ ልጅ አኒኤል፡፡ BSB BSB: Hanniel son of Ephod, a leader from the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph;
24 ULB መሪ ከሆነው ከኤፍሬም ጎሣ ትውልዶች፣ የሺፍጣን ልጅ ቱሙኤል፡፡ BSB BSB: Kemuel son of Shiphtan, a leader from the tribe of Ephraim;
25 ULB መሪ ከሆነው ከዛብሎን ጎሣ ትውልዶች የፈርናክ ልጅ ኤሊሳፈን፡፡ BSB BSB: Eli-zaphan son of Parnach, a leader from the tribe of Zebulun;
26 ULB መሪ ከሆነው ከይሳኮር ጎሣ ትውልዶች፣ የሖዛ ልጅ ፈልጢኤል፡፡ BSB BSB: Paltiel son of Azzan, a leader from the tribe of Issachar;
27 ULB መሪ ከሆነው ከኤሴር ጎሣ፣ የሴሌሚ ልጅ አሒሁድ፡፡ BSB BSB: Ahihud son of Shelomi, a leader from the tribe of Asher;
28 ULB መሪ ከሆነው ከንፍታሌም ጎሳ ትውልዶች፣ የዓሚሁድ ልጅ ፈዳሄል” ናቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: and Pedahel son of Ammihud, a leader from the tribe of Naphtali.”
29 ULB ያህዌ እነዚህን ሰዎች የከነዓንን ምድር እንዲያካፍሉና ለእያንዳንዱ የእስራኤል ጎሣዎች ድርሻቸውን እንዲሰጡ አዘዘ፡፡ BSB BSB: These are the ones whom the LORD commanded to apportion the inheritance to the Israelites in the land of Canaan.
