1 ULB ስለክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ እስረኛ የሆነው ጳውሎስ ከወንድማችን ከጢሞቴዎስ ጋር ለተወደደው ወንድማችንና የሥራ አጋራችን ለሆነው ለፊሊሞና፣ BSB BSB: Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our beloved fellow worker,
2 ULB ለእህታችን ለአፒፊያ፣አብሮን ወታደር ለሆነው ለአክሪፋ እንዲሁም በቤትህ ላለችው ቤተክርስቲያን፡ BSB BSB: to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church that meets at your house:
3 ULB ከእግዚአብሔር ከአባታችን ከጌታም ከኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ጸጋና ሠላም ለእናንተ ይሁን። BSB BSB: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 ULB በጸሎቴ ሁሉ ስላንተ እያነሳሁ ሁልጊዜ እግዚአብሔርን አመሰግናለሁ። BSB BSB: I always thank my God, remembering you in my prayers,
5 ULB ምክንያቱም በጌታ በኢየሱስ ስላለህ እምነት ለቅዱሳንም ሁሉ ስላለህ ፍቅር ሰምቻለሁ። BSB BSB: because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints.
6 ULB በክርስቶስ በኩል የመልካም ነገር ሁሉ እውቀት በእኛ ውስጥ ስላለ በእምነት ያለህ ተካፋይነት ውጤታማ እንዲሆን እጸልያለሁ። BSB BSB: I pray that your partnership in the faith may become effective as you fully acknowledge every good thing that is ours in Christ.
7 ULB ወንድሜ ሆይ፣ ለዚህም ምክንያቱ የቅዱሳን ሁሉ ልብ በአንተ በማረፉ ምክንያት በፍቅርህ በጣም ደስ ስላለኝና ስለተጽናናሁ ነው። BSB BSB: I take great joy and encouragement in your love, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.
8 ULB ስለዚህም ምንም እንኳ ምን ማድረግ እንዳለብህ በክርስቶስ ለማዘዝ ድፍረት ቢኖረኝም BSB BSB: So although in Christ I am bold enough to order you to do what is proper,
9 ULB በዚህ ፈንታ እንደ ሽማግሌው አሁን ደግሞ ስለ ክርስቶስ እስረኛ እንደሆነው ጳውሎስ በፍቅር እለምንሀለሁ። BSB BSB: I prefer to appeal on the basis of love. For I, Paul, am now aged, and a prisoner of Christ Jesus as well.
10 ULB ልመናዬ በእስርቤት አባት ስለሆንኩት ስለ ልጄ ኦኖሲሞስ ነው። BSB BSB: I appeal to you for my child Onesimus, whose father I became while I was in chains.
11 ULB ምክንያቱም ቀድሞ ለአንተ የማይጠቅም አሁን ግን ለአንተም ለእኔም ጠቃሚ በመሆኑ ነው። BSB BSB: Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me.
12 ULB የልቤ የሆነውን እርሱን ወደ አንተ ልኬዋለሁ። BSB BSB: I am sending back to you him who is my very heart.
13 ULB በእኔ በኩልስ አንተን ወክሎ ስለ ወንጌል በእስር ቤት ያለሁትን ያገለግለኝ ዘንድ እኔ ጋ ቢቀር እወድ ነበር። BSB BSB: I would have liked to keep him with me, so that on your behalf he could minister to me in my chains for the gospel.
14 ULB ነገር ግን መልካም ሥራህ በግድ ሳይሆን በፈቃድህ ይሆን ዘንድ ያለ አንተ ፈቃድ ምንም ማድረግ አልፈለግሁም። BSB BSB: But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that your goodness will not be out of compulsion, but by your own free will.
17 ULB እንግዲህ እንደ አጋርህ ከቆጠርከኝ እንደኔ አድርገህ ተቀበለው። BSB BSB: So if you consider me a partner, receive him as you would receive me.
18 ULB ነገር ግን በምንም መልኩ አሳዝኖህ ቢሆን ወይም ዕዳ ቢኖርበት በእኔ ላይ ቁጠረው። BSB BSB: But if he has wronged you in any way or owes you anything, charge it to my account.
19 ULB እኔ ጳውሎስ እኔ እከፍላለሁ ብዬ በገዛ እጄ ጽፌአለሁ።የገዛ ህይወትህ እንኳ የኔ ነው ብዬህ አላውቅም። BSB BSB: I, Paul, write this with my own hand. I will repay it—not to mention that you owe me your very self.
20 ULB አዎ ወንድሜ ሆይ እስኪ በጌታ ደስ ይበለኝ፥ ልቤም በክርስቶስ ይጽናና። BSB BSB: Yes, brother, let me have some benefit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ.
21 ULB እንደምትታዘዘኝ በመተማመን ካልኩህም በላይ እንደምታደርግ ስለማውቅ ጽፌልሀለሁ። BSB BSB: Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I ask.
22 ULB በነገራችን ላይ ከጸሎታችሁ የተነሳ ወደ እናንተ እንደምመጣ ተስፋ ስለማደርግ አንድ የእንግዳ ክፍል አዘጋጅልኝ። BSB BSB: In the meantime, prepare a guest room for me, because I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you.
23 ULB ስለ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ አብሮኝ የታሰረው ኤጳፍራ BSB BSB: Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends you greetings,
24 ULB እንዲሁም የሥራ አጋሮቼ ማርቆስ፣አርስጥሮኮስ፣ዴማስና ሉቃስ ሠላምታ ያቀርቡልሀል። BSB BSB: as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.
25 ULB የጌታ የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ጸጋ ከመንፈሳችሁ ጋር ይሁን። አሜን! BSB BSB: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
