1 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ለምን ርቀህ ቆምህ? በመከራ ጊዜ ለምን ራስህን ሰወርህ? BSB BSB: Why, O LORD, do You stand far off? Why do You hide in times of trouble?
2 ULB በእብሪት ተነሳሥተው ክፉዎች ጭቁኖችን ያሳድዳሉ እባክህ ክፉዎች ባጠመዱት ወጥመድ ይጠመዱ፡፡ BSB BSB: In pride the wicked pursue the needy; let them be caught in the schemes they devise.
3 ULB ክፉ ሰው በልቡ ምኞት ይኩራራል ስግብግቡን ይባርካል፤ ያህዌን ይሰድባል፡፡ BSB BSB: For the wicked man boasts in the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the LORD.
4 ULB ክፉ ሰው በራሱ ይመካል፤ እግዚአብሔርንም አይፈልግም፡፡ ስለ እርሱ ምንም ደንታ ስለሌለው ስለ እግዚአብሔር አያስብም፡፡ BSB BSB: In his pride the wicked man does not seek Him; in all his schemes there is no God.
5 ULB ነገሩ ዘወትር ለእርሱ የተሳካ ነው የእግዚአብሔርን ፍርድ ግን ሊረዳ አይችልም፡፡ በጠላቶቹ ላይ ይሳለቃል፡፡ BSB BSB: He is secure in his ways at all times; Your lofty judgments are far from him; he sneers at all his foes.
6 ULB በልቡም፣ «በፍጹም አልወድቅም ከትውልድ እስከ ትውልድ መከራ አያገኘኝም» ይላል፡፡ BSB BSB: He says to himself, “I will not be moved; from age to age I am free of distress.”
7 ULB አፉ መርገምን፣ ሸፍጥንና ግፍን የተሞላ ነው፤ በምላሱ ይጐዳል፤ ይገድላልም፡፡ BSB BSB: His mouth is full of cursing, deceit, and violence; trouble and malice are under his tongue.
8 ULB መንደሮች አጠገብ አድፍጦ ይጠብቃል በሰዋራ ቦታ ንጹሐንን ይገድላል ዐይኖቹም ምስኪኖች ላይ ያነጣጥራሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: He lies in wait near the villages; in ambush he slays the innocent; his eyes watch in stealth for the helpless.
9 ULB ደን ውስጥ እንዳለ አንበሳ በስውር ያደባል ረዳት የሌለውን ለመያዝ ያሸምቃል፡፡ መረቡን ዘርግቶ ጭቁኖችን ያጠምዳል፡፡ BSB BSB: He lies in wait like a lion in a thicket; he lurks to seize the oppressed; he catches the lowly in his net.
10 ULB እርሱ መትቶ ይጥላቸዋል፤ ረዳት የሌላቸው ደካሞች ምስኪኖችም የእርሱ ሰለባ ሆነው ይወድቃሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: They are crushed and beaten down; the helpless fall prey to his strength.
11 ULB በልቡም፣ «እግዚአብሔር ረስቶአል እንዳያይም ፊቱን ሸፍኖአል» ይላል፡፡ BSB BSB: He says to himself, “God has forgotten; He hides His face and never sees.”
12 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ተነሥ! አምላክ ሆይ ኃያል ክንድህ ይነሣ! የተጨቆኑትን ችላ አትበላቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Arise, O LORD! Lift up Your hand, O God! Do not forget the helpless.
13 ULB ክፉ ሰው ለምን እግዚአብሔርን ይንቃል? በልቡም ለምን፣ «እግዚአብሔር አይቀጣኝም» ይላል? BSB BSB: Why has the wicked man renounced God? He says to himself, “You will never call me to account.”
14 ULB አንተ ግን መከራንና ሐዘንን ታያለህ ምስኪኑም ራሱን በአንተ ላይ ይጥላል፤ ለድኻ አደጉም አንተ ረዳቱ ነህ፡፡ BSB BSB: But You have regarded trouble and grief; You see to repay it by Your hand. The victim entrusts himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.
15 ULB የክፉና የበደለኛውን ክንድ ስበር አንተ እንደማታገኘው አስቦ ነበር የእጁንም ሰጠው፡፡ BSB BSB: Break the arm of the wicked and evildoer; call him to account for his wickedness until none is left to be found.
16 ULB ያህዌ ከዘላለም እስከ ዘላለም ንጉሥ ነው ሕዝቦችም ከምድሩ ይወገዳሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: The LORD is King forever and ever; the nations perish from His land.
17 ULB ያህዌ የጭቁኖቹን ጩኸት ሰምቷል ልባቸውን ታበረታለህ፤ ጸሎታቸውንም ትሰማለህ BSB BSB: You have heard, O LORD, the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their hearts. You will incline Your ear,
18 ULB ከእንግዲህ ማንም በምድር ላይ ሽብር እንዳያደርግ አንተ አባት ለሌላቸውና ለጭቁኖች መከታ ሆንህላቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: to vindicate the fatherless and oppressed, that the men of the earth may strike terror no more.
