1. 1ULBያህዌ ሆይ፣ ደግ ሰው የለምና አንተው እርዳኝ ከሰው ዘር መካከል አንድ ታማኝ አይገኝም፡፡BSBBSB: For the choirmaster. According to Sheminith. A Psalm of David. Help, O LORD, for the godly are no more; the faithful have vanished from among men.
2. 2ULBእያንዳንዱ ሰው ለባልንጀራው ባዶ ቃላት ይናገራል በሽንገላ ከንፈርና በሁለት ልብ ይናገራል፡፡BSBBSB: They lie to one another; they speak with flattering lips and a double heart.
3. 3ULBሸንጋይ ከናፍርቶችንና በትምክህት የሚናገሩ አንደበቶችን ያህዌ ያጥፋ፡፡BSBBSB: May the LORD cut off all flattering lips and every boastful tongue.
4. 4ULBእነዚህም፣ «በአንደበታችን እንበረታለን የምንናገረውንስ ማን ማስተባበል ይችላል?» የሚሉ ናቸው፡፡BSBBSB: They say, “With our tongues we will prevail. We own our lips—who can be our master?”
5. 5ULB«ስለ ድኾች መከራ፣ ስለ ችግረኞች ጩኸት ያህዌ አሁን እነሣለሁ፤ የናፈቁትንም ሰላም እሰጣቸዋለሁ» ይላል፡፡BSBBSB: “For the cause of the oppressed and for the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD. “I will bring safety to him who yearns.”
6. 6ULBየያህዌ ቃሎች የነጹ ቃሎች ናቸው በእሳት ምድጃ ሰባት ጊዜ እንደ ነጠረ ብር የጠሩ ናቸው፡፡BSBBSB: The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold.
7. 7ULBያህዌ ሆይ፣ አንተ ትጠብቀናለህ ከዚህ ዐመፀኛ ትውልድ ለዘላለም ጻድቃንን ትጠብቃለህ፡፡BSBBSB: You, O LORD, will keep us; You will forever guard us from this generation.
8. 8ULBበሰው ልጆች መካከል ክፋት በገነነበት ጊዜ ዐመፀኞች እንዳሻቸው በየቦታው ይዘራሉ፡፡BSBBSB: The wicked wander freely, and vileness is exalted among men.
