1. 1ULBያህዌ ሆይ፣ ከጥልቅ ወደ አንተ እጮኻለሁ፡፡BSBBSB: A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to You, O LORD!
2. 2ULBጌታ ሆይ፣ ምሕረትን ፈልጌ ስጮኽ ድምፄን ስማ ጆሮህንም ወደ እኔ አዘንብል፡፡BSBBSB: O Lord, hear my voice; let Your ears be attentive to my plea for mercy.
3. 3ULBያህዌ ሆይ፣ አንተ ኃጢአትን ብትከታተል ኖሮ ማን መቆም ይችል ነበር፡፡BSBBSB: If You, O LORD, kept track of iniquities, then who, O Lord, could stand?
4. 4ULBነገር ግን በአንተ ዘንድ ይቅርታ አለ ስለዚህ ልትፈራ ይገባሃል፡፡BSBBSB: But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be feared.
5. 5ULBያህዌን በትዕግሥት እጠብቃለሁ በቃሉም ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ፡፡BSBBSB: I wait for the LORD; my soul does wait, and in His word I put my hope.
6. 6ULBዘብ አዳሪ ንጋትን እንደሚጠብቅ እኔም ጌታን በትዕግሥት እጠብቃለሁ፡፡BSBBSB: My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning—more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7. 7ULBያህዌ መሓሪ ነው፤ ይቅር ለማለትም ፈቃደኛ ነው እስራኤል ሆይ፣ ያህዌን ተስፋ አድርግ፡፡BSBBSB: O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is loving devotion, and with Him is redemption in abundance.
8. 8ULBእርሱ እስራኤልን ከኃጢአቱ ሁሉ ያድነዋል፡፡BSBBSB: And He will redeem Israel from all iniquity.
