1. 1ULBያህዌ ሆይ፣ መረመርኸኝ፤ ደግሞም ዐወቅኸኝ፡፡BSBBSB: For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O LORD, You have searched me and known me.
2. 2ULBአንተ መቀመጤንና መነሣቴን ታውቃለህ የልቤንም ሐሳብ ገና ከሩቅ ትረዳለህ፡፡BSBBSB: You know when I sit and when I rise; You understand my thoughts from afar.
3. 3ULBመሄድ መተኛቴን በሚገባ ታውቃለህ መንገዶቼንም ሁሉ ዐውቀሃቸዋልBSBBSB: You search out my path and my lying down; You are aware of all my ways.
4. 4ULBገና ቃል ከአንደበቴ ሳይወጣ ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ፈጽመህ ታውቃለህ፡፡BSBBSB: Even before a word is on my tongue, You know all about it, O LORD.
5. 5ULBአንተ ከኋላም ከፊትም ዙሪያዬን ከለልኸኝ እጅህንም በላዬ አደረግህ፡፡BSBBSB: You hem me in behind and before; You have laid Your hand upon me.
6. 6ULBእንዲህ ያለው ዕውቀት እጅግ ጥልቅ ነው ከእኔም ማስተዋል በላይ ነው፡፡BSBBSB: Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
7. 7ULBከመንፈስህ ወዴት እሄዳለሁ ከፊትህስ ወዴት እሸሻለሁ፡፡BSBBSB: Where can I go to escape Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?
8. 8ULBወደ ሰማይ ብወጣ አንተ በዚያ አለህ መኝታዬን በሲኦል ባደርግ በዚያ ትገኛለህ፡፡BSBBSB: If I ascend to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there.
9. 9ULBበንጋት ክንፍ ተነሥቼ ብበር እስከ ባሕሩ መጨረሻ ብሄድBSBBSB: If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle by the farthest sea,
10. 10ULBበዚያም ቢሆን እጅህ ትመራኛለች ቀኝ እጅህም ትይዘኛለች፡፡BSBBSB: even there Your hand will guide me; Your right hand will hold me fast.
11. 11ULBደግሞም፣ «ጨለማው በእርግጥ ይሸፍነኛል በዙሪያዬ ያለውም ብርሃን ሌሊት ይሆናል» ብልBSBBSB: If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light become night around me”—
12. 12ULBጨለማ እንኳ ለአንተ አይጨልምም ሌሊቱም እንደ ቀን ያበራል በአንተ ጨለማም ሆነ ብርሃን አንድ ናቸው፡፡BSBBSB: even the darkness is not dark to You, but the night shines like the day, for darkness is as light to You.
13. 13ULBአንተ የውስጥ ሰውነቴን ፈጥረሃል በእናቴ ማሕፀን ውስጥ አበጃጅተህ ሠራኸኝ፡፡BSBBSB: For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14. 14ULBግሩምና ድንቅ ሆኜ ተፈጥሬአለሁና አመሰግንሃለሁ ሥራህ እጅግ ድንቅ ነው ነፍሴም ይህን በሚገባ ታውቃለች፡፡BSBBSB: I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.
15. 15ULBእኔ በስውር በተሠራሁ ጊዜ ዐጥንቶቼ ከአንተ አልተደበቁም፡፡ በምድር ጥልቅ ውስጥ በጥበብ በተሠራሁ ጊዜBSBBSB: My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16. 16ULBበእናቴ ማሕፀን እያለሁ አየኸኝ፡፡ ገና አንዳቸውም ወደ መኖር ሳይመጡ ለእኔ የተወሰኑልኝ ዘመኖች በመጽሐፍህ ተጻፉ፡፡BSBBSB: Your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be.
17. 17ULBአምላኬ ሆይ፣ ለእኔ ያለህ ሐሳብ እንዴት ግሩም ነው! ቁጥሩስ ምንኛ የበዛ ነው!BSBBSB: How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God, how vast is their sum!
18. 18ULBልቁጠራቸው ብል ከአሸዋ ቁጥር ይበልጣሉ ተኛሁ ነቃሁም፤ ያም ሆኖ ግን አሁንም ከአንተው ጋር ነኝ፡፡BSBBSB: If I were to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand; and when I awake, I am still with You.
19. 19ULBአምላክ ሆይ፣ ክፉዎችን ብትገድላቸው ምናለበት! ደም የጠማችሁ ዐመፀኞች ከእኔ ራቁ፡፡BSBBSB: O God, that You would slay the wicked—away from me, you bloodthirsty men—
20. 20ULBእነርሱ በአንተም ላይ ክፉ ይናገራሉ በጠላትነትም ስምህን በክፉ ያጠፋሉ፡፡BSBBSB: who speak of You deceitfully; Your enemies take Your name in vain.
21. 21ULBያህዌ ሆይ፣ የሚጠሉህን አልጠላሁምን? በአንተ ላይ የሚነሡትንስ አልተጸየፍሁምን?BSBBSB: Do I not hate those who hate You, O LORD, and detest those who rise against You?
22. 22ULBበፍጹም ጥላቻ ጠልቻቸዋለሁ እነርሱም ባላጋራዎቼ ሆነዋል፡፡BSBBSB: I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them as my enemies.
23. 23ULBእግዚአብሔር ሆይ፣ መርምረኝ ልቤንም ዕወቅ ፈትነኝ ሐሳቤንም ዕወቅ፡፡BSBBSB: Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns.
24. 24ULBበእኔ ውስጥ የዐመፅ መንገድ ቢኖር እይ በዘላለምም መንገድ ምራኝ፡፡BSBBSB: See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the way everlasting.
