1 ULB እጆቼን ለጦርነት ጣቶቼንም ለውጊያ የሚያሠለጥን ዐለቴ ያህዌ ይባረክ፡፡ BSB BSB: Of David. Blessed be the LORD, my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.
2 ULB አንተ መታመኛዬና መጠጊያዬ ነህ ጽኑ ዐምባዬና ታዳጊዬ የምከለልበት ጋሻዬም ነህ ሕዝቦችን ከእግሬ በታች የምታስገዛልኝም አንተ ነህ፡፡ BSB BSB: He is my steadfast love and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer. He is my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.
3 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ይህን ያህል የምትንከባከበው ሰው ምን ስለሆነ ነው? ይህን ያህል የምታስብለት የሰው ልጅስ ምንድነው? BSB BSB: O LORD, what is man, that You regard him, the son of man that You think of him?
4 ULB ሰው እንደ እስትንፋስ ነው ዘመኑም እንደ ጥላ ያልፋል፡፡ BSB BSB: Man is like a breath; his days are like a passing shadow.
5 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ሰማያትን ሰንጥቀህ ውረድ ይጤሱም ዘንድ ተራሮችን ዳስሳቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Part Your heavens, O LORD, and come down; touch the mountains, that they may smoke.
6 ULB የመብረቅ ብልጭታ ልከህ ጠላቶቼን በትናቸው ፍላጻህን ሰድደህ ግራ አጋባቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Flash forth Your lightning and scatter them; shoot Your arrows and rout them.
7 ULB ከላይ እጅህን ሰደህ ከብዙ ውሆች፣ ከባዕድ ሰዎችም እጅ ታደገኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: Reach down from on high; set me free and rescue me from the deep waters, from the grasp of foreigners,
8 ULB አንደበታቸው ሐሰት ይናገራል ቀኝ እጃቸውም የቅጥፈት ቀኝ እጅ ናት፡፡ BSB BSB: whose mouths speak falsehood, whose right hands are deceitful.
9 ULB አምላክ ሆይ፣ አዲስ መዝሙር እዘምርልሃለሁ ዐሥር አውታር ባለው በገና ምስጋና አቀርብልሃለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: I will sing to You a new song, O God; on a harp of ten strings I will make music to You—
10 ULB አንተ ነገሥታትን ድልን ታጐናጽፋቸዋለህ አገልጋይህ ዳዊትንም ከስለታም ሰይፍ ትታደገዋለህ፡፡ BSB BSB: to Him who gives victory to kings, who frees His servant David from the deadly sword.
11 ULB አንደበታቸው ሐሰት ከሚናገር ቀኝ እጃቸው የቅጥፈት ቀኝ እጅ ከሆነችው ከባዕዳን እጅ ታደገኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: Set me free and rescue me from the grasp of foreigners, whose mouths speak falsehood, whose right hands are deceitful.
12 ULB ወንዶች ልጆቻችን በወጣትነታቸው የተሟላ ዕድገት እንዳገኘ ተክል ሴቶች ልጆቻችንም ቤተ መንግሥት ለማስጌጥ እንደ ተቀረጹ የማእዘን ዐምዶች ይሁኑ፡፡ BSB BSB: Then our sons will be like plants nurtured in their youth, our daughters like corner pillars carved to adorn a palace.
13 ULB ጐተራዎቻችን በተለያዩ የእህል ዐይነቶች የተሞሉ ይሁኑ፡፡ በመስኮቻችን የተሰማሩ በጐች እስከ ሺህ ይወለዱ፣ እስከ ዐሥር ሺህ ይባዙ፡፡ BSB BSB: Our storehouses will be full, supplying all manner of produce; our flocks will bring forth thousands, tens of thousands in our fields.
14 ULB ከብቶቻችን ወላድ ይሁኑ፡፡ አይጨንግፉ አይጥፉ ቅሮቻችን በማንም አይደፈሩ እኛም በምርኮ አንወሰድ፡፡ በአደባባዮቻችን ጩኸት አይሰማ፡፡ BSB BSB: Our oxen will bear great loads. There will be no breach in the walls, no going into captivity, and no cry of lament in our streets.
15 ULB እንዲህ የሚሆንለት ሕዝብ የተባረከ ነው ያህዌ አምላኩ የሆነለት ሕዝብ የተባረከ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: Blessed are the people of whom this is so; blessed are the people whose God is the LORD.
