1 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ነፍሴን ወደ አንተ አነሣለሁ! BSB BSB: Of David. To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul;
2 ULB አምላኬ ሆይ፣ በአንተ እታመናለሁ፡፡ እባክህ አታሳፍረኝ፤ አታዋርደኝ ጠላቶቼም በእኔ ላይ ደስ እንዲላቸው አታድርግ፡፡ BSB BSB: in You, my God, I trust. Do not let me be put to shame; do not let my enemies exult over me.
3 ULB አንተን ተስፋ የሚያደርጉ ከቶ አያፍሩም፤ እንዲያው ያለ ምክንያት የሚያታልሉ ግን ያፍራሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: Surely none who wait for You will be put to shame; but those who engage in treachery without cause will be disgraced.
4 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ አካሄድህን አሳውቀኝ መንገድህንም አስተምረኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: Show me Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths.
5 ULB በእውነትህ ምራኝ አስተምረኝም፤ አንተ የድነቴ አምላክ ነህና ቀኑን ሙሉ በአንተ ታመንሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; all day long I wait for You.
6 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ከጥንት ጀምሮ የነበሩ ምሕረትህንና ፍቅርህን አስብ፡፡ BSB BSB: Remember, O LORD, Your compassion and loving devotion, for they are from age to age.
7 ULB የልጅነቴን ኃጢአት፣ መተላለፌንም አታስብብኝ፤ ያህዌ ሆይ፣ እንደ ቸርነትህ ብዛት እንደ ምሕረትህም መጠን አስበኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my rebellious acts; remember me according to Your loving devotion, because of Your goodness, O LORD.
8 ULB ያህዌ መልካም ቅን ነው፤ ስለዚህ ኃጢአተኞችን መንገድን ያስተምራቸዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He shows sinners the way.
9 ULB ትሑታንን በትክክለኛው መንገድ ይመራቸዋል መንገዱንም ያስተምራቸዋል BSB BSB: He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.
10 ULB ኪዳኑንና ሥርዐቱን ለሚጠብቁ የያህዌ መንገድ ሁሉ ቸርነትና እውነት ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: All the LORD’s ways are loving and faithful to those who keep His covenant and His decrees.
11 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ኃጢአቴ እጅግ ብዙ ነውና ስለ ስምህ ይቅር በለኝ BSB BSB: For the sake of Your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, for it is great.
12 ULB ያህዌን የሚፈራ ሰው ማን ነው ጌታ በመረጠው መንገድ ያስተምረዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the path chosen for him.
13 ULB ዘመኑን በተድላ ደስታ ያሳልፋል ዘሮቹም ምድርን ይወርሳሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: His soul will dwell in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land.
14 ULB ያህዌ ለሚታዘዙት ሁሉ ወዳጃቸው ነው ለእነርሱ የገባውንም ኪዳን ያጸናል፡፡ BSB BSB: The LORD confides in those who fear Him, and reveals His covenant to them.
15 ULB ዐይኖቼ ዘወትር ወደ ያህዌ ናቸው እግሮቼን ከወጥመድ የሚያላቅቃቸው እርሱ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: My eyes are always on the LORD, for He will free my feet from the mesh.
16 ULB እኔ ብቸኛና ምስኪን ነኝና ወደ እኔ ተመለስ ማረኝም፡፡ BSB BSB: Turn to me and be gracious, for I am lonely and afflicted.
17 ULB የልቤ ሐዘን በዝቶአል ከጭንቀቴ አወጣኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: The troubles of my heart increase; free me from my distress.
18 ULB መከራዬንና ጭንቀቴን ተመልከት ኃጢአቴን ሁሉ ይቅር በል፡፡ BSB BSB: Consider my affliction and trouble, and take away all my sins.
19 ULB ጠላቶቼ እንዴት እንደ በዙ እይ፤ እንዴት አምርረው እንደሚጠሉኝ ተመልከት፡፡ BSB BSB: Consider my enemies, for they are many, and they hate me with vicious hatred.
20 ULB ነፍሴን ጠብቃት፤ ታደገኝም በአንተ ተማምኛለሁና አልዋረድ፤ አልፈር፡፡ BSB BSB: Guard my soul and deliver me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in You.
21 ULB አንተን ተስፋ አድርጌአለሁና ታማኝነትና ቅንነት ይጠብቁኝ BSB BSB: May integrity and uprightness preserve me, because I wait for You.
22 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ እስራኤልን ከመከራው ሁሉ አድነው፡፡ BSB BSB: Redeem Israel, O God, from all its distress.
