1 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ በቁጣህ አትገሥጸኝ በመዓትህም አትቅጣኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: A Psalm of David, for remembrance. O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger or discipline me in Your wrath.
2 ULB ፍላጻዎችህ ወግተውኛልና እጅህ ተጭናኛለች፡፡ BSB BSB: For Your arrows have pierced me deeply, and Your hand has pressed down on me.
3 ULB ከቁጣህ የተነሣ መላው አካሌ ታመመ ከኃጢአቴ የተነሣም ዐጥንቶቼ ጤና የላቸውም፡፡ BSB BSB: There is no soundness in my body because of Your anger; there is no rest in my bones because of my sin.
4 ULB በደሌ ውጦኛል እንደ ከባድ ሸክምም ተጭኖኛል፡፡ BSB BSB: For my iniquities have overwhelmed me; they are a burden too heavy to bear.
5 ULB በሞኝነት ካደረግሁት የተነሣ ቁስሌ መገለ፤ ሸተተም፡፡ BSB BSB: My wounds are foul and festering because of my sinful folly.
6 ULB ጐበጥሁ፤ በየቀኑም እያጐነበስኩ ሄድሁ ቀኑን ሙሉ በትካዜ ዋልሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: I am bent and brought low; all day long I go about mourning.
7 ULB ውስጤ እንደ እሳት ይቃጠላል ሥጋዬም ጤና የለውም፡፡ BSB BSB: For my loins are full of burning pain, and no soundness remains in my body.
8 ULB እንደ ዲዳ ሆንሁ፤ ፈጽሞም ደቀቅሁ ከልቤ ምሬት የተነሣ እቃትታለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: I am numb and badly crushed; I groan in anguish of heart.
9 ULB ጌታ ሆይ፣ የጥልቅ ልቤን ናፍቆት አንተ ታውቃለህ መቃተቴም ከአንተ የተሰወረ አይደለም፡፡ BSB BSB: O Lord, my every desire is before You; my groaning is not hidden from You.
10 ULB ልቤ በኃይል ይመታል፤ ጉልበት ከድቶኛል የዐይኔም ብርሃን ፈዝዞአል፡፡ BSB BSB: My heart pounds, my strength fails, and even the light of my eyes has faded.
11 ULB ካለሁበት ሁኔታ የተነሣ፣ ወዳጆቼም ባልንጀሮቼም ሸሹኝ ጐረቤቶቼም ርቀው ቆሙ፡፡ BSB BSB: My beloved and friends shun my disease, and my kinsmen stand at a distance.
12 ULB ሕይወቴን ማጥፋት የሚወዱ ወጥመድ ዘረጉብኝ ሊጐዱኝ የሚፈልጉም በዛቻ ተናገሩኝ፤ በእኔም ላይ ቀኑን ሙሉ ያሤራሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: Those who seek my life lay snares; those who wish me harm speak destruction, plotting deceit all day long.
13 ULB እኔ ግን እንደማይሰማ ደንቆሮ ምንም መናገር እንደማይችል ዲዳ ሰው ሆንሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: But like a deaf man, I do not hear; and like a mute man, I do not open my mouth.
14 ULB ጆሮው እንደማይሰማ አንደበቱም መልስ መስጠት እንደማይችል ሰው ሆንሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: I am like a man who cannot hear, whose mouth offers no reply.
15 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ በፍጹም ልቤ አንተን እጠብቃለሁ ጌታ ሆይ፣ አንተ መልስ ትሰጠኛለህ፡፡ BSB BSB: I wait for You, O LORD; You will answer, O Lord my God.
16 ULB ይህን የምለው ጠላቶቼ በእኔ ላይ ደስ እንዳይላቸው ነው፤ እግሬ ቢንሸራተት ክፉ ነገር ያደርጉብኛል፡፡ BSB BSB: For I said, “Let them not gloat over me—those who taunt me when my foot slips.”
17 ULB ልወድቅ ተቃርቤአለሁ ሕመሜም ፋታ አልሰጠኝም፡፡ BSB BSB: For I am ready to fall, and my pain is ever with me.
18 ULB በደሌን እናዘዛለሁ ኃጢአቴም አስጨንቆኛል፡፡ BSB BSB: Yes, I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.
19 ULB ጠላቶቼ እጅግ ብዙ ናቸው ያለ ምክንያት የሚጠሉንም በዝተዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: Many are my enemies without cause, and many hate me without reason.
20 ULB በመልካም ፈንታ ክፉ መለሱልኝ መልሙን እየተከተልሁ ቢሆንም፣ እነርሱ ግን እኔ ላይ የሐሰት ክስ ደረደሩ፡፡ BSB BSB: Those who repay my good with evil attack me for pursuing the good.
21 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ አትተወኝ አምላኬ ሆይ፣ ከእኔ አትራቅ BSB BSB: Do not forsake me, O LORD; be not far from me, O my God.
22 ULB ጌታ መድኃኒቴ እኔን ለመርዳት ፍጠን፡፡ BSB BSB: Come quickly to help me, O Lord my Savior.
