1. 1ULBእግዚአብሔር ሆይ፣ ድምፄን ስማ የብሶቴን ቃል አድምጥ፤ ከሚያስፈራ የጠላት ዛቻ ሕይወቴን አድናትBSBBSB: For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. Hear, O God, my voice of complaint; preserve my life from dread of the enemy.
2. 2ULBከክፉ አድራጊዎች ዐድማ ሰውረኝ ከዐመፀኞችም ሤራ አድነኝ፡፡BSBBSB: Hide me from the scheming of the wicked, from the mob of workers of iniquity,
3. 3ULBእነርሱ ምላሳቸውን እንደ ሰይፍ ስለዋል መርዘኛ ቃላቸውንም እንደ ፍላጻ ያነጣጥራሉBSBBSB: who sharpen their tongues like swords and aim their bitter words like arrows,
4. 4ULBካሸመቁበት ቦታ ሆነው ንጹሑን ሰው ይነደፋታል ድንገት ይነድፉታል፤ አይፈሩምም፡፡BSBBSB: ambushing the innocent in seclusion, shooting suddenly, without fear.
5. 5ULBክፉ ዕቅድ ለማውጣት እርስ በርስ ይመካከራሉ፤ ወጥመድ ለመዘርጋትም በምስጢር ይነጋገራሉ፤ «ማንስ ሊያድን ይችላል?» ይባባላሉ፡፡BSBBSB: They hold fast to their evil purpose; they speak of hiding their snares. “Who will see them?” they say.
6. 6ULBእነርሱ ክፉ ዕቅድ አወጡ፤ በሐሳባቸውም፣ «በጥንቃቄ ዕቅድ አውጥተናል» ይላሉ፡፡ የሰው ሐሳብና ልብ በጣም ጥልቅ ነው፡፡BSBBSB: They devise injustice and say, “We have perfected a secret plan.” For the inner man and the heart are mysterious.
7. 7ULBእግዚአብሔር ግን በፍላጻው ይነድፋቸዋል እነርሱም በድንገት ይቆስላሉ፡፡BSBBSB: But God will shoot them with arrows; suddenly they will be wounded.
8. 8ULBበገዛ ምላሳቸው ያሰናክላቸዋል ጥፋትንም ያመጣባቸዋል የሚያዩአቸው ሁሉ በመገረም ራሳቸውን ይነቀንቃሉ፡፡BSBBSB: They will be made to stumble, their own tongues turned against them. All who see will shake their heads.
9. 9ULBየሰው ልጆች ሁሉ ይፈራሉ የእግዚብሔር ያደረገውንም በይፋ ይናገራሉ፡፡BSBBSB: Then all mankind will fear and proclaim the work of God; so they will ponder what He has done.
10. 10ULBጻድቅ በያህዌ ደስ ይለዋል፤ እርሱንም መጠጊያው ያደርጋል ልበ ቅኖችም ሁሉ በእርሱ ይመካሉ፡፡BSBBSB: Let the righteous rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in Him; let all the upright in heart exult.
