1 ULB ያህዌ አምላኬ ሆይ፣ አንተ መጠጊያዬ ነህ! ከሚያሳድዱኝ ሁሉ አድነኝ ታደገኝም BSB BSB: A Shiggaion of David, which he sang to the LORD concerning the words of Cush, a Benjamite. O LORD my God, I take refuge in You; save me and deliver me from all my pursuers,
2 ULB አለበለዚያ እንደ አንበሳ ይዘነጣጥሉኛል የሚያድነኝ በሌለበት ሁኔታ ያደቁኛል፡፡ BSB BSB: or they will shred my soul like a lion and tear me to pieces with no one to rescue me.
3 ULB አምላኬ ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ጠላቶቼ አድርጓል የሚሉትን አላደረግሁም በእኔ ላይ ምንም በደል የለም፡፡ BSB BSB: O LORD my God, if I have done this, if injustice is on my hands,
4 ULB በጐ ለዋለልኝ ክፉ አልመለስሁም፡፡ጠላቶቼን በከንቱ አልጐዳሁም፡፡ BSB BSB: if I have rewarded my ally with evil, if I have plundered my foe without cause,
5 ULB የምናገረው እውነት ካልሆነ ጠላቴ አሳድዶ ይያዘኝ ሕይወቴን ከምድር ይቀላቅል ክብሬንም ከትቢያ ጋር ይደበልቅ፡፡ ሴላ BSB BSB: then may my enemy pursue me and overtake me; may he trample me to the ground and leave my honor in the dust. Selah
6 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ በቁጣህ ተነሥ በጠላቶቼ ዛቻ ፍረድ አምላኬ ሆይ ንቃ ትእዛዝም አስተላልፍ፡፡ BSB BSB: Arise, O LORD, in Your anger; rise up against the fury of my enemies. Awake, my God, and ordain judgment.
7 ULB ሕዝቦችን ሁሉ በዙሪያህ ሰብስብ ከላይም ሆነህ ግዛቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Let the assembled peoples gather around You; take Your seat over them on high.
8 ULB ያህዌ በሕዝቦች ላይ ይፈርዳል ያህዌ ሆይ፣ እንደ ጽድቄ ፍረድልኝ ልዑል ሆይ፣ እንደ ንጽሕናዬ መልስልኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: The LORD judges the peoples; vindicate me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and integrity.
9 ULB ልብንና አእምሮን የምትመረምር ጻድቅ አምላክ ሆይ፣ የክፉዎችን ዐመፅ አጥፉ፤ ጻድቃንን ግን አጽና፡፡ BSB BSB: Put an end to the evil of the wicked, but establish the righteous, O righteous God who searches hearts and minds.
10 ULB ጋሻዬ ልዑል እግዚአብሔር ነው፤ እርሱ ልበ ቅኖችን ያድናቸዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
11 ULB እግዚአብሔር ጻድቅ ዳኛ ነው፤ ቁጣውንም በየዕለቱ የሚገልጥ አምላክ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: God is a righteous judge and a God who feels indignation each day.
12 ULB ሰው በንስሐ የማይመለስ ከሆነ እግዚአብሔር ሰይፉን ይስላል፤ ለውጊያም ቀስቱን ይገትራል BSB BSB: If one does not repent, God will sharpen His sword; He has bent and strung His bow.
13 ULB የሚገደሉ ጦር ዕቃዎቹን አዘጋጅቷል የሚንበለበሉትን ፍላጻዎቹንም አሰናድቶአል፡፡ BSB BSB: He has prepared His deadly weapons; He ordains His arrows with fire.
14 ULB ክፋትን ያረገዘ፣ ክፉ ዕቅዶችን የፀነሰና አጥፊ ሐሰቶችን የወለደ ሰውን አስቡ፡፡ BSB BSB: Behold, the wicked man travails with evil; he conceives trouble and births falsehood.
15 ULB ጥልቅ ጉድጓድ ይቆፍራል በቆፈረው ጉድጓድ እርሱ ይገባበታል፡፡ BSB BSB: He has dug a hole and hollowed it out; he has fallen into a pit of his own making.
16 ULB ለሌሎች ያዘጋጀው ክፉ ዕቅድ ወደ ራሱ ይመለሳል፤ ዐመፃውም በገዛ ዐናቱ ላይ ይወርዳል፡፡ BSB BSB: His trouble recoils on himself, and his violence falls on his own head.
17 ULB ስለ ጽድቁ ያህዌን አመሰግናለሁ ለልዑል አምላክም እዘምራለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: I will thank the LORD for His righteousness and sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
