1 ULB የበቀል አምላክ አንተ ያህዌ ሆይ፣ የበቀል አምላክ ሆይ፣ ብርሃንህ ይብራልን፡፡ BSB BSB: O LORD, God of vengeance, O God of vengeance, shine forth.
2 ULB የምድር ዳኛ ሆይ፣ ተነሥ ለትዕቢተኞች የእጃቸውን ስጣቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Rise up, O Judge of the earth; render a reward to the proud.
3 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ክፉዎች እስከ መቼ፣ ክፉዎች እስከ መቼ ነው የሚፈነጩት? BSB BSB: How long will the wicked, O LORD, how long will the wicked exult?
4 ULB የእብሪት ቃሎች ያዥጐደጉዳሉ ክፉ አድራጊዎችም ሁሉ ጉራ ይነዛሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: They pour out arrogant words; all workers of iniquity boast.
5 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ሕዝብህን ያደቅቃሉ የአንተን ወገኖች ይጨቁናሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: They crush Your people, O LORD; they oppress Your heritage.
6 ULB በአገራቸው የሚኖሩ መበለቶችንና መጻተኞችን ይገድላሉ፤ BSB BSB: They kill the widow and the foreigner; they murder the fatherless.
7 ULB «ያህዌ አያይም፤ የያዕቆብ አምላክም አያስተውልም» ይላሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: They say, “The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob pays no heed.”
8 ULB እናንት አላዋቂዎች ይህን አስተውሉ፤ እናንት ሞኞች ለመሆኑ፣ ጥበበኞች የምትሆኑት መቼ ነው? BSB BSB: Take notice, O senseless among the people! O fools, when will you be wise?
9 ULB ጆሮን የተከለ እርሱ አይሰማምን? ዐይንን የሠራ እርሱ አያይምን? BSB BSB: He who affixed the ear, can He not hear? He who formed the eye, can He not see?
10 ULB ሕዝቦችን የሚገሥጸው አይቀጣምን? ለሰው ዕውቀት የሚሰጥ እርሱ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: He who admonishes the nations, does He not discipline? He who teaches man, does He lack knowledge?
11 ULB ያህዌ የሰው ሐሳብ ከንቱ እንደ ሆነ ያውቃል፡፡ BSB BSB: The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.
12 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ አንተ የምትገሥጸው ሕግህንም የምታስተምረው ሰው ቡሩክ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: Blessed is the man You discipline, O LORD, and teach from Your law,
13 ULB ለክፉዎች ጉድጓድ እስኪቆፈር ድረስ አንተ እርሱን ከመከራ ታሳርፈዋለህ፡፡ BSB BSB: to grant him relief from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked.
14 ULB ያህዌ ሕዝቡን አይጥልምና ርስቱንም አይተውም፡፡ BSB BSB: For the LORD will not forsake His people; He will never abandon His heritage.
15 ULB ፍርድ ተመልሶ በጽድቅ አሠራር ላይ ይመሠረታል ልበ ቀናዎችም ሁሉ ይከተሉታል፡፡ BSB BSB: Surely judgment will again be righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.
16 ULB ክፉዎችን የሚቋቋምልኝ ማን ነው? ከክፉ አድራጊዎች የሚሟገትልንስ ማን ነው? BSB BSB: Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 ULB ያህዌ ረዳቴ ባይሆን ኖሮ ፈጥኜ ወደ ዝምታው ዓለም በወረድሁ ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: Unless the LORD had been my helper, I would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence.
18 ULB እኔ፣ «እግሬን አዳለጠኝ» ባልሁ ጊዜ ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ምሕረትህ ደግፎ ያዘኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: If I say, “My foot is slipping,” Your loving devotion, O LORD, supports me.
19 ULB ሐዘኔ በበዛ ጊዜ፣ ማጽናናትህ ደስ አሰኘኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: When anxiety overwhelms me, Your consolation delights my soul.
20 ULB ዓመፅን ሕጋዊ የሚያደርግ የጥፋት ዙፋን ከአንተ ጋር ሊያብር ይችላልን? BSB BSB: Can a corrupt throne be Your ally—one devising mischief by decree?
21 ULB ጻድቃንን ለማጥፋት ያሤራሉ በንጹሐን ሰዎች ላይ የሞት ፍርድ ይበይናሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.
22 ULB ለእኔ ግን ያህዌ ጠንካራ ምሽግ አምላኬም መጠጊያ ዐለት ሆኖኛል፡፡ BSB BSB: But the LORD has been my stronghold, and my God is my rock of refuge.
23 ULB ኃጢአታቸውን ወደ ራሳቸው ይመልሳል በገዛ ክፋታቸውም ያጠፋቸዋል፡፡ ያህዌ አምላካችን ይደመስሳቸዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: He will bring upon them their own iniquity and destroy them for their wickedness. The LORD our God will destroy them.
