Psalm 111 111 Psalms Book 5 Arabic Simplified Text 1 ARST Praise Yahweh! I will thank Yahweh with my entire inner being every time that those who do what is right come together. BSB BSB: Hallelujah! I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.
2 ARST The things that Yahweh has done are wonderful! All those who are delighted with those things desire to study them. BSB BSB: Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them.
3 ARST Because he is a great king and does wonderful things, people greatly honor him and respect him; the righteous things that he does will endure forever. BSB BSB: Splendid and majestic is His work; His righteousness endures forever.
4 ARST He has done wonderful things that people will always remember; Yahweh always acts kindly and mercifully. BSB BSB: He has caused His wonders to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and compassionate.
5 ARST He provides food for those who have an awesome respect for him; he never forgets the covenant that he made with our ancestors. BSB BSB: He provides food for those who fear Him; He remembers His covenant forever.
6 ARST By enabling his people to capture the lands that belonged to other people groups, he has shown to us, his people, that he is very powerful. BSB BSB: He has shown His people the power of His works by giving them the inheritance of the nations.
7 ARST He does everything fairly, as he has promised us, and we can depend on him to help us when he commands us to do things. BSB BSB: The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His precepts are trustworthy.
8 ARST What he commands must be obeyed forever; and he acted in a true and righteous manner when he gave us those commands. BSB BSB: They are upheld forever and ever, enacted in truth and uprightness.
9 ARST He rescued us, his people, from being slaves in Egypt, and he made a covenant with us that will last forever. He is holy and awesome! BSB BSB: He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained His covenant forever; holy and awesome is His name.
10 ARST Having an awesome respect for Yahweh is the way to become wise. All those who obey his commands will know what is good for them to decide to do. We should praise him forever! BSB BSB: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts gain rich understanding. His praise endures forever!
