Psalm 13 13 Psalms Book 1 Arabic Simplified Text 2 ARST How long must I endure anguish within myself? Must I be miserable every day? How long will my enemies continue to defeat me? BSB BSB: How long must I wrestle in my soul, with sorrow in my heart each day? How long will my enemy dominate me?
ARST Yahweh my God, look at me and answer me. Restore my strength, or I will die. BSB BSB: Consider me and respond, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death,
ARST Do not allow my enemies to boast and to say,“We have defeated him!” Do not allow them to defeat me, with the result that they will rejoice about it! BSB BSB: lest my enemy say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes rejoice when I fall.
ARST But I trust that you will faithfully love me; I will rejoice when you rescue me. BSB BSB: But I have trusted in Your loving devotion; my heart will rejoice in Your salvation.
ARST Yahweh, you have done many good things for me, so I will sing to you. BSB BSB: I will sing to the LORD, for He has been good to me.
