Psalm 130 130 Psalms Book 5 Arabic Simplified Text 1 ARST Yahweh, I have great troubles, so I call out to you. BSB BSB: A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to You, O LORD!
ARST Yahweh, hear me while I call out to you to have mercy on me! BSB BSB: O Lord, hear my voice; let Your ears be attentive to my plea for mercy.
ARST Yahweh, if you kept a record of the sins that we have committed, not one of us would escape from being condemned and punished! BSB BSB: If You, O LORD, kept track of iniquities, then who, O Lord, could stand?
ARST But you forgive us, with the result that we have an awesome respect for you. BSB BSB: But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be feared.
ARST Yahweh has said that he would help me; I trust what he said, and I wait eagerly for him to do that. BSB BSB: I wait for the LORD; my soul does wait, and in His word I put my hope.
ARST I wait for Yahweh to help me more than watchmen wait for the morning to come; yes, I wait more eagerly than they do! BSB BSB: My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning—more than watchmen wait for the morning.
ARST You, my fellow Israelites, confidently expect that Yahweh will bless us. He will bless us because he has mercy on us, and he is very willing to save us. BSB BSB: O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is loving devotion, and with Him is redemption in abundance.
ARST It is he who will save us Israelite people from being punished for all the sins that we have committed. BSB BSB: And He will redeem Israel from all iniquity.
