Psalm 70 70 Psalms Book 2 Arabic Simplified Text 1 ARST God, please save me! Yahweh, come quickly to help me! BSB BSB: For the choirmaster. Of David. To bring remembrance. Make haste, O God, to deliver me! Hurry, O LORD, to help me!
ARST Disgrace those who are happy about my troubles, those who are trying to kill me. Chase them away; make everyone shame them, for they want to see me suffer. BSB BSB: May those who seek my life be ashamed and confounded; may those who wish me harm be repelled and humiliated.
ARST I hope that you will cause them to become dismayed and ashamed because they have been happy about my troubles. BSB BSB: May those who say, “Aha, aha!” retreat because of their shame.
ARST But I hope that everyone who prays to you will rejoice because of you. I hope that everyone who waits for you to rescue them will say,“God is great!” BSB BSB: May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; may those who love Your salvation always say, “Let God be magnified!”
ARST As for me, I am poor and needy; so God, come quickly to help me! Yahweh, you are the one who saves and helps me, so please come quickly! BSB BSB: But I am poor and needy; hurry to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.
