1 GLT «وَهَذَا مَا تَصْنَعُهُ لَهُمْ لِتَقْدِيسِهِمْ لِيَكْهَنُوا لِي: خُذْ ثَوْرًا وَاحِدًا ٱبْنَ بَقَرٍ، وَكَبْشَيْنِ صَحِيحَيْنِ، BSB BSB: “Now this is what you are to do to consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve Me as priests: Take a young bull and two rams without blemish,
2 GLT وَخُبْزَ فَطِيرٍ، وَأَقْرَاصَ فَطِيرٍ مَلْتُوتَةً بِزَيْتٍ، وَرُقَاقَ فَطِيرٍ مَدْهُونَةً بِزَيْتٍ. مِنْ دَقِيقِ حِنْطَةٍ تَصْنَعُهَا. BSB BSB: along with unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil. Make them out of fine wheat flour,
3 GLT وَتَجْعَلُهَا فِي سَلَّةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ، وَتُقَدِّمُهَا فِي ٱلسَّلَّةِ مَعَ ٱلثَّوْرِ وَٱلْكَبْشَيْنِ. BSB BSB: put them in a basket, and present them in the basket, along with the bull and the two rams.
4 GLT «وَتُقَدِّمُ هَارُونَ وَبَنِيهِ إِلَى بَابِ خَيْمَةِ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ وَتَغْسِلُهُمْ بِمَاءٍ. BSB BSB: Then present Aaron and his sons at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water.
5 GLT وَتَأْخُذُ ٱلثِّيَابَ وَتُلْبِسُ هَارُونَ ٱلْقَمِيصَ وَجُبَّةَ ٱلرِّدَاءِ وَٱلرِّدَاءَ وَٱلصُّدْرَةَ، وَتَشُدُّهُ بِزُنَّارِ ٱلرِّدَاءِ، BSB BSB: Take the garments and clothe Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod itself, and the breastplate. Fasten the ephod on him with its woven waistband.
6 GLT وَتَضَعُ ٱلْعِمَامَةَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ، وَتَجْعَلُ ٱلْإِكْلِيلَ ٱلْمُقَدَّسَ عَلَى ٱلْعِمَامَةِ، BSB BSB: Put the turban on his head and attach the holy diadem to the turban.
7 GLT وَتَأْخُذُ دُهْنَ ٱلْمَسْحَةِ وَتَسْكُبُهُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَتَمْسَحُهُ. BSB BSB: Then take the anointing oil and anoint him by pouring it on his head.
8 GLT وَتُقَدِّمُ بَنِيهِ وَتُلْبِسُهُمْ أَقْمِصَةً. BSB BSB: Present his sons as well and clothe them with tunics.
9 GLT وَتُنَطِّقُهُمْ بِمَنَاطِقَ، هَارُونَ وَبَنِيهِ، وَتَشُدُّ لَهُمْ قَلَانِسَ. فَيَكُونُ لَهُمْ كَهَنُوتٌ فَرِيضَةً أَبَدِيَّةً. وَتَمْلَأُ يَدَ هَارُونَ وَأَيْدِيَ بَنِيهِ. BSB BSB: Wrap the sashes around Aaron and his sons and tie headbands on them. The priesthood shall be theirs by a permanent statute. In this way you are to ordain Aaron and his sons.
10 GLT «وَتُقَدِّمُ ٱلثَّوْرَ إِلَى قُدَّامِ خَيْمَةِ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ، فَيَضَعُ هَارُونُ وَبَنُوهُ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَلَى رَأْسِ ٱلثَّوْرِ. BSB BSB: You are to present the bull at the front of the Tent of Meeting, and Aaron and his sons are to lay their hands on its head.
11 GLT فَتَذْبَحُ ٱلثَّوْرَ أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ عِنْدَ بَابِ خَيْمَةِ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ. BSB BSB: And you shall slaughter the bull before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
12 GLT وَتَأْخُذُ مِنْ دَمِ ٱلثَّوْرِ وَتَجْعَلُهُ عَلَى قُرُونِ ٱلْمَذْبَحِ بِإِصْبِعِكَ، وَسَائِرَ ٱلدَّمِ تَصُبُّهُ إِلَى أَسْفَلِ ٱلْمَذْبَحِ. BSB BSB: Take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; then pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.
13 GLT وَتَأْخُذُ كُلَّ ٱلشَّحْمِ ٱلَّذِي يُغَشِّي ٱلْجَوْفَ، وَزِيَادَةَ ٱلْكَبِدِ وَٱلْكُلْيَتَيْنِ وَٱلشَّحْمَ ٱلَّذِي عَلَيْهِمَا، وَتُوقِدُهَا عَلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ. BSB BSB: Take all the fat that covers the entrails and the lobe of the liver, and both kidneys with the fat on them, and burn them on the altar.
14 GLT وَأَمَّا لَحْمُ ٱلثَّوْرِ وَجِلْدُهُ وَفَرْثُهُ فَتَحْرِقُهَا بِنَارٍ خَارِجَ ٱلْمَحَلَّةِ. هُوَ ذَبِيحَةُ خَطِيَّةٍ. BSB BSB: But burn the flesh of the bull and its hide and dung outside the camp; it is a sin offering.
15 GLT «وَتَأْخُذُ ٱلْكَبْشَ ٱلْوَاحِدَ، فَيَضَعُ هَارُونُ وَبَنُوهُ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَلَى رَأْسِ ٱلْكَبْشِ. BSB BSB: Take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.
16 GLT فَتَذْبَحُ ٱلْكَبْشَ وَتَأْخُذُ دَمَهُ وَتَرُشُّهُ عَلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ مِنْ كُلِّ نَاحِيَةٍ. BSB BSB: You are to slaughter the ram, take its blood, and splatter it on all sides of the altar.
17 GLT وَتَقْطَعُ ٱلْكَبْشَ إِلَى قِطَعِهِ، وَتَغْسِلُ جَوْفَهُ وَأَكَارِعَهُ وَتَجْعَلُهَا عَلَى قِطَعِهِ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ، BSB BSB: Cut the ram into pieces, wash the entrails and legs, and place them with its head and other pieces.
18 GLT وَتُوقِدُ كُلَّ ٱلْكَبْشِ عَلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ. هُوَ مُحْرَقَةٌ لِلرَّبِّ. رَائِحَةُ سَرُورٍ، وَقُودٌ هُوَ لِلرَّبِّ. BSB BSB: Then burn the entire ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering to the LORD, a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.
19 GLT «وَتَأْخُذُ ٱلْكَبْشَ ٱلثَّانِي، فَيَضَعُ هَارُونُ وَبَنُوهُ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَلَى رَأْسِ ٱلْكَبْشِ. BSB BSB: Take the second ram, and Aaron and his sons are to lay their hands on its head.
20 GLT فَتَذْبَحُ ٱلْكَبْشَ وَتَأْخُذُ مِنْ دَمِهِ وَتَجْعَلُ عَلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذُنِ هَارُونَ، وَعَلَى شَحْمِ آذَانِ بَنِيهِ ٱلْيُمْنَى، وَعَلَى أَبَاهِمِ أَيْدِيهِمِ ٱلْيُمْنَى، وَعَلَى أَبَاهِمِ أَرْجُلِهِمِ ٱلْيُمْنَى. وَتَرُشُّ ٱلدَّمَ عَلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ مِنْ كُلِّ نَاحِيَةٍ. BSB BSB: Slaughter the ram, take some of its blood, and put it on the right earlobes of Aaron and his sons, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. Splatter the remaining blood on all sides of the altar.
21 GLT وَتَأْخُذُ مِنَ ٱلدَّمِ ٱلَّذِي عَلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ وَمِنْ دُهْنِ ٱلْمَسْحَةِ، وَتَنْضِحُ عَلَى هَارُونَ وَثِيَابِهِ، وَعَلَى بَنِيهِ وَثِيَابِ بَنِيهِ مَعَهُ، فَيَتَقَدَّسُ هُوَ وَثِيَابُهُ وَبَنُوهُ وَثِيَابُ بَنِيهِ مَعَهُ. BSB BSB: And take some of the blood on the altar and some of the anointing oil and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments, as well as on his sons and their garments. Then he and his garments will be consecrated, as well as his sons and their garments.
22 GLT ثُمَّ تَأْخُذُ مِنَ ٱلْكَبْشِ: ٱلشَّحْمَ وَٱلْإِلْيَةَ وَٱلشَّحْمَ ٱلَّذِي يُغَشِّي ٱلْجَوْفَ، وَزِيَادَةَ ٱلْكَبِدِ وَٱلْكُلْيَتَيْنِ، وَٱلشَّحْمَ ٱلَّذِي عَلَيْهِمَا، وَٱلسَّاقَ ٱلْيُمْنَى. فَإِنَّهُ كَبْشُ مِلْءٍ. BSB BSB: Take the fat from the ram, the fat tail, the fat covering the entrails, the lobe of the liver, both kidneys with the fat on them, and the right thigh (since this is a ram for ordination),
23 GLT وَرَغِيفًا وَاحِدًا مِنَ ٱلْخُبْزِ، وَقُرْصًا وَاحِدًا مِنَ ٱلْخُبْزِ بِزَيْتٍ، وَرُقَاقَةً وَاحِدَةً مِنْ سَلَّةِ ٱلْفَطِيرِ ٱلَّتِي أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ. BSB BSB: along with one loaf of bread, one cake of bread made with oil, and one wafer from the basket of unleavened bread that is before the LORD.
24 GLT وَتَضَعُ ٱلْجَمِيعَ فِي يَدَيْ هَارُونَ وَفِي أَيْدِي بَنِيهِ، وَتُرَدِّدُهَا تَرْدِيدًا أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ. BSB BSB: Put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and wave them before the LORD as a wave offering.
25 GLT ثُمَّ تَأْخُذُهَا مِنْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتُوقِدُهَا عَلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ فَوْقَ ٱلْمُحْرَقَةِ رَائِحَةَ سَرُورٍ أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ. وَقُودٌ هُوَ لِلرَّبِّ. BSB BSB: Then take them from their hands and burn them on the altar atop the burnt offering as a pleasing aroma before the LORD; it is a food offering to the LORD.
26 GLT «ثُمَّ تَأْخُذُ ٱلْقَصَّ مِنْ كَبْشِ ٱلْمِلْءِ ٱلَّذِي لِهَارُونَ، وَتُرَدِّدُهُ تَرْدِيدًا أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ، فَيَكُونُ لَكَ نَصِيبًا. BSB BSB: Take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s ordination and wave it before the LORD as a wave offering, and it will be your portion.
27 GLT وَتُقَدِّسُ قَصَّ ٱلتَّرْدِيدِ وَسَاقَ ٱلرَّفِيعَةِ ٱلَّذِي رُدِّدَ وَٱلَّذِي رُفِعَ مِنْ كَبْشِ ٱلْمِلْءِ مِمَّا لِهَارُونَ وَلِبَنِيهِ، BSB BSB: Consecrate for Aaron and his sons the breast of the wave offering that is waved and the thigh of the heave offering that is lifted up from the ram of ordination.
28 GLT فَيَكُونَانِ لِهَارُونَ وَبَنِيهِ فَرِيضَةً أَبَدِيَّةً مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لِأَنَّهُمَا رَفِيعَةٌ. وَيَكُونَانِ رَفِيعَةً مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ ذَبَائِحِ سَلَامَتِهِمْ، رَفِيعَتَهُمْ لِلرَّبِّ. BSB BSB: This will belong to Aaron and his sons as a regular portion from the Israelites, for it is the heave offering the Israelites will make to the LORD from their peace offerings.
29 GLT «وَٱلثِّيَابُ ٱلْمُقَدَّسَةُ ٱلَّتِي لِهَارُونَ تَكُونُ لِبَنِيهِ بَعْدَهُ، لِيُمْسَحُوا فِيهَا، وَلِتُمْلَأَ فِيهَا أَيْدِيهِمْ. BSB BSB: The holy garments that belong to Aaron will belong to his sons after him, so they can be anointed and ordained in them.
30 GLT سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ يَلْبَسُهَا ٱلْكَاهِنُ ٱلَّذِي هُوَ عِوَضٌ عَنْهُ مِنْ بَنِيهِ، ٱلَّذِي يَدْخُلُ خَيْمَةَ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ لِيَخْدِمَ فِي ٱلْقُدْسِ. BSB BSB: The son who succeeds him as priest and enters the Tent of Meeting to minister in the Holy Place must wear them for seven days.
31 GLT «وَأَمَّا كَبْشُ ٱلْمِلْءِ فَتَأْخُذُهُ وَتَطْبُخُ لَحْمَهُ فِي مَكَانٍ مُقَدَّسٍ. BSB BSB: You are to take the ram of ordination and boil its flesh in a holy place.
32 GLT فَيَأْكُلُ هَارُونُ وَبَنُوهُ لَحْمَ ٱلْكَبْشِ وَٱلْخُبْزَ ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلسَّلَّةِ عِنْدَ بَابِ خَيْمَةِ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ. BSB BSB: At the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that is in the basket.
33 GLT يَأْكُلُهَا ٱلَّذِينَ كُفِّرَ بِهَا عَنْهُمْ لِمِلْءِ أَيْدِيهِمْ لِتَقْدِيسِهِمْ. وَأَمَّا ٱلْأَجْنَبِيُّ فَلَا يَأْكُلُ لِأَنَّهَا مُقَدَّسَةٌ. BSB BSB: They must eat those things by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no outsider may eat them, because these things are sacred.
34 GLT وَإِنْ بَقِيَ شَيْءٌ مِنْ لَحْمِ ٱلْمِلْءِ أَوْ مِنَ ٱلْخُبْزِ إِلَى ٱلصَّبَاحِ، تُحْرِقُ ٱلْبَاقِيَ بِٱلنَّارِ. لَا يُؤْكَلُ لِأَنَّهُ مُقَدَّسٌ. BSB BSB: And if any of the meat of ordination or any bread is left until the morning, you are to burn up the remainder. It must not be eaten, because it is sacred.
35 GLT وَتَصْنَعُ لِهَارُونَ وَبَنِيهِ هَكَذَا بِحَسَبِ كُلِّ مَا أَمَرْتُكَ. سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ تَمْلَأُ أَيْدِيَهُمْ. BSB BSB: This is what you are to do for Aaron and his sons based on all that I have commanded you, taking seven days to ordain them.
36 GLT وَتُقَدِّمُ ثَوْرَ خَطِيَّةٍ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ لِأَجْلِ ٱلْكَفَّارَةِ. وَتُطَهِّرُ ٱلْمَذْبَحَ بِتَكْفِيرِكَ عَلَيْهِ، وَتَمْسَحُهُ لِتَقْدِيسِهِ. BSB BSB: Sacrifice a bull as a sin offering each day for atonement. Purify the altar by making atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrate it.
37 GLT سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ تُكَفِّرُ عَلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ وَتُقَدِّسُهُ، فَيَكُونُ ٱلْمَذْبَحُ قُدْسَ أَقْدَاسٍ. كُلُّ مَا مَسَّ ٱلْمَذْبَحَ يَكُونُ مُقَدَّسًا. BSB BSB: For seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will become most holy; whatever touches the altar will be holy.
38 GLT «وَهَذَا مَا تُقَدِّمُهُ عَلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ: خَرُوفَانِ حَوْلِيَّانِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ دَائِمًا. BSB BSB: This is what you are to offer regularly on the altar, each day: two lambs that are a year old.
39 GLT ٱلْخَرُوفُ ٱلْوَاحِدُ تُقَدِّمُهُ صَبَاحًا، وَٱلْخَرُوفُ ٱلثَّانِي تُقَدِّمُهُ فِي ٱلْعَشِيَّةِ. BSB BSB: Offer one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight.
40 GLT وَعُشْرٌ مِنْ دَقِيقٍ مَلْتُوتٍ بِرُبْعِ ٱلْهِينِ مِنْ زَيْتِ ٱلرَّضِّ، وَسَكِيبٌ رُبْعُ ٱلْهِينِ مِنَ ٱلْخَمْرِ لِلْخَرُوفِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ. BSB BSB: With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with a quarter hin of oil from pressed olives, and a drink offering of a quarter hin of wine.
41 GLT وَٱلْخَرُوفُ ٱلثَّانِي تُقَدِّمُهُ فِي ٱلْعَشِيَّةِ. مِثْلَ تَقْدِمَةِ ٱلصَّبَاحِ وَسَكِيبِهِ تَصْنَعُ لَهُ. رَائِحَةُ سَرُورٍ، وَقُودٌ لِلرَّبِّ. BSB BSB: And offer the second lamb at twilight with the same grain offering and drink offering as in the morning, as a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.
42 GLT مُحْرَقَةٌ دَائِمَةٌ فِي أَجْيَالِكُمْ عِنْدَ بَابِ خَيْمَةِ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ، حَيْثُ أَجْتَمِعُ بِكُمْ لِأُكَلِّمَكَ هُنَاكَ. BSB BSB: For the generations to come, this burnt offering shall be made regularly at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the LORD, where I will meet you to speak with you.
43 GLT وَأَجْتَمِعُ هُنَاكَ بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَيُقَدَّسُ بِمَجْدِي. BSB BSB: I will also meet with the Israelites there, and that place will be consecrated by My glory.
44 GLT وَأُقَدِّسُ خَيْمَةَ الِٱجْتِمَاعِ وَٱلْمَذْبَحَ، وَهَارُونُ وَبَنُوهُ أُقَدِّسُهُمْ لِكَيْ يَكْهَنُوا لِي. BSB BSB: So I will consecrate the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and I will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve Me as priests.
45 GLT وَأَسْكُنُ فِي وَسَطِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَكُونُ لَهُمْ إِلَهًا، BSB BSB: Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God.
46 GLT فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي أَنَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُهُمُ ٱلَّذِي أَخْرَجَهُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ لِأَسْكُنَ فِي وَسْطِهِمْ. أَنَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُهُمْ. BSB BSB: And they will know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.
