1 GLT «فَيَعْمَلُ بَصَلْئِيلُ وَأُهُولِيآبُ وَكُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ حَكِيمِ ٱلْقَلْبِ، قَدْ جَعَلَ فِيهِ ٱلرَّبُّ حِكْمَةً وَفَهْمًا لِيَعْرِفَ أَنْ يَصْنَعَ صَنْعَةً مَّا مِنْ عَمَلِ ٱلْمَقْدِسِ، بِحَسَبِ كُلِّ مَا أَمَرَ ٱلرَّبُّ». BSB BSB: “So Bezalel, Oholiab, and every skilled person are to carry out everything commanded by the LORD, who has given them skill and ability to know how to perform all the work of constructing the sanctuary.”
2 GLT فَدَعَا مُوسَى بَصَلْئِيلَ وَأُهُولِيآبَ وَكُلَّ رَجُلٍ حَكِيمِ ٱلْقَلْبِ، قَدْ جَعَلَ ٱلرَّبُّ حِكْمَةً فِي قَلْبِهِ، كُلَّ مَنْ أَنْهَضَهُ قَلْبُهُ أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ إِلَى ٱلْعَمَلِ لِيَصْنَعَهُ. BSB BSB: Then Moses summoned Bezalel, Oholiab, and every skilled person whom the LORD had gifted—everyone whose heart stirred him to come and do the work.
3 GLT فَأَخَذُوا مِنْ قُدَّامِ مُوسَى كُلَّ ٱلتَّقْدِمَةِ ٱلَّتِي جَاءَ بِهَا بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ لِصَنْعَةِ عَمَلِ ٱلْمَقْدِسِ لِكَيْ يَصْنَعُوهُ. وَهُمْ جَاءُوا إِلَيْهِ أَيْضًا بِشَيْءٍ تَبَرُّعًا كُلَّ صَبَاحٍ. BSB BSB: They received from Moses all the contributions that the Israelites had brought to carry out the service of constructing the sanctuary. Meanwhile, the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning,
4 GLT فَجَاءَ كُلُّ ٱلْحُكَمَاءِ ٱلصَّانِعِينَ كُلَّ عَمَلِ ٱلْمَقْدِسِ، كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ ٱلَّذِي هُمْ يَصْنَعُونَهُ. BSB BSB: so that all the skilled craftsmen who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left their work
5 GLT وَكَلَّمُوا مُوسَى قَائِلِينَ:«يَجِيءُ ٱلشَّعْبُ بِكَثِيرٍ فَوْقَ حَاجَةِ ٱلْعَمَلِ لِلصَّنْعَةِ ٱلَّتِي أَمَرَ ٱلرَّبُّ بِصُنْعِهَا». BSB BSB: and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the LORD has commanded us to do.”
6 GLT فَأَمَرَ مُوسَى أَنْ يُنْفِذُوا صَوْتًا فِي ٱلْمَحَلَّةِ قَائِلِينَ:«لَا يَصْنَعْ رَجُلٌ أَوِ ٱمْرَأَةٌ عَمَلًا أَيْضًا لِتَقْدِمَةِ ٱلْمَقْدِسِ». فَٱمْتَنَعَ ٱلشَّعْبُ عَنِ ٱلْجَلَبِ. BSB BSB: After Moses had given an order, they sent a proclamation throughout the camp: “No man or woman should make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing more,
7 GLT وَٱلْمَوَادُّ كَانَتْ كِفَايَتَهُمْ لِكُلِّ ٱلْعَمَلِ لِيَصْنَعُوهُ وَأَكْثَرَ. BSB BSB: since what they already had was more than enough to perform all the work.
8 GLT فَصَنَعُوا كُلُّ حَكِيمِ قَلْبٍ مِنْ صَانِعِي ٱلْعَمَلِ ٱلْمَسْكَنَ عَشَرَ شُقَقٍ مِنْ بُوصٍ مَبْرُومٍ وَأَسْمَانْجُونِيٍّ وَأُرْجُوانٍ وَقِرْمِزٍ بِكَرُوبِيمَ، صَنْعَةَ حَائِكٍ حَاذِقٍ صَنَعَهَا. BSB BSB: All the skilled craftsmen among the workmen made the ten curtains for the tabernacle. They were made of finely spun linen, as well as blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, with cherubim skillfully worked into them.
9 GLT طُولُ ٱلشُّقَّةِ ٱلْوَاحِدَةِ ثَمَانٍ وَعِشْرُونَ ذِرَاعًا، وَعَرْضُ ٱلشُّقَّةِ ٱلْوَاحِدَةِ أَرْبَعُ أَذْرُعٍ. قِيَاسًا وَاحِدًا لِجَمِيعِ ٱلشُّقَقِ. BSB BSB: Each curtain was twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide; all the curtains were the same size.
10 GLT وَوَصَلَ خَمْسًا مِنَ ٱلشُّقَقِ بَعْضَهَا بِبَعْضٍ. وَوَصَلَ خَمْسًا مِنَ ٱلشُّقَقِ بَعْضَهَا بِبَعْضٍ. BSB BSB: And he joined five of the curtains together, and the other five he joined as well.
11 GLT وَصَنَعَ عُرًى مِنْ أَسْمَانْجُونِيٍّ عَلَى حَاشِيَةِ ٱلشُّقَّةِ ٱلْوَاحِدَةِ فِي ٱلطَّرَفِ مِنَ ٱلْمُوَصَّلِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ. كَذَلِكَ صَنَعَ فِي حَاشِيَةِ ٱلشُّقَّةِ ٱلطَّرَفِيَّةِ مِنَ ٱلْمُوَصَّلِ ٱلثَّانِي. BSB BSB: He made loops of blue material on the edge of the end curtain in the first set, and also on the end curtain in the second set.
12 GLT خَمْسِينَ عُرْوَةً صَنَعَ فِي ٱلشُّقَّةِ ٱلْوَاحِدَةِ، وَخَمْسِينَ عُرْوَةً صَنَعَ فِي طَرَفِ ٱلشُّقَّةِ ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلْمُوَصَّلِ ٱلثَّانِي. مُقَابِلَةً كَانَتِ ٱلْعُرَى بَعْضُهَا لِبَعْضٍ. BSB BSB: He made fifty loops on one curtain and fifty loops on the end curtain of the second set, so that the loops lined up opposite one another.
13 GLT وَصَنَعَ خَمْسِينَ شِظَاظًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، وَوَصَلَ ٱلشُّقَّتَيْنِ بَعْضَهُمَا بِبَعْضٍ بِٱلْأَشِظَّةِ، فَصَارَ ٱلْمَسْكَنُ وَاحِدًا. BSB BSB: He also made fifty gold clasps to join the curtains together, so that the tabernacle was a unit.
14 GLT وَصَنَعَ شُقَقًا مِنْ شَعْرِ مِعْزًى خَيْمَةً فَوْقَ ٱلْمَسْكَنِ. إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ شُقَّةً صَنَعَهَا. BSB BSB: He then made curtains of goat hair for the tent over the tabernacle—eleven curtains in all.
15 GLT طُولُ ٱلشُّقَّةِ ٱلْوَاحِدَةِ ثَلَاثُونَ ذِرَاعًا، وَعَرْضُ ٱلشُّقَّةِ ٱلْوَاحِدَةِ أَرْبَعُ أَذْرُعٍ. قِيَاسًا وَاحِدًا لِلْإِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ شُقَّةً. BSB BSB: Each of the eleven curtains was the same size—thirty cubits long and four cubits wide.
16 GLT وَوَصَلَ خَمْسًا مِنَ ٱلشُّقَقِ وَحْدَهَا، وَسِتًّا مِنَ ٱلشُّقَقِ وَحْدَهَا. BSB BSB: He joined five of the curtains into one set and the other six into another.
17 GLT وَصَنَعَ خَمْسِينَ عُرْوَةً عَلَى حَاشِيَةِ ٱلشُّقَّةِ ٱلطَّرَفِيَّةِ مِنَ ٱلْمُوَصَّلِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ. وَصَنَعَ خَمْسِينَ عُرْوَةً عَلَى حَاشِيَةِ ٱلشُّقَّةِ ٱلْمُوَصَّلَةِ ٱلثَّانِيَةِ. BSB BSB: He made fifty loops along the edge of the end curtain in the first set, and fifty loops along the edge of the corresponding curtain in the second set.
18 GLT وَصَنَعَ خَمْسِينَ شِظَاظًا مِنْ نُحَاسٍ لِيَصِلَ ٱلْخَيْمَةَ لِتَصِيرَ وَاحِدَةً. BSB BSB: He also made fifty bronze clasps to join the tent together as a unit.
19 GLT وَصَنَعَ غِطَاءً لِلْخَيْمَةِ مِنْ جُلُودِ كِبَاشٍ مُحَمَّرَةً، وَغِطَاءً مِنْ جُلُودِ تُخَسٍ مِنْ فَوْقُ. BSB BSB: Additionally, he made for the tent a covering of ram skins dyed red, and over that a covering of fine leather.
20 GLT وَصَنَعَ ٱلْأَلْوَاحَ لِلْمَسْكَنِ مِنْ خَشَبِ ٱلسَّنْطِ قَائِمَةً. BSB BSB: Next, he constructed upright frames of acacia wood for the tabernacle.
21 GLT طُولُ ٱللَّوْحِ عَشْرُ أَذْرُعٍ، وَعَرْضُ ٱللَّوْحِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ ذِرَاعٌ وَنِصْفٌ. BSB BSB: Each frame was ten cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.
22 GLT وَلِلَّوْحِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ رِجْلَانِ، مَقْرُونَةٌ إِحْدَاهُمَا بِٱلْأُخْرَى. هَكَذَا صَنَعَ لِجَمِيعِ أَلْوَاحِ ٱلْمَسْكَنِ. BSB BSB: Two tenons were connected to each other for each frame. He made all the frames of the tabernacle in this way.
23 GLT وَصَنَعَ ٱلْأَلْوَاحَ لِلْمَسْكَنِ عِشْرِينَ لَوْحًا إِلَى جِهَةِ ٱلْجَنُوبِ نَحْوَ ٱلتَّيْمَنِ. BSB BSB: He constructed twenty frames for the south side of the tabernacle,
24 GLT وَصَنَعَ أَرْبَعِينَ قَاعِدَةً مِنْ فِضَّةٍ تَحْتَ ٱلْعِشْرِينَ لَوْحًا، تَحْتَ ٱللَّوْحِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ قَاعِدَتَانِ لِرِجْلَيْهِ، وَتَحْتَ ٱللَّوْحِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ قَاعِدَتَانِ لِرِجْلَيْهِ. BSB BSB: with forty silver bases to put under the twenty frames—two bases for each frame, one under each tenon.
25 GLT وَلِجَانِبِ ٱلْمَسْكَنِ ٱلثَّانِي إِلَى جِهَةِ ٱلشِّمَالِ صَنَعَ عِشْرِينَ لَوْحًا، BSB BSB: For the second side of the tabernacle, the north side, he made twenty frames
26 GLT وَأَرْبَعِينَ قَاعِدَةً لَهَا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ. تَحْتَ ٱللَّوْحِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ قَاعِدَتَانِ، وَتَحْتَ ٱللَّوْحِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ قَاعِدَتَانِ. BSB BSB: and forty silver bases—two bases under each frame.
27 GLT وَلِمُؤَخَّرِ ٱلْمَسْكَنِ نَحْوَ ٱلْغَرْبِ صَنَعَ سِتَّةَ أَلْوَاحٍ. BSB BSB: He made six frames for the rear of the tabernacle, the west side,
28 GLT وَصَنَعَ لَوْحَيْنِ لِزَاوِيَتَيِ ٱلْمَسْكَنِ فِي ٱلْمُؤَخَّرِ. BSB BSB: and two frames for the two back corners of the tabernacle,
29 GLT وَكَانَا مُزْدَوِجَيْنِ مِنْ أَسْفَلُ، وَعَلَى سَوَاءٍ كَانَا مُزْدَوِجَيْنِ إِلَى رَأْسِهِ إِلَى ٱلْحَلْقَةِ ٱلْوَاحِدَةِ. هَكَذَا صَنَعَ لِكِلْتَيْهِمَا، لِكِلْتَا ٱلزَّاوِيَتَيْنِ. BSB BSB: coupled together from bottom to top and fitted into a single ring. He made both corners in this way.
30 GLT فَكَانَتْ ثَمَانِيَةَ أَلْوَاحٍ وَقَوَاعِدُهَا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ قَاعِدَةً. قَاعِدَتَيْنِ قَاعِدَتَيْنِ تَحْتَ ٱللَّوْحِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ. BSB BSB: So there were eight frames and sixteen silver bases—two under each frame.
31 GLT وَصَنَعَ عَوَارِضَ مِنْ خَشَبِ ٱلسَّنْطِ، خَمْسًا لِأَلْوَاحِ جَانِبِ ٱلْمَسْكَنِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ، BSB BSB: He also made five crossbars of acacia wood for the frames on one side of the tabernacle,
32 GLT وَخَمْسَ عَوَارِضَ لِأَلْوَاحِ جَانِبِ ٱلْمَسْكَنِ ٱلثَّانِي، وَخَمْسَ عَوَارِضَ لِأَلْوَاحِ ٱلْمَسْكَنِ فِي ٱلْمُؤَخَّرِ نَحْوَ ٱلْغَرْبِ. BSB BSB: five for those on the other side, and five for those on the rear side of the tabernacle, to the west.
33 GLT وَصَنَعَ ٱلْعَارِضَةَ ٱلْوُسْطَى لِتَنْفُذَ فِي وَسَطِ ٱلْأَلْوَاحِ مِنَ ٱلطَّرَفِ إِلَى ٱلطَّرَفِ. BSB BSB: He made the central crossbar to run through the center of the frames, from one end to the other.
34 GLT وَغَشَّى ٱلْأَلْوَاحَ بِذَهَبٍ. وَصَنَعَ حَلَقَاتِهَا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ بُيُوتًا لِلْعَوَارِضِ، وَغَشَّى ٱلْعَوَارِضَ بِذَهَبٍ. BSB BSB: And he overlaid the frames with gold and made gold rings to hold the crossbars. He also overlaid the crossbars with gold.
35 GLT وَصَنَعَ ٱلْحِجَابَ مِنْ أَسْمَانْجُونِيٍّ وَأُرْجُوَانٍ وَقِرْمِزٍ وَبُوصٍ مَبْرُومٍ. صَنْعَةَ حَائِكٍ حَاذِقٍ صَنَعَهُ بِكَرُوبِيمَ. BSB BSB: Next, he made the veil of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely spun linen, with cherubim skillfully worked into it.
36 GLT وَصَنَعَ لَهُ أَرْبَعَةَ أَعْمِدَةٍ مِنْ سَنْطٍ، وَغَشَّاهَا بِذَهَبٍ. رُزَزُهَا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ. وَسَبَكَ لَهَا أَرْبَعَ قَوَاعِدَ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ. BSB BSB: He also made four posts of acacia wood for it and overlaid them with gold, along with gold hooks; and he cast four silver bases for the posts.
37 GLT وَصَنَعَ سَجْفًا لِمَدْخَلِ ٱلْخَيْمَةِ مِنْ أَسْمَانْجُونِيٍّ وَأُرْجُوَانٍ وَقِرْمِزٍ وَبُوصٍ مَبْرُومٍ صَنْعَةَ ٱلطَّرَّازِ. BSB BSB: For the entrance to the tent, he made a curtain embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely spun linen,
38 GLT وَأَعْمِدَتَهُ خَمْسَةً وَرُزَزَهَا. وَغَشَّى رُؤُوسَهَا وَقُضْبَانَهَا بِذَهَبٍ، وَقَوَاعِدَهَا خَمْسًا مِنْ نُحَاسٍ. BSB BSB: together with five posts and their hooks. He overlaid the tops of the posts and their bands with gold, and their five bases were bronze.
