1 GLT وَخَرَجَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ ٱلثَّانِيَةُ لِشِمْعُونَ، لِسِبْطِ بَنِي شِمْعُونَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ، وَكَانَ نَصِيبُهُمْ دَاخِلَ نَصِيبِ بَنِي يَهُوذَا. BSB BSB: The second lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Simeon: Their inheritance lay within the territory of Judah
2 GLT فَكَانَ لَهُمْ فِي نَصِيبِهِمْ: بِئْرُ سَبْعٍ وَشَبَعُ وَمُولَادَةُ، BSB BSB: and included Beersheba (or Sheba), Moladah,
3 GLT وَحَصَرُ شُوعَالَ وَبَالَةُ وَعَاصَمُ، BSB BSB: Hazar-shual, Balah, Ezem,
4 GLT وَأَلْتُولَدُ وَبَتُولُ وَحُرْمَةُ، BSB BSB: Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 GLT وَصِقْلَغُ وَبَيْتُ ٱلْمَرْكَبُوتِ وَحَصَرُ سُوسَةَ، BSB BSB: Ziklag, Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susah,
6 GLT وَبَيْتُ لَبَاوُتَ وَشَارُوحَيْنِ. ثَلَاثَ عَشَرَةَ مَدِينَةً مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen—thirteen cities, along with their villages.
7 GLT عَيْنُ وَرِمُّونُ وَعَاتَرُ وَعَاشَانُ. أَرْبَعُ مُدُنٍ مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan—four cities, along with their villages,
8 GLT وَجَمِيعُ ٱلضِّيَاعِ ٱلَّتِي حَوَالَيْ هَذِهِ ٱلْمُدُنِ إِلَى بَعْلَةِ بَئْرِ رَامَةِ ٱلْجَنُوبِ. هَذَا هُوَ نَصِيبُ سِبْطِ بَنِي شِمْعُونَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ. BSB BSB: and all the villages surrounding these cities as far as Baalath-beer (Ramah of the Negev). This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Simeon.
9 GLT وَمِنْ قِسْمِ بَنِي يَهُوذَا كَانَ نَصِيبُ بَنِي شِمْعُونَ. لِأَنَّ قِسْمَ بَنِي يَهُوذَا كَانَ كَثِيرًا عَلَيْهِمْ، فَمَلَكَ بَنُو شِمْعُونَ دَاخِلَ نَصِيبِهِمْ. BSB BSB: The inheritance of the Simeonites was taken from the territory of Judah, because the share for Judah’s descendants was too large for them. So the Simeonites received an inheritance within Judah’s portion.
10 GLT وَطَلَعَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ ٱلثَّالِثَةُ لِبَنِي زَبُولُونَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ. وَكَانَ تُخْمُ نَصِيبِهِمْ إِلَى سَارِيدَ. BSB BSB: The third lot came up for the clans of the tribe of Zebulun: The border of their inheritance stretched as far as Sarid.
11 GLT وَصَعِدَ تُخْمُهُمْ نَحْوَ ٱلْغَرْبِ وَمَرْعَلَةَ، وَوَصَلَ إِلَى دَبَّاشَةَ، وَوَصَلَ إِلَى ٱلْوَادِي ٱلَّذِي مُقَابِلَ يَقْنَعَامَ، BSB BSB: It went up westward to Maralah, reached Dabbesheth, and met the brook east of Jokneam.
12 GLT وَدَارَ مِنْ سَارِيدَ شَرْقًا نَحْوَ شُرُوقِ ٱلشَّمْسِ عَلَى التُّخْمِ كِسْلُوتِ تَابُورَ، وَخَرَجَ إِلَى ٱلدَّبْرَةِ وَصَعِدَ إِلَى يَافِيعَ، BSB BSB: From Sarid it turned eastward along the border of Chisloth-tabor and went on to Daberath and up to Japhia.
13 GLT وَمِنْ هُنَاكَ عَبَرَ شَرْقًا نَحْوَ ٱلشُّرُوقِ إِلَى جَتَّ حَافَرَ إِلَى عِتِّ قَاصِينَ، وَخَرَجَ إِلَى رِمُّونَ وَٱمْتَدَّ إِلَى نَيْعَةَ. BSB BSB: From there it crossed eastward to Gath-hepher and to Eth-kazin; it extended to Rimmon and curved around toward Neah.
14 GLT وَدَارَ بِهَا ٱلتُّخْمُ شِمَالًا إِلَى حَنَّاتُونَ، وَكَانَتْ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ وَادِي يَفْتَحْئِيلَ، BSB BSB: Then the border circled around the north side of Neah to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah-el.
15 GLT وَقَطَّةَ وَنَهْلَالَ وَشِمْرُونَ وَيَدَالَةَ وَبَيْتِ لَحْمٍ. ٱثْنَتَا عَشَرَةَ مَدِينَةً مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: It also included Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. There were twelve cities, along with their villages.
16 GLT هَذَا هُوَ نَصِيبُ بَنِي زَبُولُونَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ. هَذِهِ ٱلْمُدُنُ مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Zebulun, including these cities and their villages.
17 GLT وَخَرَجَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ ٱلرَّابِعَةُ لِيَسَّاكَرَ. لِبَنِي يَسَّاكَرَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ. BSB BSB: The fourth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Issachar:
18 GLT وَكَانَ تُخْمُهُمْ إِلَى يَزْرَعِيلَ وَٱلْكِسْلُوتِ وَشُونَمَ، BSB BSB: Their territory included Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,
19 GLT وَحَفَارَايِمَ وَشِيئُونَ وَأَنَاحَرَةَ، BSB BSB: Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20 GLT وَرَبِّيتَ وَقِشْيُونَ وَآبَصَ، BSB BSB: Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,
21 GLT وَرَمَةَ وَعَيْنِ جَنِّيمَ وَعَيْنِ حَدَّةَ وَبَيْتِ فَصَّيْصَ. BSB BSB: Remeth, En-gannim, En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez.
22 GLT وَوَصَلَ ٱلتُّخْمُ إِلَى تَابُورَ وَشَحْصِيمَةَ وَبَيْتِ شَمْسٍ. وَكَانَتْ مَخَارِجُ تُخْمِهِمْ عِنْدَ ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ. سِتَّ عَشَرَةَ مَدِينَةً مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: The border reached Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. There were sixteen cities, along with their villages.
23 GLT هَذَا هُوَ نَصِيبُ بَنِي يَسَّاكَرَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمِ. ٱلْمُدُنُ مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Issachar, including these cities and their villages.
24 GLT وَخَرَجَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ ٱلْخَامِسَةُ لِسِبْطِ بَنِي أَشِيرَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ. BSB BSB: The fifth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Asher:
25 GLT وَكَانَ تُخْمُهُمْ حَلْقَةَ وَحَلِي وَبَاطَنَ وَأَكْشَافَ، BSB BSB: Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,
26 GLT وَأَلَّمَّلَكَ وَعَمْعَادَ وَمِشْآلَ، وَوَصَلَ إِلَى كَرْمَلَ غَرْبًا وَإِلَى شِيحُورِ لِبْنَةَ. BSB BSB: Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal. On the west the border touched Carmel and Shihor-libnath,
27 GLT وَرَجَعَ نَحْوَ مَشْرِقِ ٱلشَّمْسِ إِلَى بَيْتِ دَاجُونَ، وَوَصَلَ إِلَى زَبُولُونَ وَإِلَى وَادِي يَفْتَحْئِيلَ شِمَالِيَّ بَيْتِ ٱلْعَامِقِ وَنَعِيئِيلَ وَخَرَجَ إِلَى كَابُولَ عَنِ ٱلْيَسَارِ، BSB BSB: then turned eastward toward Beth-dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah-el, and went north to Beth-emek and Neiel, passing Cabul on the left.
28 GLT وَعَبْرُونَ وَرَحُوبَ وَحَمُّونَ وَقَانَةَ إِلَى صِيْدُونَ ٱلْعَظِيمَةِ. BSB BSB: It went on to Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.
29 GLT وَرَجَعَ ٱلتُّخْمُ إِلَى ٱلرَّامَةِ وَإِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ ٱلْمُحَصَّنَةِ صُورٍ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ ٱلتُّخْمُ إِلَى حُوصَةَ. وَكَانَتْ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ ٱلْبَحْرِ فِي كُورَةِ أَكْزِيبَ. BSB BSB: The border then turned back toward Ramah as far as the fortified city of Tyre, turned toward Hosah, and came out at the Sea in the region of Achzib,
30 GLT وَعُمَّةَ وَأَفِيقَ وَرَحُوبَ. ٱثْنَتَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ مَدِينَةً مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob. There were twenty-two cities, along with their villages.
31 GLT هَذَا هُوَ نَصِيبُ سِبْطِ بَنِي أَشِيرَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ. هَذِهِ ٱلْمُدُنُ مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Asher, including these cities and their villages.
32 GLT لِبَنِي نَفْتَالِي خَرَجَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ ٱلسَّادِسَةُ. لِبَنِي نَفْتَالِي حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ. BSB BSB: The sixth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Naphtali:
33 GLT وَكَانَ تُخْمُهُمْ مِنْ حَالَفَ مِنَ ٱلْبَلُّوطَةِ عِنْدَ صَعَنَنِّيمَ وَأَدَامِي ٱلنَّاقِبِ وَيَبْنِئِيلَ إِلَى لَقُّومَ. وَكَانَتْ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ. BSB BSB: Their border started at Heleph and the great tree of Zaanannim, passing Adami-nekeb and Jabneel as far as Lakkum and ending at the Jordan.
34 GLT وَرَجَعَ ٱلتُّخْمُ غَرْبًا إِلَى أَزْنُوتِ تَابُورَ، وَخَرَجَ مِنْ هُنَاكَ إِلَى حُقُّوقَ وَوَصَلَ إِلَى زَبُولُونَ جَنُوبًا، وَوَصَلَ إِلَى أَشِيرَ غَرْبًا، وَإِلَى يَهُوذَا ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ نَحْوَ شُرُوقِ ٱلشَّمْسِ. BSB BSB: Then the border turned westward to Aznoth-tabor and ran from there to Hukkok, touching Zebulun on the south side, Asher on the west, and Judah at the Jordan on the east.
35 GLT وَمُدُنٌ مُحَصَّنَةٌ: ٱلصِّدِّيمُ وَصَيْرُ وَحَمَّةُ وَرَقَّةُ وَكِنَّارَةُ، BSB BSB: The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,
36 GLT وَأَدَامَةُ وَٱلرَّامَةُ وَحَاصُورُ، BSB BSB: Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 GLT وَقَادَشُ وَإِذْرَعِي وَعَيْنُ حَاصُورَ، BSB BSB: Kedesh, Edrei, En-hazor,
38 GLT وَيِرْأُونُ وَمَجْدَلُ إِيلَ وَحُورِيمُ وَبَيْتُ عَنَاةَ وَبَيْتُ شَمْسٍ. تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ مَدِينَةً مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: Iron, Migdal-el, Horem, Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh. There were nineteen cities, along with their villages.
39 GLT هَذَا هُوَ نَصِيبُ سِبْطِ بَنِي نَفْتَالِي حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمِ. اَلْمُدُنُ مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Naphtali, including these cities and their villages.
40 GLT لِسِبْطِ بَنِي دَانَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ خَرَجَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ ٱلسَّابِعَةُ. BSB BSB: The seventh lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Dan:
41 GLT وَكَانَ تُخْمُ نَصِيبِهِمْ صَرْعَةَ وَأَشْتَأُولَ وَعِيرَ شَمْسٍ، BSB BSB: The territory of their inheritance included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-shemesh,
42 GLT وَشَعَلَبَّيْنِ وَأَيَّلُونَ وَيِتْلَةَ، BSB BSB: Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,
43 GLT وَإِيلُونَ وَتِمْنَةَ وَعَقْرُونَ، BSB BSB: Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44 GLT وَإِلْتَقَيْهَ وَجِبَّثُونَ وَبَعْلَةَ، BSB BSB: Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,
45 GLT وَيَهُودَ وَبَنِي بَرَقَ وَجَتَّ رِمُّونَ، BSB BSB: Jehud, Bene-berak, Gath-rimmon,
46 GLT وَمِيَاهَ ٱلْيَرْقُونَ وَٱلرَّقُّونَ مَعَ ٱلتُّخُومِ ٱلَّتِي مُقَابِلَ يَافَا. BSB BSB: Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, including the territory across from Joppa.
47 GLT وَخَرَجَ تُخْمُ بَنِي دَانَ مِنْهُمْ وَصَعِدَ بَنُو دَانَ، وَحَارَبُوا لَشَمَ وَأَخَذُوهَا وَضَرَبُوهَا بِحَدِّ ٱلسَّيْفِ وَمَلَكُوهَا وَسَكَنُوهَا، وَدَعَوْا لَشَمَ دَانَ، كَٱسْمِ دَانَ أَبِيهِمْ. BSB BSB: (Later, when the territory of the Danites was lost to them, they went up and fought against Leshem, captured it, and put it to the sword. So they took possession of Leshem, settled there, and renamed it after their father Dan.)
48 GLT هَذَا هُوَ نَصِيبُ سِبْطِ بَنِي دَانَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ. هَذِهِ ٱلْمُدُنُ مَعَ ضِيَاعِهَا. BSB BSB: This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Dan, including these cities and their villages.
49 GLT وَلَمَّا ٱنْتَهَوْا مِنْ قِسْمَةِ ٱلْأَرْضِ حَسَبَ تُخُومِهَا، أَعْطَى بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ يَشُوعَ بْنَ نُونَ نَصِيبًا فِي وَسَطِهِمْ. BSB BSB: When they had finished distributing the land into its territories, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them,
50 GLT حَسَبَ قَوْلِ ٱلرَّبِّ أَعْطَوْهُ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ ٱلَّتِي طَلَبَ: تِمْنَةَ سَارَحَ فِي جَبَلِ أَفْرَايِمَ، فَبَنَى ٱلْمَدِينَةَ وَسَكَنَ بِهَا. BSB BSB: as the LORD had commanded. They gave him the city of Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim, as he requested. He rebuilt the city and settled in it.
51 GLT هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْأَنْصِبَةُ ٱلَّتِي قَسَمَهَا أَلِعَازَارُ ٱلْكَاهِنُ وَيَشُوعُ بْنُ نُونَ وَرُؤَسَاءُ آبَاءِ أَسْبَاطِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ بِٱلْقُرْعَةِ فِي شِيلُوهَ أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ لَدَى بَابِ خَيْمَةِ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ، وَٱنْتَهَوْا مِنْ قِسْمَةِ ٱلْأَرْضِ. BSB BSB: These are the inheritances that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the families distributed by lot to the tribes of Israel at Shiloh before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. So they finished dividing up the land.
