1 GLT وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى قَائِلًا: BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
2 GLT «أَوْصِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: إِنَّكُمْ دَاخِلُونَ إِلَى أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ. هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلَّتِي تَقَعُ لَكُمْ نَصِيبًا. أَرْضُ كَنْعَانَ بِتُخُومِهَا: BSB BSB: “Command the Israelites and say to them: When you enter the land of Canaan, it will be allotted to you as an inheritance with these boundaries:
3 GLT تَكُونُ لَكُمْ نَاحِيَةُ ٱلْجَنُوبِ مِنْ بَرِّيَّةِ صِينَ عَلَى جَانِبِ أَدُومَ، وَيَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلْجَنُوبِ مِنْ طَرَفِ بَحْرِ ٱلْمِلْحِ إِلَى ٱلشَّرْقِ، BSB BSB: Your southern border will extend from the Wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom. On the east, your southern border will run from the end of the Salt Sea,
4 GLT وَيَدُورُ لَكُمُ ٱلتَّخْمُ مِنْ جَنُوبِ عَقَبَةِ عَقْرِبِّيمَ، وَيَعْبُرُ إِلَى صِينَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ مِنْ جَنُوبِ قَادَشَ بَرْنِيعَ، وَيَخْرُجُ إِلَى حَصَرِ أَدَّارَ، وَيَعْبُرُ إِلَى عَصْمُونَ. BSB BSB: cross south of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continue to Zin, and go south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it will go on to Hazar-addar and proceed to Azmon,
5 GLT ثُمَّ يَدُورُ ٱلتَّخْمُ مِنْ عَصْمُونَ إِلَى وَادِي مِصْرَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ ٱلْبَحْرِ. BSB BSB: where it will turn from Azmon, join the Brook of Egypt, and end at the Sea.
6 GLT وَأَمَّا تُخْمُ ٱلْغَرْبِ فَيَكُونُ ٱلْبَحْرُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ لَكُمْ تُخْمًا. هَذَا يَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلْغَرْبِ. BSB BSB: Your western border will be the coastline of the Great Sea; this will be your boundary on the west.
7 GLT وَهَذَا يَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلشِّمَالِ. مِنَ ٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْكَبِيرِ تَرْسُمُونَ لَكُمْ إِلَى جَبَلِ هُورَ. BSB BSB: Your northern border will run from the Great Sea directly to Mount Hor,
8 GLT وَمِنْ جَبَلِ هُورَ تَرْسُمُونَ إِلَى مَدْخَلِ حَمَاةَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُ ٱلتَّخْمِ إِلَى صَدَدَ. BSB BSB: and from Mount Hor to Lebo-hamath, then extend to Zedad,
9 GLT ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ ٱلتَّخْمُ إِلَى زِفْرُونَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ حَصَرِ عِينَانَ. هَذَا يَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلشِّمَالِ. BSB BSB: continue to Ziphron, and end at Hazar-enan. This will be your boundary on the north.
10 GLT وَتَرْسُمُونَ لَكُمْ تَخْمًا إِلَى ٱلشَّرْقِ مِنْ حَصَرِ عِينَانَ إِلَى شَفَامَ. BSB BSB: And your eastern border will run straight from Hazar-enan to Shepham,
11 GLT وَيَنْحَدِرُ ٱلتَّخْمُ مِنْ شَفَامَ إِلَى رَبْلَةَ شَرْقِيَّ عَيْنٍ. ثُمَّ يَنْحَدِرُ ٱلتَّخْمُ وَيَمَسُّ جَانِبَ بَحْرِ كِنَّارَةَ إِلَى ٱلشَّرْقِ. BSB BSB: then go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain and continue along the slopes east of the Sea of Chinnereth.
12 GLT ثُمَّ يَنْحَدِرُ ٱلتَّخْمُ إِلَى ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ بَحْرِ ٱلْمِلْحِ. هَذِهِ تَكُونُ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ بِتُخُومِهَا حَوَالَيْهَا». BSB BSB: Then the border will go down along the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea. This will be your land, defined by its borders on all sides.”
13 GLT فَأَمَرَ مُوسَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَائِلًا:«هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلَّتِي تَقْتَسِمُونَهَا بِٱلْقُرْعَةِ، ٱلَّتِي أَمَرَ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ تُعْطَى لِلتِّسْعَةِ ٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَنِصْفِ ٱلسِّبْطِ. BSB BSB: So Moses commanded the Israelites, “Apportion this land by lot as an inheritance. The LORD has commanded that it be given to the nine and a half tribes.
14 GLT لِأَنَّهُ قَدْ أَخَذَ سِبْطُ بَنِي رَأُوبَيْنَ حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، وَسِبْطُ بَنِي جَادَ حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، وَنِصْفُ سِبْطِ مَنَسَّى. قَدْ أَخَذُوا نَصِيبَهُمْ. BSB BSB: For the tribes of the Reubenites and Gadites, along with the half-tribe of Manasseh, have already received their inheritance.
15 GLT اَلسِّبْطَانِ وَنِصْفُ ٱلسِّبْطِ قَدْ أَخَذُوا نَصِيبَهُمْ فِي عَبْرِ أُرْدُنِّ أَرِيحَا شَرْقًا، نَحْوَ ٱلشُّرُوقِ». BSB BSB: These two and a half tribes have received their inheritance across the Jordan from Jericho, toward the sunrise.”
16 GLT وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى قَائِلًا: BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
17 GLT «هَذَانِ ٱسْمَا ٱلرَّجُلَيْنِ ٱللَّذَيْنِ يَقْسِمَانِ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ: أَلِعَازَارُ ٱلْكَاهِنُ وَيَشُوعُ بْنُ نُونَ. BSB BSB: “These are the names of the men who are to assign the land as an inheritance for you: Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun.
18 GLT وَرَئِيسًا وَاحِدًا مِنْ كُلِّ سِبْطٍ تَأْخُذُونَ لِقِسْمَةِ ٱلْأَرْضِ. BSB BSB: Appoint one leader from each tribe to distribute the land.
19 GLT وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ ٱلرِّجَالِ: مِنْ سِبْطِ يَهُوذَا كَالِبُ بْنُ يَفُنَّةَ. BSB BSB: These are their names: Caleb son of Jephunneh from the tribe of Judah;
20 GLT وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي شِمْعُونَ شَمُوئِيلُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ. BSB BSB: Shemuel son of Ammihud from the tribe of Simeon;
21 GLT وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنْيَامِينَ أَلِيدَادُ بْنُ كَسْلُونَ. BSB BSB: Elidad son of Chislon from the tribe of Benjamin;
22 GLT وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي دَانَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ بُقِّي بْنُ يُجْلِي. BSB BSB: Bukki son of Jogli, a leader from the tribe of Dan;
23 GLT وَمِنْ بَنِي يُوسُفَ: مِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي مَنَسَّى ٱلرَّئِيسُ حَنِّيئِيلُ بْنُ إِيفُودَ. BSB BSB: Hanniel son of Ephod, a leader from the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph;
24 GLT وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي أَفْرَايِمَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ قَمُوئِيلُ بْنُ شِفْطَانَ. BSB BSB: Kemuel son of Shiphtan, a leader from the tribe of Ephraim;
25 GLT وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي زَبُولُونَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ أَلِيصَافَانُ بْنُ فَرْنَاخَ. BSB BSB: Eli-zaphan son of Parnach, a leader from the tribe of Zebulun;
26 GLT وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي يَسَّاكَرَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ فَلْطِيئِيلُ بْنُ عَزَّانَ. BSB BSB: Paltiel son of Azzan, a leader from the tribe of Issachar;
27 GLT وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي أَشِيرَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ أَخِيهُودُ بْنُ شَلُومِي. BSB BSB: Ahihud son of Shelomi, a leader from the tribe of Asher;
28 GLT وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي نَفْتَالِي ٱلرَّئِيسُ فَدَهْئِيلُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ». BSB BSB: and Pedahel son of Ammihud, a leader from the tribe of Naphtali.”
29 GLT هَؤُلَاءِ هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَمَرَهُمُ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ يَقْسِمُوا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ. BSB BSB: These are the ones whom the LORD commanded to apportion the inheritance to the Israelites in the land of Canaan.
