1 GLT أُبَارِكُ ٱلرَّبَّ فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ. دَائِمًا تَسْبِيحُهُ فِي فَمِي. BSB BSB: Of David, when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, so that the king drove him away. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.
2 GLT بِٱلرَّبِّ تَفْتَخِرُ نَفْسِي. يَسْمَعُ ٱلْوُدَعَاءُ فَيَفْرَحُونَ. BSB BSB: My soul boasts in the LORD; let the oppressed hear and rejoice.
3 GLT عَظِّمُوا ٱلرَّبَّ مَعِي، وَلْنُعَلِّ ٱسْمَهُ مَعًا. BSB BSB: Magnify the LORD with me; let us exalt His name together.
4 GLT طَلَبْتُ إِلَى ٱلرَّبِّ فَٱسْتَجَابَ لِي، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَخَاوِفِي أَنْقَذَنِي. BSB BSB: I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.
5 GLT نَظَرُوا إِلَيْهِ وَٱسْتَنَارُوا، وَوُجُوهُهُمْ لَمْ تَخْجَلْ. BSB BSB: Those who look to Him are radiant with joy; their faces shall never be ashamed.
6 GLT هَذَا ٱلْمِسْكِينُ صَرَخَ، وَٱلرَّبُّ ٱسْتَمَعَهُ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ ضِيقَاتِهِ خَلَّصَهُ. BSB BSB: This poor man called out, and the LORD heard him; He saved him from all his troubles.
7 GLT مَلَاكُ ٱلرَّبِّ حَالٌّ حَوْلَ خَائِفِيهِ، وَيُنَجِّيهِمْ. BSB BSB: The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them.
8 GLT ذُوقُوا وَٱنْظُرُوا مَا أَطْيَبَ ٱلرَّبَّ! طُوبَى لِلرَّجُلِ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَلَيْهِ. BSB BSB: Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
9 GLT ٱتَّقُوا ٱلرَّبَّ يَا قِدِّيسِيهِ، لِأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَوَزٌ لِمُتَّقِيهِ. BSB BSB: Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.
10 GLT ٱلْأَشْبَالُ ٱحْتَاجَتْ وَجَاعَتْ، وَأَمَّا طَالِبُو ٱلرَّبِّ فَلَا يُعْوِزُهُمْ شَيْءٌ مِنَ ٱلْخَيْرِ. BSB BSB: Young lions go lacking and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
11 GLT هَلُمَّ أَيُّهَا ٱلْبَنُونَ ٱسْتَمِعُوا إِلَيَّ فَأُعَلِّمَكُمْ مَخَافَةَ ٱلرَّبِّ. BSB BSB: Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 GLT مَنْ هُوَ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ ٱلَّذِي يَهْوَى ٱلْحَيَاةَ، وَيُحِبُّ كَثْرَةَ ٱلْأَيَّامِ لِيَرَى خَيْرًا؟ BSB BSB: Who is the man who delights in life, who desires to see good days?
13 GLT صُنْ لِسَانَكَ عَنِ ٱلشَّرِّ، وَشَفَتَيْكَ عَنِ ٱلتَّكَلُّمِ بِٱلْغِشِّ. BSB BSB: Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech.
14 GLT حِدْ عَنِ ٱلشَّرِّ، وَٱصْنَعِ ٱلْخَيْرَ. ٱطْلُبِ ٱلسَّلَامَةَ، وَٱسْعَ وَرَاءَهَا. BSB BSB: Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
15 GLT عَيْنَا ٱلرَّبِّ نَحْوَ ٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ، وَأُذُنَاهُ إِلَى صُرَاخِهِمْ. BSB BSB: The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their cry.
16 GLT وَجْهُ ٱلرَّبِّ ضِدُّ عَامِلِي ٱلشَّرِّ لِيَقْطَعَ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ذِكْرَهُمْ. BSB BSB: But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to wipe out all memory of them from the earth.
17 GLT أُولَئِكَ صَرَخُوا، وَٱلرَّبُّ سَمِعَ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ شَدَائِدِهِمْ أَنْقَذَهُمْ. BSB BSB: The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles.
18 GLT قَرِيبٌ هُوَ ٱلرَّبُّ مِنَ ٱلْمُنْكَسِرِي ٱلْقُلُوبِ، وَيُخَلِّصُ ٱلْمُنْسَحِقِي ٱلرُّوحِ. BSB BSB: The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit.
19 GLT كَثِيرَةٌ هِيَ بَلَايَا ٱلصِّدِّيقِ، وَمِنْ جَمِيعِهَا يُنَجِّيهِ ٱلرَّبُّ. BSB BSB: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.
20 GLT يَحْفَظُ جَمِيعَ عِظَامِهِ. وَاحِدٌ مِنْهَا لَا يَنْكَسِرُ. BSB BSB: He protects all his bones; not one of them will be broken.
21 GLT ٱلشَّرُّ يُمِيتُ ٱلشِّرِّيرَ، وَمُبْغِضُو ٱلصِّدِّيقِ يُعَاقَبُونَ. BSB BSB: Evil will slay the wicked, and the haters of the righteous will be condemned.
22 GLT ٱلرَّبُّ فَادِي نُفُوسِ عَبِيدِهِ، وَكُلُّ مَنِ ٱتَّكَلَ عَلَيْهِ لَا يُعَاقَبُ. BSB BSB: The LORD redeems His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be condemned.
