1 GLT يَا رَبُّ، لَا تُوَبِّخْنِي بِسَخَطِكَ، وَلَا تُؤَدِّبْنِي بِغَيْظِكَ، BSB BSB: A Psalm of David, for remembrance. O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger or discipline me in Your wrath.
2 GLT لِأَنَّ سِهَامَكَ قَدِ ٱنْتَشَبَتْ فِيَّ، وَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيَّ يَدُكَ. BSB BSB: For Your arrows have pierced me deeply, and Your hand has pressed down on me.
3 GLT لَيْسَتْ فِي جَسَدِي صِحَّةٌ مِنْ جِهَةِ غَضَبِكَ. لَيْسَتْ فِي عِظَامِي سَلَامَةٌ مِنْ جِهَةِ خَطِيَّتِي. BSB BSB: There is no soundness in my body because of Your anger; there is no rest in my bones because of my sin.
4 GLT لِأَنَّ آثَامِي قَدْ طَمَتْ فَوْقَ رَأْسِي. كَحِمْلٍ ثَقِيلٍ أَثْقَلَ مِمَّا أَحْتَمِلُ. BSB BSB: For my iniquities have overwhelmed me; they are a burden too heavy to bear.
5 GLT قَدْ أَنْتَنَتْ، قَاحَتْ حُبُرُ ضَرْبِي مِنْ جِهَةِ حَمَاقَتِي. BSB BSB: My wounds are foul and festering because of my sinful folly.
6 GLT لَوِيتُ. ٱنْحَنَيْتُ إِلَى ٱلْغَايَةِ. ٱلْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ ذَهَبْتُ حَزِينًا. BSB BSB: I am bent and brought low; all day long I go about mourning.
7 GLT لِأَنَّ خَاصِرَتَيَّ قَدِ ٱمْتَلَأَتَا ٱحْتِرَاقًا، وَلَيْسَتْ فِي جَسَدِي صِحَّةٌ. BSB BSB: For my loins are full of burning pain, and no soundness remains in my body.
8 GLT خَدِرْتُ وَٱنْسَحَقْتُ إِلَى ٱلْغَايَةِ. كُنْتُ أَئِنُّ مِنْ زَفِيرِ قَلْبِي. BSB BSB: I am numb and badly crushed; I groan in anguish of heart.
9 GLT يَا رَبُّ، أَمَامَكَ كُلُّ تَأَوُّهِي، وَتَنَهُّدِي لَيْسَ بِمَسْتُورٍ عَنْكَ. BSB BSB: O Lord, my every desire is before You; my groaning is not hidden from You.
10 GLT قَلْبِي خَافِقٌ. قُوَّتِي فَارَقَتْنِي، وَنُورُ عَيْنِي أَيْضًا لَيْسَ مَعِي. BSB BSB: My heart pounds, my strength fails, and even the light of my eyes has faded.
11 GLT أَحِبَّائِي وَأَصْحَابِي يَقِفُونَ تُجَاهَ ضَرْبَتِي، وَأَقَارِبِي وَقَفُوا بَعِيدًا. BSB BSB: My beloved and friends shun my disease, and my kinsmen stand at a distance.
12 GLT وَطَالِبُو نَفْسِي نَصَبُوا شَرَكًا، وَٱلْمُلْتَمِسُونَ لِيَ ٱلشَّرَّ تَكَلَّمُوا بِٱلْمَفَاسِدِ، وَٱلْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ يَلْهَجُونَ بِٱلْغِشِّ. BSB BSB: Those who seek my life lay snares; those who wish me harm speak destruction, plotting deceit all day long.
13 GLT وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَكَأَصَمَّ لَا أَسْمَعُ. وَكَأَبْكَمَ لَا يَفْتَحُ فَاهُ. BSB BSB: But like a deaf man, I do not hear; and like a mute man, I do not open my mouth.
14 GLT وَأَكُونُ مِثْلَ إِنْسَانٍلَا يَسْمَعُ، وَلَيْسَ فِي فَمِهِ حُجَّةٌ. BSB BSB: I am like a man who cannot hear, whose mouth offers no reply.
15 GLT لِأَنِّي لَكَ يَا رَبُّ صَبَرْتُ، أَنْتَ تَسْتَجِيبُ يَا رَبُّ إِلَهِي. BSB BSB: I wait for You, O LORD; You will answer, O Lord my God.
16 GLT لِأَنِّي قُلْتُ: «لِئَلَّا يَشْمَتُوا بِي». عِنْدَمَا زَلَّتْ قَدَمِي تَعَظَّمُوا عَلَيَّ. BSB BSB: For I said, “Let them not gloat over me—those who taunt me when my foot slips.”
17 GLT لِأَنِّي مُوشِكٌ أَنْ أَظْلَعَ، وَوَجَعِي مُقَابِلِي دَائِمًا. BSB BSB: For I am ready to fall, and my pain is ever with me.
18 GLT لِأَنَّنِي أُخْبِرُ بِإِثْمِي، وَأَغْتَمُّ مِنْ خَطِيَّتِي. BSB BSB: Yes, I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.
19 GLT وَأَمَّا أَعْدَائِي فَأَحْيَاءٌ. عَظُمُوا. وَٱلَّذِينَ يُبْغِضُونَنِي ظُلْمًا كَثُرُوا. BSB BSB: Many are my enemies without cause, and many hate me without reason.
20 GLT وَٱلْمُجَازُونَ عَنِ ٱلْخَيْرِ بِشَرٍّ، يُقَاوِمُونَنِي لِأَجْلِ ٱتِّبَاعِي ٱلصَّلَاحَ. BSB BSB: Those who repay my good with evil attack me for pursuing the good.
21 GLT لَا تَتْرُكْنِي يَا رَبُّ. يَاإِلَهِي، لَا تَبْعُدْ عَنِّي. BSB BSB: Do not forsake me, O LORD; be not far from me, O my God.
22 GLT أَسْرِعْ إِلَى مَعُونَتِي يَا رَبُّ يَا خَلَاصِي. BSB BSB: Come quickly to help me, O Lord my Savior.
