Behold, I will deliver it into your hand this very day, and you will know that I am the LORD.’”

And after them, he assembled the rest of the Israelite troops, 7,000 in all.

Now Ben-hadad had sent out scouts, who reported to him, “Men are marching out of Samaria.”

So the Arameans fled, with the Israelites in pursuit. But Ben-hadad king of Aram escaped on horseback with the cavalry.

That is why they prevailed over us. Instead, we should fight them on the plains; surely then we will prevail.

27 ULB তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলক গোটোৱা হৈছিল আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ কাৰণে যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ আহাৰীয় দ্ৰব্য যোগোৱা আছিল। তেওঁলোকে অৰামীয়াসকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যাত্ৰা কৰিলে আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ সন্মুখত ছাউনি পাতিলে। তাতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তানসকলক ছাগলী পোৱালিৰ দুটা সৰু জাকৰ নিচিনা দেখা গ’ল, কিন্তু অৰামীয়াসকল দেশ জুৰি আছিল। BSB BSB: The Israelites also mobilized, gathered supplies, and marched out to meet them. The Israelites camped before them like two small flocks of goats, while the Arameans covered the countryside.
28 ULB সেই সময়ত ঈশ্বৰৰ এজন লোক আহি ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাক ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: অৰামীয়াসকলে কৈছে যে, যিহোৱা পৰ্ব্বতীয়া ঈশ্ৱৰ, সমথলত থকা ঈশ্ৱৰ নহয়, এই কাৰণে মই সেই মহালোকসমূহক তোমাৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰি দিম, তেতিয়া ময়েই যে যিহোৱা, সেই বিষয়ে তোমালোকে জানিবা’।” BSB BSB: Then the man of God approached the king of Israel and said, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Because the Arameans have said that the LORD is a god of the hills and not of the valleys, I will deliver all this great army into your hand. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”

Ben-hadad also fled to the city and hid in an inner room.

Let us go out to the king of Israel with sackcloth around our waists and ropes around our heads. Perhaps he will spare your life.”

He is my brother.”

Then Ben-hadad came out, and Ahab had him come up into his chariot.

So he made a treaty with him and sent him away.

36 ULB তেতিয়া তেওঁ তেওঁক ক’লে, তুমি যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য নমনাৰ কাৰণে তুমি মোৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা যোৱা মাত্ৰকে এটা সিংহই তোমাক বধ কৰিব; পাছত তেওঁ তেওঁৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা যোৱা মাত্ৰকে এটা সিংহই তেওঁক পাই বধ কৰিলে। BSB BSB: Then the prophet said to him, “Because you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, as soon as you depart from me a lion will kill you.” And when he left, a lion found him and killed him.
37 ULB তেওঁ আৰু এজন লোকক পাই ক’লে, “মই বিনয় কৰো, মোক মাৰা।” তাতে সেই মানুহজনে তেওঁক মাৰি তেওঁক আঘাত কৰিলে। BSB BSB: Then the prophet found another man and said, “Strike me, please!” So the man struck him and wounded him,

If he goes missing for any reason, your life will be exchanged for his life, or you will weigh out a talent of silver.’
40 ULB কিন্তু আপোনাৰ এই দাসে ইফালে সিফালে কামত লাগি থাকোঁতে, সেই লোকজন পলাই গ’ল।” তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই তেওঁক ক’লে, “তেন্তে তোমাৰ তেনে দণ্ড হওঁক- তুমি নিজেই তাক নিশ্চয় কৰিলা।” BSB BSB: But while your servant was busy here and there, the man disappeared.” And the king of Israel said to him, “So shall your judgment be; you have pronounced it on yourself.”

42 ULB পাছত তেওঁ ৰজাক ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, ‘মই যি জনক বিনাশৰ অৰ্থে বৰ্জিত কৰিছিলোঁ, তুমি নিজ হাতৰ পৰা তেওঁক এৰি দিলা; এই কাৰণে তেওঁৰ প্ৰাণৰ সলনি তোমাৰ প্ৰাণ আৰু তেওঁৰ প্ৰজাসকলৰ সলনি তোমাৰ প্ৰজাসকলৰ প্রাণ যাব’।” BSB BSB: And the prophet said to the king, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Because you have let slip from your hand the man I had devoted to destruction, your life will be exchanged for his life, and your people for his people.’”
