Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on the altar there.
5 ULB গিবিয়োনতে যিহোৱাই ৰাতি সপোনত চলোমনক দৰ্শন দিলে; তেওঁ ক’লে, “খোজা! মই তোমাক কি বৰ দিম।” BSB BSB: One night at Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said, “Ask, and I will give it to you!”

And You have maintained this loving devotion by giving him a son to sit on his throne this very day.

But I am only a little child, not knowing how to go out or come in.

For who is able to govern this great people of Yours?”
10 ULB চলোমনে এনে বৰ খোজাত, প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনাত সন্তোষ পালে। BSB BSB: Now it pleased the Lord that Solomon had made this request.
11 ULB তেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁক ক’লে, “কিয়নো তুমি এনে বিষয় বিচাৰিলা, আৰু নিজৰ কাৰণে দীঘল আয়ুস বা ঐশ্বৰ্য্য বা তোমাৰ শত্ৰুৰ প্ৰাণ নুখুজিলা, কিন্তু সুবিচাৰ কৰিবলৈ নিজৰ কাৰণে জ্ঞান বিচাৰিলা, BSB BSB: So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this instead of requesting long life or wealth for yourself or death for your enemies—but you have asked for discernment to administer justice—

I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been another like you, nor will there ever be.
13 ULB ইয়াৰ বাহিৰেও তুমি নোখোজা সেই ঐশ্বৰ্য্য আৰু সন্মান তোমাক দিলা। তোমাৰ সমস্ত জীৱন কালত ৰজাসকলৰ মাজত কোনো তোমাৰ তুল্য নহ’ব। BSB BSB: Moreover, I will give you what you did not request—both riches and honor—so that during all your days no man in any kingdom will be your equal.

So he returned to Jerusalem, stood before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. Then he held a feast for all his servants.

She laid him in her bosom and put her dead son at my bosom.

But when I examined him, I realized that he was not the son I had borne.”
22 ULB তেতিয়া দ্বিতীয় জনী মহিলাই ক’লে, “নহয়, জীয়াই থকা ল’ৰাটি মোৰ, মৰা জনহে তোমাৰ ল’ৰা।” তেতিয়া প্ৰথম জনীয়ে ক’লে, “নহয় নহয়, মৰা ল’ৰাটি তোমাৰ, জীয়াই থকা জনহে মোৰ।” এই দৰে তেওঁলোক দুয়োজনীয়ে ৰজাৰ আগত নিবেদন কৰিলে। BSB BSB: “No,” said the other woman, “the living one is my son and the dead one is your son.” But the first woman insisted, “No, the dead one is yours and the living one is mine.” So they argued before the king.
23 ULB তেতিয়াই ৰজাই ক’লে, “এইজনীয়ে কৈছে, ‘জীয়াই থকা ল’ৰাটি মোৰ, মৰা ল’ৰাটি তোমাৰ’, আৰু আন জনীয়ে কৈছে, ‘নহয় নহয়, মৰা ল’ৰাটি তোমাৰ, জীয়াই থকা ল’ৰাটো মোৰ।” BSB BSB: Then the king replied, “This woman says, ‘My son is alive and yours is dead,’ but that woman says, ‘No, your son is dead and mine is alive.’”

25 ULB তেতিয়া ৰজাই ক’লে, “এই জীয়াই থকা লৰাটিক দুডোখৰ কৰি, এজনীক এফাল আৰু আন জনীক এফাল দিয়া।” BSB BSB: and the king declared, “Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other.”

Do not kill him!” But the other woman said, “He will be neither mine nor yours. Cut him in two!”
