And from the roof he saw a woman bathing—a very beautiful woman.

(Now she had just purified herself from her uncleanness.) Then she returned home.
5 ULB পাছত সেই মহিলা গৰাকী গৰ্ভৱতী হোৱাত, তেওঁ মানুহ পঠিয়াই দায়ূদক এই বাতৰি দি ক’লে বোলে, “মই গৰ্ভৱতী হ’লোঁ।” BSB BSB: And the woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, “I am pregnant.”
6 ULB তেতিয়া দায়ূদে যোৱাবৰ ওচৰলৈ কৈ পঠিয়ালে বোলে, “হিত্তীয়া ঊৰিয়াক মোৰ ওচৰলৈ পঠিয়াই দিয়া।” তাতে যোৱাবে ঊৰিয়াক দায়ূদৰ ওচৰলৈ পঠিয়াই দিলে। BSB BSB: At this, David sent orders to Joab: “Send me Uriah the Hittite.” So Joab sent him to David.
7 ULB যেতিয়া ঊৰিয়া তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল, দায়ূদে তেওঁক যোৱাবৰ বিষয়ে, সৈন্যসকলৰ আৰু যুদ্ধৰ বাতৰি সুধিলে। BSB BSB: When Uriah came to him, David asked how Joab and the troops were doing and how the war was going.

How can I go to my house to eat and drink and sleep with my wife? As surely as you live, and as your soul lives, I will not do such a thing!”
12 ULB তেতিয়া দায়ূদে উৰিয়াক ক’লে, “তুমি আজিও ইয়াতে থাকা, কাইলৈ মই তোমাক বিদায় দিম।” তাতে উৰিয়াই সেইদিনা আৰু তাৰ পাছ দিনাখনো যিৰূচালেমত থাকিল। BSB BSB: “Stay here one more day,” David said to Uriah, “and tomorrow I will send you back.” So Uriah stayed in Jerusalem that day and the next.

And in the evening Uriah went out to lie down on his cot with his master’s servants, but he did not go home.

15 ULB দায়ূদে পত্ৰখনত ইয়াকে লিখিছিল বোলে, “তোমালোকে উৰিয়াক আটাইতকৈ প্ৰবল যুদ্ধৰ সন্মুখত ৰাখি থবা আৰু সি যেন আঘাত পাই মৰে সেই বাবে তোমালোক তাৰ পৰা পাছ হুঁহকি যাবা।” BSB BSB: In the letter he wrote: “Put Uriah at the front of the fiercest battle; then withdraw from him, so that he may be struck down and killed.”

BSB BSB: if the king’s anger flares, he may ask you, ‘Why did you get so close to the city to fight? Did you not realize they would shoot from atop the wall?

Was it not a woman who dropped an upper millstone on him from the wall, so that he died in Thebez? Why did you get so close to the wall?’ If he asks you this, then you are to say, ‘Your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead as well.’”
22 ULB পাছে সেই দূতে গৈ দায়ূদৰ গুৰিত উপস্থিত হৈ, যোৱাবে কৈ পঠোৱা সকলো কথা তেওঁৰ আগত জনালে। BSB BSB: So the messenger set out and reported to David all that Joab had sent him to say.
23 ULB সেই দূতে দায়ূদক ক’লে, “সেই শত্ৰুসকল আমাতকৈ পাচত আমাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে প্ৰবল হৈ পথাৰলৈ আমাৰ ওচৰলৈকে ওলাই আহিছিল; তেতিয়া আমি নগৰৰ দুৱাৰ-মুখলৈকে সিহঁতৰ পাছে পাছে খেদি গৈছিলো৷ BSB BSB: The messenger said to David, “The men overpowered us and came out against us in the field, but we drove them back to the entrance of the gate.
24 ULB কাঁড়মৰা লোকসকলে গড়ৰ ওপৰৰ পৰা আপোনাৰ দাসসকললৈ কাঁড় মাৰিলে; তাতে মহাৰাজৰ কেতবোৰ দাস মৰিল আৰু আপোনাৰ দাস হিত্তীয়াৰ উৰিয়াও মৰিল।” BSB BSB: Then the archers shot at your servants from the wall, and some of the king’s servants were killed. And your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead as well.”
25 ULB তেতিয়া দায়ূদে সেই দূতক ক’লে, “তুমি গৈ যোৱাবক এইদৰে ক’বা, ‘ইয়াত তুমি অসন্তোষ নকৰিবা কিয়নো তৰোৱালে যেনেকৈ এজনক, তেনেকৈ আনজনকো গ্ৰাস কৰে; তুমি নগৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আৰু ঘোৰ যুদ্ধ কৰি তাক উচ্ছন্ন কৰা। এইদৰে তেওঁক আশ্বাস দিবা। BSB BSB: Then David told the messenger, “Say this to Joab: ‘Do not let this matter upset you, for the sword devours one as well as another. Strengthen your attack against the city and demolish it.’ Encourage him with these words.”
26 ULB পাছে উৰিয়াৰ পত্নীয়ে নিজ স্বামী উৰিয়াৰ মৃত্যু-সম্বাদ পাই তেওঁ স্বামীৰ বাবে গভীৰ শোক কৰিলে। BSB BSB: When Uriah’s wife heard that her husband was dead, she mourned for him.
27 ULB পাছে শোকৰ দিন শেষ হোৱাত, দায়ূদে মানুহ পঠিয়াই তেওঁক নিজৰ ঘৰলৈ অনালে, তাতে তেওঁ তেওঁৰ পত্নী হৈ তেওঁলৈ এটি পুত্ৰ প্ৰসৱ কৰিলে৷ কিন্তু দায়ূদে কৰা সেইকৰ্মত যিহোৱাই অসন্তুষ্ট হ’ল। BSB BSB: And when the time of mourning was over, David had her brought to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done was evil in the sight of the LORD.
