1 ULB অব্ৰামৰ বয়স যেতিয়া নিৰানব্বই বছৰ হ’ল, তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই অব্ৰামক দৰ্শন দি ক’লে, “মই সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বৰ; মোৰ লগত চলাচল কৰা আৰু সিদ্ধ হোৱা। BSB BSB: When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty. Walk before Me and be blameless.
2 ULB মোৰ আৰু তোমাৰ মাজত মই মোৰ বিধি স্থাপন কৰিম আৰু মই তোমাৰ বংশক অতিশয় ৰূপে বৃদ্ধি কৰিম।” BSB BSB: I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and I will multiply you exceedingly.”
3 ULB তেতিয়া অব্ৰামে উবুৰি খাই মাটিত মুখ থৈ প্রণিপাত কৰিলে আৰু ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁৰে সৈতে কথা ক’বলৈ ধৰিলে। BSB BSB: Then Abram fell facedown, and God said to him,

5 ULB তোমাক অব্ৰাম (মহান পিতা) বুলি পুণৰ কোৱা নহ’ব, কিন্তু এতিয়াৰ পৰা তোমাৰ নাম অব্ৰাহামহে (অনেক লোকৰ পিতা) হ’ব; কিয়নো মই তোমাক এক বৃহৎ জাতিৰ আদিপিতৃ হ’বলৈ নিৰূপণ কৰিলো। BSB BSB: No longer will you be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.
6 ULB মই তোমাৰ বংশ অতিশয়ৰূপে বৃদ্ধি কৰিম। তোমাৰ পৰা মই অনেক নতুন জাতিৰ সৃষ্টি কৰিম আৰু তোমাৰ পৰা ৰজাসকলৰো জন্ম হ’ব। BSB BSB: I will make you exceedingly fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will descend from you.
7 ULB এই বিধি মোৰ, তোমাৰ আৰু তোমাৰ ভাবী-বংশৰ মাজত পুৰুষানুক্রমে স্থাপন কৰিলোঁ; ই এক চিৰকালৰ বিধি হ’ব। মই তোমাৰ আৰু তোমাৰ ভাবী-বংশৰ লোকসকলৰ ঈশ্বৰ হ’বলৈ মোৰ বিধি স্থাপন কৰিলোঁ। BSB BSB: I will establish My covenant as an everlasting covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.
8 ULB যি কনান দেশত তুমি প্রবাসী হৈ বাস কৰিছা, মই তোমাক আৰু তোমাৰ ভাবী-বংশক এই সমুদায় দেশ সদাকালৰ অধিকাৰৰ অৰ্থে দিম আৰু মই তেওঁলোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ হ’ম।” BSB BSB: And to you and your descendants I will give the land where you are residing—all the land of Canaan—as an eternal possession; and I will be their God.”
9 ULB পুণৰ ঈশ্বৰে আব্ৰাহামক ক’লে, “তোমালোকৰ বাবে মোৰ এই বিধি পালন কৰিব লাগিব; তুমি আৰু তোমাৰ ভাবী-বংশই পুৰুষানুক্ৰেমে তাক পালন কৰিব লাগে। BSB BSB: God also said to Abraham, “You must keep My covenant—you and your descendants in the generations after you.
11 ULB তোমালোকে নিজ নিজ লিঙ্গাগ্ৰ-চৰ্ম্ম ছেদন কৰিবা আৰু সেয়ে মোৰে আৰু তোমালোকৰ মাজত স্থাপিত হোৱা নিয়মৰ চিন হ’ব। BSB BSB: You are to circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, and this will be a sign of the covenant between Me and you.
12 ULB বংশানুক্রমে তোমালোকৰ প্রত্যেকজন পুত্ৰ-সন্তানৰ জন্মৰ আঠ দিনৰ দিনা এই চুন্নৎ হ’ব লাগিব; বংশৰ কোনো নহলেওঁ তোমালোকৰ ঘৰত জন্ম হোৱা আৰু বিদেশীৰ পৰা কিনি লোৱা দাসসকলৰো চুন্নৎ হ’ব লাগিব। BSB BSB: Generation after generation, every male must be circumcised when he is eight days old, including those born in your household and those purchased from a foreigner—even those who are not your offspring.
13 ULB তোমাৰ ঘৰত জন্ম হোৱা পুৰুষ আৰু তুমি কিনি লোৱা সকলো পুৰুষৰে চুন্নৎ হ’বই লাগিব; এইদৰে তোমালোকৰ শৰীৰত মোৰ বিধি চিৰকালৰ এক নিয়ম হ’ব। BSB BSB: Whether they are born in your household or purchased, they must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh will be an everlasting covenant.
14 ULB যি জন পুৰুষৰ লিঙ্গগ্ৰ-চৰ্ম্ম ছেদন কৰা নহয়, এনে চুন্নৎ নোহোৱা পুৰুষক নিজ জাতিৰ মাজৰ পৰা বহিস্কাৰ কৰা হ’ব; কাৰণ তেওঁ মোৰ বিধি অমান্য কৰিলে।” BSB BSB: But if any male is not circumcised, he will be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant.”
15 ULB ঈশ্বৰে অব্ৰাহামক ক’লে, “তোমাৰ ভাৰ্য্যা চাৰীক আৰু চাৰী বুলি নামাতিবা; কিন্তু তেওঁৰ নাম চাৰা ৰাণী হ’ব। BSB BSB: Then God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, do not call her Sarai, for her name is to be Sarah.
16 ULB মই তেওঁক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিম আৰু তেওঁৰ পৰা তোমাক এটি পুত্ৰও দিম; মই তেওঁক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিম যাতে তেওঁ অনেক জাতি আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ ৰজাসকলৰ আদিমাতৃ হ’ব।” BSB BSB: And I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her, and she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will descend from her.”
17 ULB এই কথা শুনি অব্ৰাহামে মাটিত উবুৰি হৈ পৰিল আৰু হাঁহি মাৰি মনতে ক’লে, “এশ বছৰীয়া বৃদ্ধই সন্তান পাবনে আৰু নব্বৈ বছৰীয়া চাৰাই জানো সন্তান প্ৰসৱ কৰিব পাৰে?” BSB BSB: Abraham fell facedown. Then he laughed and said to himself, “Can a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Can Sarah give birth at the age of ninety?”
19 ULB ঈশ্বৰে ক’লে, “নহয়, তোমাৰ ভাৰ্য্যা চাৰাই তোমালৈ এটি পুত্ৰ প্ৰসৱ কৰিব আৰু তুমি তেওঁৰ নাম ইচহাক হাঁহি ৰাখিবা; মই চিৰকালৰ এক বিধিৰূপে ইচহাক আৰু তেওঁৰ ভাবী-বংশৰ লোকসকলৰ সৈতে মোৰ বিধি স্থাপন কৰিম। BSB BSB: But God replied, “Your wife Sarah will indeed bear you a son, and you are to name him Isaac. I will establish My covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.
21 ULB কিন্তু মোৰ নিয়মটি হ’লে অহা বছৰ এই সময়তে চাৰাই তোমালৈ যি সন্তান প্ৰসৱ কৰিব, সেই ইচহাকৰ সৈতেহে স্থাপন কৰিম।” BSB BSB: But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this time next year.”
22 ULB অব্ৰাহামৰ লগত কথা কৈ শেষ কৰাৰ পাছত ঈশ্বৰ তেওঁৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা ওপৰলৈ গুছি গ’ল। BSB BSB: When He had finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him.
23 ULB তাৰ পাছত ঈশ্বৰৰ কথা অনুসাৰে অব্ৰাহামে তেওঁৰ পুতেক ইশ্মায়েলক, তেওঁৰ ঘৰত জন্ম হোৱা আৰু কিনি লোৱা দাসসকলক অৰ্থাৎ অব্ৰাহামৰ ঘৰত যিমান পুৰুষ আছিল, তেওঁ সেই দিনাই সকলোৰে লিঙ্গাগ্ৰ-চৰ্ম্ম ছেদন কৰিলে। BSB BSB: On that very day Abraham took his son Ishmael and all those born in his household or purchased with his money—every male among the members of Abraham’s household—and he circumcised them, just as God had told him.
24 ULB অব্ৰাহামে যেতিয়া নিজৰ লিঙ্গাগ্ৰ-চৰ্ম্ম ছেদন কৰিছিল, সেই সময়ত তেওঁৰ বয়স আছিল নিৰানব্বৈ বছৰ আৰু BSB BSB: So Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised,
25 ULB তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ ইশ্মায়েলৰ বয়স আছিল তেৰ বছৰ। BSB BSB: and his son Ishmael was thirteen;
26 ULB সেই একে দিনাই অব্ৰাহাম আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ ইশ্মায়েল দুয়োৰে চুন্নৎ কৰা হ’ল। BSB BSB: Abraham and his son Ishmael were circumcised on the same day.
27 ULB তেওঁৰ লগতে ঘৰৰ আন সকলো পুৰুষৰ অর্থাৎ তেওঁৰ ঘৰত জন্ম হোৱা আৰু বিদেশীৰ পৰা যি সকলক কিনি লোৱা হৈছিল, সেই সকলো পুৰুষৰে চুন্নৎ কৰা হ’ল। BSB BSB: And all the men of Abraham’s household—both servants born in his household and those purchased from foreigners—were circumcised with him.
