1. 1BHUऊ दुनिया के सुरु लग रथै, हम इके सुने हबन, हम अपन आंखी लग देखे हबन, हम उके धियान लग देखन अउ इके खुदय अपन हाथन लग छुय हबन, हम ऊ बचन के बारे हे गुठेथन जउन जीवन हबै।BSBBSB: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have gazed upon and touched with our own hands—this is the Word of life.
2. 2BHUअउ हइ जीवन परगट करे गइस, हइ उहै जीवन हबै जउन बाफ के इहां रथै अउ हमर हे परगट करे गय रथै, हम इके देखे हबन ओखर बारे हे गवाही देयत अउ तुमही सबरोज के संदेस सुनाथन।BSBBSB: And this is the life that was revealed; we have seen it and testified to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us.
3. 3BHUहम उके देखे हबन अउ सुने हबन अब तुमो उहै के सिक्छा देथा, ता तुमो हमर संग संगति रखा हमर हइ संगति बाफ अउ ओखर टोरवा यीसु मसीह के संग हबै।BSBBSB: We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
4. 4BHUअउ हम हइ बातन के तुमही इहैनिता लिखथन कि हमर मगन पूर हुइ जाय।BSBBSB: We write these things so that our joy may be complete.
5. 5BHUअउ जउन संदेस हम ओखर लग सुने हबन अउ अब तुमो के सुनाथन, भगवान उजियार हबै अउ ओहमा कउनो अंधियार नेहको हबै।BSBBSB: And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
6. 6BHUअगर हम कथन कि ओखर संग संगति रखथन अउ अंधियार हे चलथन ता हम झूठ बोलथन अउ सच्चाई के जीवन नेहको जीथन।BSBBSB: If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7. 7BHUअगर हम उजियार हे चलथन जउन मेर ऊ उजियार हे हबै, ता हमर अक दूसर लग संगति हबै अउ ओखर टोरवा यीसु मसीह के खून हमही सगलू पाप लग सुध्द के देथै।BSBBSB: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8. 8BHUअगर हम कथन कि हम कुछु पाप नेहको करे हबन, ता हम अपन खुद के धोखा देथन अउ हमर हे सत्य नेहको हबै।BSBBSB: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9. 9BHUअगर हम अपन पाप के मान लेबो, ता ऊ हमर पाप के छमा करी, अउ हमर सगलू अधरम लग सुध्द करी, काखे ऊ बिस्वास के काबिल अउ धरमी मनसे हबै।BSBBSB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10. 10BHUअगर हम कथन कि पाप नेहको करे हबन, ता उके ठगरा ठहराउथन अउ ओखर बचन हमर हे नेहको हबै।BSBBSB: If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
