8 PBB kemuliaon ngan kehinaon, sesumpahon ngan pujion, deanggap sebagai penipu-penipi padohal kami bonor. BSB BSB: through glory and dishonor, slander and praise; viewed as imposters, yet genuine;
9 PBB kami upa hopi dekenal, hambuk tekenal, upa nyo lanak mati, hambuk kolelah, kami hidup; upa urang nyo dehajar hambok hopi tebunoh. BSB BSB: unknown, yet well-known; dying, and yet we live on; punished, yet not killed;
10 PBB upa nyo bedukacita, cuma selalu bersukacita, kami mesken, cuma membuat urang loen kayo, hopi ado apo-apo, cuma memeleki segelo sesuatu. BSB BSB: sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

Apo, persamoon apokah nyo terdepot antaro tarang ngan kolom? BSB BSB: Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
15 PBB Kesepakaton apokah nyo demeleki Kristus ngan Belial? Apo bageon apekah nyo ado antaro urang pecayo ngan urang nyo hopi pecayo? BSB BSB: What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
16 PBB Ngan, kesepakaton apokah nyo ado antaro Baet Allah ngan berhala-berhala? Sabab, kite adolah Baet Allah nyo hidup, upa firman Allah, “Ake nak tinggal de delom rombongon ngan bejelon de antaro rombongon, ngan ake nak menjedi Allah rombongon iye, ngan rombongon nak menjedi umat-ke.” BSB BSB: What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.”
17 PBB “Ulenyo iye, keluorlah kowe deri tangah-tangah rombongon, ngan bepisahlah,” ujo Tuhan. “ngan, jengonlah menjamah ape nyo najes, mengka ake nak menerimo kowe.” BSB BSB: “Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
18 PBB “Ngan, Ake nak menjedi Bepa bageme, ngan kowe nak menjedi anak-ankak-ke jenton-jenton ngan anak-ank-ke betina,” demikianlah firman Tuhan, nyo Mahakuaso. BSB BSB: And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
