5 PBDK Ulah gana hio, ada menghakimi sa mete waktu, aye hio sa mete Tuhan hawi. Aye sa mat na rawa hal-hal sa sampadina ta huang maiyeng nihi mat menyatakan maksud-maksud atei. Balalu, setiap ulun sagar narime pujian neke Allah Talla. BSB BSB: Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.

BSB BSB: Already you have all you want. Already you have become rich. Without us, you have become kings. How I wish you really were kings, so that we might be kings with you!
9 PBDK Gana, menurutku, Allah Talla haot ngandak kami, para rasul, ta uneng sa terakhir, sameh ulun-uun sa naputus nihi hukuman matei; mat kami jari tontonan ulun ta dunia, baik makai malaikat-malaikat maupun marasia. BSB BSB: For it seems to me that God has displayed us apostles at the end of the procession, like prisoners appointed for death. We have become a spectacle to the whole world, to angels as well as to men.
10 PBDK Kami bakoi marati demi Kristus, tapi hanyu bijaksana ta huang Kristus. Kami maleme, tapi hanyu kuat. Hanyu terhormat, tetapi kami hina. BSB BSB: We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we are dishonored.
11 PBDK Hampe wayah iti, kami kaluhan nihi haus dan lapar, ba pakaian compang-camping, napasat, nihi welum mengembara. BSB BSB: To this very hour we are hungry and thirsty, we are poorly clothed, we are brutally treated, we are homeless.
12 PBDK Kami rara, bagawi nihi tangan sa raerai. Ketika kami ulah mamai, kami memberkati. Ketika kami na siksa, kami batahan. BSB BSB: We work hard with our own hands. When we are vilified, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;
13 PBDK Ketika kami na fitnah, kami nuing nihi ramah. Bahkan, hampe wayah inia, kami jari sameh sampah dunia ina, kotoran neke hadi eha'e. BSB BSB: when we are slandered, we answer gently. Up to this moment we have become the scum of the earth, the refuse of the world.
14 PBDK Aku manulis hal-hal it bakoi pakai mampamangan hanyu, melainkan mat pakai nganasihat hanyu sameh hadi nakia sa na kasihi ulah ku. BSB BSB: I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you as my beloved children.
15 PBDK Ulah gana, sekalipun hanyu ka ampun seribu guru ta huang Kristus, hanyu koi ka ampun ajoh Ambah. Ulah huang Yesus Kristus, akulah sa jari ambah nu mitah injil. BSB BSB: Even if you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.
16 PBDK Jari, aku mendorong hanyu, jarilah ulun sa menurut contoh ku. BSB BSB: Therefore I urge you to imitate me.
17 PBDK Hio lah, aku haot mengutus gi hanyu Timotius, anak ku sa na kasih nihi sa setia ta huang Tuhan. Aye sagar mengingat gi hanyu nai jalan-jalanku ta huang Kristus, sameh sa na ajar ku ta awe-awe, ta huang setiap jemaat. BSB BSB: That is why I have sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which is exactly what I teach everywhere in every church.
18 PBDK Papire teke hanyu jari Sombong, seolah-olah aku bakoi hawi lagi napot hanyu. BSB BSB: Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you.
19 PBDK Tapi, aku hinang hawi napot hanyu, amun Tuhan ba pangakan, dan aku ngarasa bakoi ekat paneran ulun-ulun sombong hio, BSB BSB: But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only what these arrogant people are saying, but what power they have.
20 PBDK tapi kuasa here lei. Gana Kerajaan Allah Talla bakoi huang antuahn, melainkan huang kuasa. BSB BSB: For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.
21 PBDK Inon sa na kahandak nu? Inonkah aku harus hawi dapot hanyu nihi tungkeh atawa nihi Roh kelemah lembutan. BSB BSB: Which do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and with a gentle spirit?
