4 ULB যে ব্যক্তি বিশেষ ভাষায় কথা বলে, সে নিজেকে গেঁথে তোলে, কিন্তু যে ব্যক্তি ভাববাণী বলে, সে মণ্ডলীকে গেঁথে তোলে। BSB BSB: The one who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but the one who prophesies edifies the church.

13 ULB এই জন্য যে ব্যক্তি বিশেষ ভাষায় কথা বলে, সে প্রার্থনা করুক, যেন সে অনুবাদ করে দিতে পারে। BSB BSB: Therefore, the one who speaks in a tongue should pray that he may interpret.

20 ULB ভাইয়েরা এবং বোনেরা, তোমরা চিন্তা-ভাবনায় শিশুর মত হয়ো না, বরঞ্চ হিংসাতে শিশুদের মত হও, কিন্তু বুদ্ধিতে পরিপক্ক হও। BSB BSB: Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature.

27 ULB যদি কেউ বিশেষ ভাষায় কথা বলে, তবে দুই জন, কিংবা বেশি হলে তিনজন বলুক, এক এক করে বলুক এবং কেউ একজন অর্থ বুঝিয়ে দিক। BSB BSB: If anyone speaks in a tongue, two, or at most three, should speak in turn, and someone must interpret.
28 ULB কিন্তু যদি সেখানে কোনো অনুবাদক না থাকে, তবে সেই ব্যক্তি মণ্ডলীতে নীরব হয়ে থাকুক, কেবল নিজের ও ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশ্যে কথা বলুক। BSB BSB: But if there is no interpreter, he should remain silent in the church and speak only to himself and God.
29 ULB আর ভাববাদীরা দুই কিংবা তিনজন কথা বলুক, অন্য সবাই সে কি বলল তা উপলব্ধি করুক। BSB BSB: Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.
30 ULB কিন্তু এমন আর কারও কাছে যদি কিছু প্রকাশিত হয়, যে বসে রয়েছে, তবে সেই ব্যক্তি নীরব থাকুক। BSB BSB: And if a revelation comes to someone who is seated, the first speaker should stop.
31 ULB কারণ তোমরা সবাই এক এক করে ভাববাণী বলতে পার, যেন সবাই শিক্ষা পায়, ও সবাই উত্সাহিত হয়। BSB BSB: For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.
32 ULB আর ভাববাদীদের আত্মা ভাববাদীদের নিয়ন্ত্রণে থাকে; BSB BSB: The spirits of prophets are subject to prophets.
33 ULB কারণ ঈশ্বর বিশৃঙ্খলার ঈশ্বর না, কিন্তু শান্তির, যেমন পবিত্র লোকদের সকল মণ্ডলীতে হয়ে থাকে। BSB BSB: For God is not a God of disorder, but of peace—as in all the churches of the saints.

37 ULB কেউ যদি নিজেকে ভাববাদী কিংবা আত্মিক বলে মনে করে, তবে সে বুঝুক, আমি তোমাদের কাছে যা যা লিখলাম, সে সব প্রভুর আজ্ঞা। BSB BSB: If anyone considers himself a prophet or spiritual person, let him acknowledge that what I am writing you is the Lord’s command.
38 ULB কিন্তু যদি না জানে, সে না জানুক। BSB BSB: But if anyone ignores this, he himself will be ignored.
39 ULB অতএব, হে আমার ভাইয়েরা এবং বোনেরা, তোমরা ভাববাণী বলবার জন্য আগ্রহী হও; এবং বিশেষ বিশেষ ভাষা বলতে বারণ কোরো না। BSB BSB: So, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
40 ULB কিন্তু সবই সুন্দর ও সুনিয়মিতভাবে করা হোক। BSB BSB: But everything must be done in a proper and orderly manner.
