1 ULB তখন সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে বললেন, তুমি, হারোণ, নাদব, অবীহূ এবং ইস্রায়েলের প্রাচীনবর্গের সত্তর জন, “তোমরা আমার কাছে এসো এবং দূর থেকে আমাকে প্রনাম কর। BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Come up to the LORD—you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of Israel’s elders—and you are to worship at a distance.
2 ULB কেবল মোশি সদাপ্রভুর কাছে আসতে পারে, কিন্তু অন্যরা কাছে আসবে না; আর লোকেরা তার সঙ্গে উপরে উঠবে না।” BSB BSB: Moses alone shall approach the LORD, but the others must not come near. And the people may not go up with him.”
5 ULB আর তিনি ইস্রায়েল সন্তানদের যুবকদেরকে পাঠালেন তারা সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে হোমের জন্য ও মঙ্গলের জন্য বলিরূপে ষাঁড়দেরকে বলিদান করল। BSB BSB: Then he sent out some young men of Israel, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as peace offerings to the LORD.
6 ULB তখন মোশি তার অর্ধেক রক্ত নিয়ে থালায় রাখলেন এবং অর্ধেক রক্ত বেদির উপরে ছিটিয়ে দিলেন। BSB BSB: Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and the other half he splattered on the altar.
7 ULB আর তিনি নিয়ম পুস্তকটি নিয়ে লোকদের কাছে উচ্চস্বরে পড়লেন; তাতে তারা বলল, “সদাপ্রভু যা যা বললেন, আমরা সবই পালন করব ও বাধ্য হব।” BSB BSB: Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people, who replied, “All that the LORD has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”
8 ULB পরে মোশি সেই রক্ত নিয়ে লোকদের উপরে ছিটিয়ে দিয়ে বললেন, “দেখ, এই হলো নিয়মের রক্ত, যা সদাপ্রভু তোমাদের সঙ্গে এই সব বাক্য সম্বন্ধে স্থির করেছেন। BSB BSB: So Moses took the blood, splattered it on the people, and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
9 ULB তখন মোশি ও হারোণ, নাদব, ও অবীহূ এবং ইস্রায়েলের প্রাচীনদের মধ্য থেকে সত্তর জন পর্বতে চলে গেলেন;” BSB BSB: Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,
10 ULB আর তারা ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বরকে দেখলেন; তাঁর চরণতলের জায়গা নীলকান্তমণি দিয়ে তৈরী শিলাস্তরের কার্য্য এবং আকাশের মতই নির্মল ছিল। BSB BSB: and they saw the God of Israel. Under His feet was a work like a pavement made of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself.
11 ULB আর ঈশ্বর রাগে ইস্রায়েলের অধ্যক্ষদের উপরে হাত রাখলেন না, বরং তারা ঈশ্বরকে দর্শন করলেন এবং তারা খেলেন ও পান করলেন। BSB BSB: But God did not lay His hand on the nobles of Israel; they saw Him, and they ate and drank.
12 ULB আর সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে বললেন, “তুমি পর্বতে আমার কাছে উঠে এসো এবং এই জায়গায় থাক, তাতে আমি দুটি পাথরের ফলক এবং আমার লেখা ব্যবস্থা ও আদেশ তোমাকে দেব, যেন তুমি লোকদের শিক্ষা দিতে পার।” BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay here, so that I may give you the tablets of stone, with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
13 ULB পরে মোশি ও তাঁর পরিচারক যিহোশূয় উঠলেন এবং মোশি ঈশ্বরের পর্বতে উঠলেন। BSB BSB: So Moses set out with Joshua his attendant and went up on the mountain of God.
14 ULB আর তিনি প্রাচীনদের বললেন, “আমরা যতক্ষণ না তোমাদের কাছে ফিরে না আসি, ততক্ষণ তোমরা আমাদের অপেক্ষায় এই জায়গায় থাক; আর দেখ, হারোণ ও হূর তোমাদের কাছে থাকলেন; যদি কারও কোন বিবাদ থাকে তবে সে তাদের কাছে যাক।” BSB BSB: And he said to the elders, “Wait here for us until we return to you. Aaron and Hur are here with you. Whoever has a dispute can go to them.”
15 ULB সুতরাং মোশি যখন পর্বতে উঠলেন তখন পর্বত মেঘে ঢাকা ছিল। BSB BSB: When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it,
16 ULB আর সীনয় পর্বতের উপরে সদাপ্রভুর প্রতাপ অবস্থিতি করছিল এবং ওটা ছয় দিন মেঘে ঢাকা ছিলো; পরে সপ্তম দিনে তিনি মেঘের মধ্য থেকে মোশিকে ডাকলেন। BSB BSB: and the glory of the LORD settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered it, and on the seventh day the LORD called to Moses from within the cloud.
17 ULB আর ইস্রায়েলীয়দের চোখে সদাপ্রভুর প্রতাপ পর্বতশৃঙ্গে গ্রাসকারী আগুনের মত প্রকাশিত হল। BSB BSB: And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the mountaintop in the eyes of the Israelites.
18 ULB আর মোশি মেঘের মধ্যে প্রবেশ করে পর্বতে উঠলেন। মোশি চল্লিশ দিন ও চল্লিশ রাত সেই পর্বতে ছিলেন। BSB BSB: Moses entered the cloud as he went up on the mountain, and he remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
