7 ULB এইভাবে যাকোব নিজের ছেলে নাতি, মেয়ে নাতনি প্রভৃতি সমস্ত বংশকে সঙ্গে করে মিসরে নিয়ে গেলেন। BSB BSB: Jacob took with him to Egypt his sons and grandsons, and his daughters and granddaughters—all his offspring.

20 ULB যোষেফের ছেলে মনঃশি ও ইফ্রয়িম মিসর দেশে জন্মেছিল; ওন নগরের পোটীফেরঃ যাজকের মেয়ে আসনৎ তাঁর জন্য তাদেরকে প্রসব করেছিলেন। BSB BSB: Manasseh and Ephraim were born to Joseph in the land of Egypt by Asenath daughter of Potiphera, priest of On.
21 ULB বিন্যামীনের ছেলে বেলা, বেখর, অসবেল, গেরা, নামন, এহী, রোশ, মুপপীম, হুপপীম ও অর্দ। BSB BSB: The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim, and Ard.

28 ULB পরে আগে আগে গোশনের পথ দেখবার জন্যে যাকোব নিজের আগে যিহূদাকে যোষেফের কাছে পাঠালেন; আর তাঁরা গোশন প্রদেশে পৌঁছালেন। BSB BSB: Now Jacob had sent Judah ahead of him to Joseph to get directions to Goshen. When Jacob’s family arrived in the land of Goshen,
29 ULB তখন যোষেফ নিজের রথ সাজিয়ে গোশনে তাঁর বাবা ইস্রায়েলের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে গেলেন; আর তাকে দেখা দিয়ে তাঁর গলা ধরে অনেকক্ষণ কাঁদলেন। BSB BSB: Joseph prepared his chariot and went there to meet his father Israel. Joseph presented himself to him, embraced him, and wept profusely.
30 ULB তখন ইস্রায়েল যোষেফকে বললেন, "এখন স্বচ্ছন্দে মরব, কারণ তোমার মুখ দেখতে পেলাম, তুমি এখনও জীবিত আছ। BSB BSB: Then Israel said to Joseph, “Finally I can die, now that I have seen your face and know that you are still alive!”
31 ULB পরে যোষেফ নিজের ভাইদেরকে ও বাবার আত্মীয়দেরকে বললেন, "আমি গিয়ে ফরৌণকে সংবাদ দেব, তাঁকে বলব, আমার ভাইরা ও বাবার সমস্ত আত্মীয় কনান দেশ থেকে আমার কাছে এসেছেন; BSB BSB: Joseph said to his brothers and to his father’s household, “I will go up and inform Pharaoh: ‘My brothers and my father’s household from the land of Canaan have come to me.
32 ULB তাঁরা ভেড়াপালক, তাঁরা পশুপাল রাখেন; আর তাঁদের গরু ও ভেড়ার পাল এবং সব কিছু এনেছেন।" BSB BSB: The men are shepherds; they raise livestock, and they have brought their flocks and herds and all that they own.’
33 ULB তাতে ফরৌণ তোমাদেরকে ডেকে যখন জিজ্ঞাসা করবেন, "তোমাদের ব্যবসা কি?" BSB BSB: When Pharaoh summons you and asks, ‘What is your occupation?’
34 ULB তখন তোমরা বলবে, "আপনার এই দাসরা পূর্বপুরুষদের ছেলেবেলা থেকে আজ পর্যন্ত পশুপাল রেখে আসছে;" তাতে তোমরা গোশন প্রদেশে বাস করতে পারবে; কারণ পশুপালক মাত্রেই মিসরীয়দের ঘৃণার জিনিস। BSB BSB: you are to say, ‘Your servants have raised livestock ever since our youth—both we and our fathers.’ Then you will be allowed to settle in the land of Goshen, since all shepherds are detestable to the Egyptians.”
