2 ULB সেই দিন পুরোহিত ও সাধারণ লোকদের, প্রভু ও চাকরের, কর্ত্রী ও দাসীর, ক্রেতার ও বিক্রেতার, যে ধার করে ও যে ধার দেয় তাদের এবং ঋণী ও ঋণদাতার সবাই একই রকম হবে। BSB BSB: people and priest alike, servant and master, maid and mistress, buyer and seller, lender and borrower, creditor and debtor.
3 ULB পৃথিবী সম্পূর্ণ ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হবে এবং সম্পূর্ণ টুকরো হবে; কারণ সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেছেন। BSB BSB: The earth will be utterly laid waste and thoroughly plundered. For the LORD has spoken this word.
4 ULB পৃথিবী শোকার্ত ও নিস্তেজ হল; জগৎ বিবর্ণ ও নিস্তেজ হল এবং পৃথিবীর বিশিষ্ট লোকেরা ম্লান হল। BSB BSB: The earth mourns and withers; the world languishes and fades; the exalted of the earth waste away.
5 ULB পৃথিবীকে তার নিবাসীরা দূষিত করে ফেলেছে। তারা আইন-কানুন অমান্য করেছে; তারা নিয়ম লঙ্ঘন করেছে আর চিরস্থায়ী নিয়ম ভেঙ্গেছে। BSB BSB: The earth is defiled by its people; they have transgressed the laws; they have overstepped the decrees and broken the everlasting covenant.
6 ULB সেইজন্য একটা অভিশাপ পৃথিবীকে গ্রাস করল; তার লোকেরা দোষী হল। সেইজন্য পৃথিবীর বাসিন্দাদের পুড়িয়ে ফেলা হল এবং খুব কম লোকই বেঁচে আছে। BSB BSB: Therefore a curse has consumed the earth, and its inhabitants must bear the guilt; the earth’s dwellers have been burned, and only a few survive.
7 ULB নতুন আঙ্গুর-রস শুকিয়ে গিয়েছে ও আঙ্গুর লতা বিবর্ণ হবে; সব সুখী হৃদয় গভীর আর্তনাদ করবে। BSB BSB: The new wine dries up, the vine withers. All the merrymakers now groan.
8 ULB খঞ্জনির ফুর্তি, উল্লাসকারীদের কোলাহল শেষ হল, আর বীণার আনন্দ-গান সব থেমে গেল। BSB BSB: The joyful tambourines have ceased; the noise of revelers has stopped; the joyful harp is silent.
9 ULB তারা আর গান করে করে আঙ্গুর-রস খাবে না; যারা এটা পান করে তাদের মদ তেতো লাগবে। BSB BSB: They no longer sing and drink wine; strong drink is bitter to those who consume it.

14 ULB তারা চিৎকার করবে ও আনন্দে গান গাইবে। তারা সদাপ্রভুর মহিমার জন্য সমুদ্র থেকে চিত্কার করবে। BSB BSB: They raise their voices, they shout for joy; from the west they proclaim the majesty of the LORD.
15 ULB সেইজন্য পূর্ব দিকের লোকেরা সদাপ্রভুর গৌরব করুক এবং সমুদ্রের উপকূলের লোকেরা ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করুক। BSB BSB: Therefore glorify the LORD in the east. Extol the name of the LORD, the God of Israel in the islands of the sea.
16 ULB পৃথিবীর শেষ সীমা থেকে আমরা এই গান শুনেছি, “ধার্মিকের জন্য শোভা” কিন্তু আমি বললাম, “হায়! আমি দুর্বল হচ্ছি, আমি দুর্বল হচ্ছি, ধিক আমাকে। কারণ বিশ্বাসঘাতকেরা বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছে; হ্যাঁ, বিশ্বাসঘাতকেরা বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছে।” BSB BSB: From the ends of the earth we hear singing: “Glory to the Righteous One.” But I said, “I am wasting away! 21 ULB সেই দিন সদাপ্রভু উপরে ওপরের সৈন্যদল ও পৃথিবীর রাজাদেরকে প্রতিফল দেবেন BSB BSB: In that day the LORD will punish the host of heaven above and the kings of the earth below.
22 ULB তাতে তারা কূপে জড়ো হওয়া বন্দীদের মত হবে এবং কারাগারে বদ্ধ হবে, পরে অনেক দিন গেলে পর তাদের সন্ধান নেওয়া হবে। BSB BSB: They will be gathered together like prisoners in a pit. They will be confined to a dungeon and punished after many days.
23 ULB আর চাঁদ লজ্জিত ও সূর্য অপমানিত হবে, কারণ বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভু সিয়োন পর্বতে ও যিরুশালেমে রাজত্ব করবেন এবং তাঁর প্রাচীনদের সামনে প্রতাপ থাকবে। BSB BSB: The moon will be confounded and the sun will be ashamed; for the LORD of Hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before His elders with great glory.
