6 ULB “কারণ এই লোকেরা তো শীলোহের আস্তে আস্তে বয়ে যাওয়া স্রোত অগ্রাহ্য করে রৎসীনে আর রমলিয়ের ছেলেকে নিয়ে আনন্দ করছে। BSB BSB: “Because this people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoiced in Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
7 ULB অতএব প্রভু ফরাৎ নদীর প্রবল ও প্রচুর জল, অর্থাৎ অশূর রাজা ও তাঁর সব মহিমাকে তাদের ওপরে আনবেন, সে ফেঁপে সমস্ত খাল পূর্ণ করবে ও সমস্ত তীরের ওপর দিয়ে যাবে; BSB BSB: the Lord will surely bring against them the mighty floodwaters of the Euphrates—the king of Assyria and all his pomp. It will overflow its channels and overrun its banks.
9 ULB “হে জাতিরা, তোমরা ছিন্নভিন্ন হবে; হে দূরের দেশের সব লোক, শোন, যুদ্ধের জন্য তৈরী হও এবং তোমরা ছিন্নভিন্ন হবে; তোমরা অস্ত্রে সজ্জিত হও এবং তোমরা ছিন্নভিন্ন হও। BSB BSB: Huddle together, O peoples, and be shattered; pay attention, all you distant lands; prepare for battle, and be shattered; prepare for battle, and be shattered!

12 ULB তিনি বললেন, “এই লোকেরা যেসব বিষয়কে ষড়যন্ত্র বলে, তোমরা সেগুলোকে ষড়যন্ত্র বোলো না এবং এদের ভয়ে ভীত হয়ো না, ভয় পেও না। BSB BSB: “Do not call conspiracy everything these people regard as conspiracy. Do not fear what they fear; do not live in dread.
13 ULB বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভুকেই পবিত্র বলে মানো; তোমরা তাকেই ভয় কর; তাঁকেই ভয়ানক বলে মনে কর। BSB BSB: The LORD of Hosts is the One you shall regard as holy. Only He should be feared; only He should be dreaded.
14 ULB তা হলে তিনি একটা পবিত্র আশ্রয়স্থান হবেন; কিন্তু ইস্রায়েলীয়দের উভয় কুলের জন্য তিনি হোঁচট খাওয়া পাথর ও বাধাজনক পাথর হবেন, যিরূশালেমের লোকদের জন্য তিনি হবেন একটা ফাঁদ ও একটা জাল। BSB BSB: And He will be a sanctuary—but to both houses of Israel a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, to the dwellers of Jerusalem a trap and a snare.
15 ULB তাদের মধ্যে অনেকে হোঁচট খেয়ে পড়ে যাবে ও বিনষ্ট হবে এবং ফাঁদে বন্দী হয়ে ধরা পড়বে।” BSB BSB: Many will stumble over these; they will fall and be broken; they will be ensnared and captured.”
16 ULB তুমি সাক্ষ্যের কথা বন্ধ কর, আমার শিষ্যদের মধ্যে নিয়ম সীলমোহর কর। BSB BSB: Bind up the testimony and seal the law among my disciples.
17 ULB আমি সদাপ্রভুর জন্য অপেক্ষা করব, যিনি যাকোব-কুলের থেকে মুখ লুকান এবং আমি তাঁর অপেক্ষায় থাকব। BSB BSB: I will wait for the LORD, who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob. I will put my trust in Him.
18 ULB দেখ, আমি এবং সেই সন্তানেরা যাদের সদাপ্রভু আমাকে দিয়েছেন, সিয়োন পাহাড়ে বাস করেন বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভুর দেওয়া অনুসারে আমরা ইস্রায়েলের মধ্যে চিহ্ন ও অদ্ভুত লক্ষণের মতো। BSB BSB: Here am I, and the children the LORD has given me as signs and symbols in Israel from the LORD of Hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion.
20 ULB নিয়মের কাছে ও সাক্ষের কাছে খোঁজ কর । এর অন্য কথা যদি তারা না বলে তবে তাদের মধ্যে কোনো আলো নেই। BSB BSB: To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.
21 ULB তারা কষ্ট ও খিদে নিয়ে তারা দেশের মধ্যে ঘুরে বেড়াবে। খিদেতে রাগ করে নিজেদের রাজাকে ও নিজেদের ঈশ্বরকে অভিশাপ দেবে এবং ওপর দিকে মুখ তুলবে। BSB BSB: They will roam the land, dejected and hungry. When they are famished, they will become enraged; and looking upward, they will curse their king and their God.
22 ULB তারা পৃথিবীর দিকে তাকাবে এবং দেখ, সংকট, অন্ধকার আর ভয়ানক যন্ত্রণা। তাদেরকে ভীষণ অন্ধকারের মধ্যে তাদের দূর করে দেওয়া হবে। BSB BSB: Then they will look to the earth and see only distress and darkness and the gloom of anguish. And they will be driven into utter darkness.
