1 ULB সদাপ্রভু ইয়োবের সঙ্গে কথা বলে চললেন; তিনি বললেন, BSB BSB: And the LORD said to Job:
2 ULB “যে সমলোচনা করতে চায় সে কি সর্বশক্তিমানকে সংশোধনের চেষ্টা করবে? যে ঈশ্বরের সঙ্গে তর্কবিতর্ক করে, সে উত্তর দিক।” BSB BSB: “Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? Let him who argues with God give an answer.”
3 ULB তখন ইয়োব সদাপ্রভুকে উত্তর দিলেন এবং বললেন, BSB BSB: Then Job answered the LORD:
4 ULB “দেখুন, আমি তুচ্ছ; আমি কি করে আপনাকে উত্তর দেব? আমি আমার মুখের ওপর হাত রাখি। BSB BSB: “Behold, I am insignificant. How can I reply to You? I place my hand over my mouth.
5 ULB আমি একবার কথা বলেছি এবং আমি আর উত্তর দেব না; সত্যি, দুবার, কিন্তু আমি আর বলব না।” BSB BSB: I have spoken once, but I have no answer—twice, but I have nothing to add.”
6 ULB তখন সদাপ্রভু প্রচন্ড ঝড়ের মধ্য থেকে ইয়োবকে উত্তর দিলেন এবং বললেন, BSB BSB: Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said:
7 ULB তুমি এখন একজন পুরুষের মত তোমার কোমর বাঁধ, কারণ আমি তোমায় প্রশ্ন করব এবং তুমি অবশ্যই আমায় উত্তর দেবে। BSB BSB: “Now brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall inform Me.
8 ULB তুমি কি প্রকৃতপক্ষে বলতে চাইছ যে আমি অন্যায়ী? তুমি কি আমাকে দোষী করবে যাতে তুমি দাবি করতে পার যে তুমি ধার্মিক? BSB BSB: Would you really annul My justice? Would you condemn Me to justify yourself?
9 ULB তোমার কি ঈশ্বরের মত হাত আছে? তুমি কি তাঁর মত গর্জ্জন করতে পার? BSB BSB: Do you have an arm like God’s? Can you thunder with a voice like His?
10 ULB এখন নিজেকে গৌরবে এবং মর্যাদায় সাজাও; নিজেকে সম্মানে এবং মহিমায় সাজাও। BSB BSB: Then adorn yourself with majesty and splendor, and clothe yourself with honor and glory.
11 ULB তোমার প্রচন্ড রাগ ছেড়ে দাও; প্রত্যেকে অহঙ্কারীর দিকে তাকাও এবং তাকে নত কর। BSB BSB: Unleash the fury of your wrath; look on every proud man and bring him low.
12 ULB প্রত্যেকে অহঙ্কারীর দিকে তাকাও এবং তাকে নম্র কর; পাপীদের তাদের জায়গায় মাড়াও। BSB BSB: Look on every proud man and humble him; trample the wicked where they stand.
13 ULB তাদের একসঙ্গে মাটিতে কবর দাও; গোপন জায়গায় তাদের মুখ বন্ধ কর। BSB BSB: Bury them together in the dust; imprison them in the grave.
14 ULB তখন কি আমি তোমার বিষয়ে স্বীকার করব যে তোমার নিজের ডান হাত তোমায় রক্ষা করতে পারে? BSB BSB: Then I will confess to you that your own right hand can save you.
15 ULB বহেমোৎকে দেখ, আমি তোমার সঙ্গে তাকেও বানিয়েছি; সে ষাঁড়ের মত ঘাস খায়। BSB BSB: Look at Behemoth, which I made along with you. He feeds on grass like an ox.
16 ULB এখন দেখ, তার কোমরে তার শক্তি; তার পেটের পেশিতে তার শক্তি। BSB BSB: See the strength of his loins and the power in the muscles of his belly.
17 ULB সে দেবদারু গাছের মত তার লেজ নাড়ায়; তার উরুর পেশী একসঙ্গে জোড়া। BSB BSB: His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are tightly knit.
18 ULB তার হাড় পিতলের নলের মত; তার পা লোহার ডান্ডার মত। BSB BSB: His bones are tubes of bronze; his limbs are rods of iron.
19 ULB সে ঈশ্বরের সৃষ্টি সমস্ত জীবজন্তুদের মধ্যে প্রধান। একমাত্র ঈশ্বর, যিনি তাকে বানিয়েছেন, যিনি তাকে হারাতে পারেন। BSB BSB: He is the foremost of God’s works; only his Maker can draw the sword against him.
20 ULB পাহাড়রা তাকে খাবার যোগায়; মাঠের পশুরা তার আশেপাশে খেলা করে। BSB BSB: The hills yield him their produce, while all the beasts of the field play nearby.
21 ULB সে পদ্ম গাছের নলের তলায় শুয়ে থাকে, জলাভূমিতে শুয়ে থাকে। BSB BSB: He lies under the lotus plants, hidden among the reeds of the marsh.
22 ULB পদ্ম গাছ নিজের ছায়ায় তাদের ঢাকে; নদীর গাছ তার চারিদিকে ঘিরে থাকে। BSB BSB: The lotus plants conceal him in their shade; the willows of the brook surround him.
23 ULB দেখ, যদি নদী তার কুলকে ভাষায়, সে ভয় পায় না; সে আত্মবিশ্বাসী, যদিও যর্দন নদীর ঢেউ ছাপিয়ে উঠে তার মুখে পড়ে তবুও সে স্থির থাকে। BSB BSB: Though the river rages, Behemoth is unafraid; he remains secure, though the Jordan surges to his mouth.
24 ULB কেউ কি তাকে বঁড়শি দিয়ে ধরতে পারে অথবা ফাঁদ দিয়ে কে তার নাক ফুঁড়তে পারে? BSB BSB: Can anyone capture him as he looks on, or pierce his nose with a snare?
