2 ULB কিন্তু যে দরজা দিয়ে ঢোকে সে হলো মেষদের পালক। BSB BSB: But the one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 ULB তাকেই পাহারাদার দরজা খুলে দেয় এবং মেষেরা তার আওয়াজ শোনে এবং সে নাম ধরে তার নিজের মেষদেরকে ডাকে ও সে বাইরে নিয়ে যায়। BSB BSB: The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen for his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

7 ULB তখন যীশু আবার তাদেরকে বললেন, সত্য, সত্যই আমি তোমাদেরকে বলছি, আমিই সেই মেষ খোঁয়াড়ের দরজা। BSB BSB: So He said to them again, “Truly, truly, I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.
8 ULB যারা সবাই আমার আগে এসেছিল তারা সবাই চোর ও ডাকাত কিন্তু মেষেরা তাদের আওয়াজ শোনে নি। BSB BSB: All who came before Me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.
9 ULB আমিই সেই দরজা। যদি কেউ আমার মধ্য দিয়ে ঢোকে সে পরিত্রাণ পাবে এবং সে ভিতরে আসবে ও বাইরে যাবে এবং চরে খাবার জায়গা পাবে। BSB BSB: I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture.
10 ULB চোর আসে চুরি, বধ, ও ধ্বংস করবার জন্য। আমি এসেছি যেন তারা জীবন পায় এবং সেই জীবন অধিক পরিমাণে পায়। BSB BSB: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.
12 ULB যে ভাড়া করা চাকর এবং মেষপালক নয়, মেষগুলি যার নিজের নয়, সে নেকড়ে আসতে দেখলে মেষগুলি ফেলে পালায়। এবং নেকড়ে তাদেরকে ধরে নিয়ে যায় ও তাদের ছিন্নভিন্ন করে দেয়। BSB BSB: The hired hand is not the shepherd, and the sheep are not his own. When he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf pounces on them and scatters the flock.
13 ULB সে পালায় কারণ সে একজন কর্মচারী এবং সে মেষদের জন্য চিন্তা করে না। BSB BSB: The man runs away because he is a hired servant and is unconcerned for the sheep.
14 ULB আমিই হলাম উত্তম মেষপালক এবং আমার নিজের সবাইকে আমি চিনি আর আমার নিজের সবাই আমাকে চেনে, BSB BSB: I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me,
15 ULB পিতা আমাকে জানেন এবং আমি পিতাকে জানি; এবং মেষদের জন্য আমি নিজের জীবন উত্সর্গ করি। BSB BSB: just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep.
19 ULB এই সব কথার জন্য যিহুদীদের মধ্যে আবার মতপার্থক্য হল। BSB BSB: Again there was division among the Jews because of Jesus’ message.

23 ULB আর যীশু মন্দিরের শলোমনের বারান্দায় হেঁটে বেড়াচ্ছিলেন। BSB BSB: and Jesus was walking in the temple courts in Solomon’s Colonnade.
24 ULB তখন যিহুদীরা তাঁকে ঘিরে ধরল এবং তাঁকে বলল, আর কত কাল আমাদের প্রাণ অনিশ্চিয়তায় রাখবে। আপনি যদি খ্রীষ্ট হন তবে স্পষ্ট করে আমাদেরকে বলুন। BSB BSB: So the Jews gathered around Him and demanded, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
25 ULB যীশু তাদেরকে উত্তর দিলেন, আমি তোমাদেরকে বলেছি কিন্তু তোমরা বিশ্বাস কর না। আমি যে সব কাজ আমার পিতার নামে করছি, সেই সব আমার সম্পর্কে সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছে। BSB BSB: “I already told you,” Jesus replied, “but you did not believe. The works I do in My Father’s name testify on My behalf.
26 ULB কিন্তু তোমরা বিশ্বাস কর না কারণ তোমরা আমার মেষদের মধ্যে নও। BSB BSB: But because you are not My sheep, you refuse to believe.
28 ULB আমি তাদেরকে অনন্ত জীবন দিই, তারা কখনও বিনষ্ট হবে না এবং কেউ আমার হাত থেকে তাদেরকে কেড়ে নিতে পারবে না। BSB BSB: I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand.
29 ULB আমার পিতা যিনি তাদেরকে আমাকে দিয়েছেন তিনি সবার থেকে মহান এবং কেউ পিতার হাত থেকে কিছুই কেড়ে নিতে পারে না। BSB BSB: My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
31 ULB তখন যিহুদীরা আবার পাথর তুলল তাঁকে মারবার জন্য। BSB BSB: At this, the Jews again picked up stones to stone Him.
32 ULB যীশু তাদের উত্তর দিলেন, "আমি পিতার থেকে তোমাদেরকে অনেক ভালো কাজ দেখিয়েছি, তার কোন কাজগুলির জন্য আমাকে পাথর মারাতে চাইছ? BSB BSB: But Jesus responded, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone Me?”
33 ULB যিহুদীরা তাঁকে উত্তর দিল, কোনো আশ্চর্য্য কাজের জন্য তোমাকে পাথর মারছি না, কিন্তু ঈশ্বরনিন্দার জন্য, কারণ তুমি একজন মানুষ হয়ে নিজেকে ঈশ্বর করে তুলছ। BSB BSB: “We are not stoning You for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, make Yourself out to be God.”
34 ULB যীশু তাদেরকে উত্তর দিয়ে বললেন, তোমাদের নিয়ম কানুনে কি লেখা নেই, “আমি বললাম, তোমরা দেবতা”। BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “Is it not written in your Law: ‘I have said you are gods’?
35 ULB যাদের কাছে ঈশ্বরের বাক্য এসেছিল, তিনি তাদের তো দেবতার মত বলেছিলেন আর পবিত্র শাস্ত্রের কথা বাদ দেওয়া যেতে পারে না BSB BSB: If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and the Scripture cannot be broken—
36 ULB যাকে পিতা পবিত্র করলেন ও পৃথিবীতে পাঠালেন, তোমরা কেন তাঁকে বললে যে, তুমি ঈশ্বরের নিন্দা করছ, কারণ আমি বললাম যে, আমি ঈশ্বরের পুত্র? BSB BSB: then what about the One whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world? How then can you accuse Me of blasphemy for stating that I am the Son of God?
37 ULB যদি আমি আমার পিতার কাজ না করি তবে আমাকে বিশ্বাস কর না। BSB BSB: If I am not doing the works of My Father, then do not believe Me.
38 ULB যদিও আমি এইগুলি করছি, তবু যদি তোমরা আমাকে বিশ্বাস না কর তবে সেই কাজের উপর বিশ্বাস কর; যেন তোমরা জানতে পার ও বুঝতে পার যে পিতা আমার মধ্যে আছেন এবং আমি পিতার মধ্যে আছি। BSB BSB: But if I am doing them, even though you do not believe Me, believe the works themselves, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I am in the Father.”
39 ULB তারা আবার তাঁকে ধরতে চেষ্টা করল, কিন্তু তিনি তাদের এড়িয়ে হাতের বাইরে দূরে চলে গেলেন। BSB BSB: At this, they tried again to seize Him, but He escaped their grasp.
40 ULB যীশু আবার যর্দনের অপর পারে যেখানে যোহন প্রথমে বাপ্তিষ্ম দিতেন সেই জায়গায় চলে গেলেন এবং সেখানে থাকলেন। BSB BSB: Then Jesus went back across the Jordan to the place where John had first been baptizing, and He stayed there.
41 ULB অনেক মানুষ যীশুর কাছে এসেছিল। তারা বলতে লাগলো, যোহন হয়ত কোন আশ্চর্য্য কাজ করেননি কিন্তু এই মানুষটির সম্পর্কে যোহন যে সব কথা বলেছিলেন সে সবই সত্য। BSB BSB: Many came to Him and said, “Although John never performed a sign, everything he said about this man was true.”
42 ULB সেখানে অনেক মানুষ যীশুতে বিশ্বাস করল। BSB BSB: And many in that place believed in Jesus.
