9 ULB তখন যিহোশূয় ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের বললেন, "তোমরা এখানে এস, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য শোন।" BSB BSB: So Joshua told the Israelites, “Come here and listen to the words of the LORD your God.”

11 ULB দেখ, সমস্ত পৃথিবীর প্রভুর নিয়ম-সিন্দুক তোমাদের আগে যর্দনে যাচ্ছে। BSB BSB: Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will go ahead of you into the Jordan.
12 ULB এখন তোমরা ইস্রায়েলের প্রত্যেক বংশ থেকে একজন করে অর্থাৎ বার বংশ থেকে বার জনকে, গ্রহণ কর। BSB BSB: Now choose twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one from each tribe.
13 ULB পরে এইরকম হবে, সমস্ত ভূমণ্ডলের প্রভু সদাপ্রভুর নিয়মসিন্দুক বহনকারী যাজকদের পা যর্দনের জলে ডোবার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে যর্দনের জল, অর্থাৎ উপর থেকে যে জল বয়ে আসছে, তা স্থির হবে এবং এক রাশি হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকবে। BSB BSB: When the feet of the priests who carry the ark of the LORD—the Lord of all the earth—touch down in the waters of the Jordan, its flowing waters will be cut off and will stand up in a heap.”
14 ULB তখন লোকেরা যর্দন পার হবার জন্য নিজেদের তাঁবু থেকে যাত্রা শুরু করল, আর যাজকরা নিয়ম-সিন্দুক বহন করার জন্য লোকদের সামনে গেল। BSB BSB: So when the people broke camp to cross the Jordan, the priests carried the ark of the covenant ahead of them.
15 ULB আর সিন্দুক-বাহকেরা যখন যর্দনের সামনে উপস্থিত হল এবং জলের কাছে সিন্দুক বহনকারী যাজকদের পা জলে ডুবে গেল, প্রকৃতপক্ষে ফসল কাটার সময়ে যর্দনের সমস্ত জল তীরের উপরে থাকে৷ BSB BSB: Now the Jordan overflows its banks throughout the harvest season.
