5 ULB তিনি আমাকে অবরোধ করেছেন এবং আমাকে তিক্ততা ও কঠিন পরিশ্রমের মাধ্যমে ঘিরে রেখেছেন; BSB BSB: He has besieged me and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.
6 ULB তিনি আমাকে অন্ধকার জায়গায় বাস করিয়েছেন, দীর্ঘ দিনের মৃতদের মতো করেছেন। BSB BSB: He has made me dwell in darkness like those dead for ages.
7 ULB তিনি আমার চারিদিকে দেওয়াল তুলে দিয়েছেন, যাতে আমি পালাতে না পারি; তিনি আমার শিকল ভারী করে দিয়েছেন। BSB BSB: He has walled me in so I cannot escape; He has weighed me down with chains.

11 ULB তিনি আমার পথকে অন্য দিকে ঘুরিয়েছেন, তিনি আমাকে টুকরো টুকরো করেছেন এবং আমাকে নিঃসঙ্গ করেছেন। BSB BSB: He forced me off my path and tore me to pieces; He left me without help.
12 ULB তিনি তাঁর ধনুকে টান দিয়েছেন এবং আমাকে তীরের লক্ষ্য হিসাবে চিহ্নিত করেছেন। BSB BSB: He bent His bow and set me as the target for His arrow.

14 ULB আমি আমার সব লোকদের কাছে হাস্যকর ও দিনের পর দিন তাদের উপহারের গানের বিষয় হয়েছি। BSB BSB: I am a laughingstock to all my people; they mock me in song all day long.
15 ULB তিনি তিক্ততায় আমাকে ভরে দিয়েছেন এবং তেতো রস পান করতে বাধ্য করেছেন। BSB BSB: He has filled me with bitterness; He has intoxicated me with wormwood.
16 ULB তিনি কাঁকর দিয়ে আমার দাঁত ভেঙ্গে দিয়েছেন, তিনি আমাকে ছাইয়ের মধ্যে ঠেলে দিয়েছেন। BSB BSB: He has ground my teeth with gravel and trampled me in the dust.
17 ULB তুমি আমার জীবন থেকে শান্তি সরিয়ে নিয়েছ; আনন্দ আমি ভুলে গিয়েছি। BSB BSB: My soul has been deprived of peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is.
18 ULB তাই আমি বললাম, “আমার শক্তি ও সদাপ্রভুতে আমার আশা নষ্ট হয়েছে।” BSB BSB: So I say, “My strength has perished, along with my hope from the LORD.”
19 ULB মনে কর আমার দুঃখ ও আমার বিপথে যাওয়া, তেতো রস এবং বিষ। BSB BSB: Remember my affliction and wandering, the wormwood and the gall.
20 ULB আমি অবশ্যই তা মনে রাখছি এবং আমি নিজের কাছে নত হচ্ছি। BSB BSB: Surely my soul remembers and is humbled within me.
21 ULB কিন্তু আমি আবার মনে করি; তাই আমার আশা আছে। BSB BSB: Yet I call this to mind, and therefore I have hope:
23 ULB প্রতি সকালে সেগুলি নতুন! তোমার বিশ্বস্ততা মহান। BSB BSB: They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!
24 ULB আমার প্রাণ বলে, “সদাপ্রভুই আমার অধিকার,” তাই আমি তাঁর উপর আশা করব। BSB BSB: “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.”
25 ULB সদাপ্রভু তার জন্যই ভালো যে তার অপেক্ষা করে, সেই জীবনের পক্ষে যা তাকে খোঁজে। BSB BSB: The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.
26 ULB সদাপ্রভুর পরিত্রাণের জন্য নীরবে অপেক্ষা করাই ভালো। BSB BSB: It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
27 ULB একজন মানুষের পক্ষে যৌবন কালে যোঁয়ালি বহন করা ভালো। BSB BSB: It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is still young.
28 ULB তাকে একা ও নীরবে বসতে দাও, কারণ সদাপ্রভু তার ওপরে যোঁয়ালি চাপিয়েছেন। BSB BSB: Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it upon him.
29 ULB সে ধূলোতে মুখ দিক, তবে হয়তো আশা হলেও হতে পারে। BSB BSB: Let him bury his face in the dust—perhaps there is still hope.
30 ULB যে তাকে মারছে তার কাছে গাল পেতে দিক। তাকে অপমানে পরিপূর্ণ হতে দাও। BSB BSB: Let him offer his cheek to the one who would strike him; let him be filled with reproach.
31 ULB কারণ প্রভু চিরকালের জন্য তাকে ত্যাগ করবেন না! BSB BSB: For the Lord will not cast us off forever.
32 ULB যদিও দুঃখ দেন, তবুও নিজের মহান দয়া অনুসারে করুণা করবেন। BSB BSB: Even if He causes grief, He will show compassion according to His abundant loving devotion.
33 ULB কারণ তিনি হৃদয়ের সঙ্গে দুঃখ দেন না, মানুষের সন্তানদের শোকার্ত করেন না। BSB BSB: For He does not willingly afflict or grieve the sons of men.
34 ULB লোকে যে পৃথিবীর বন্দীদের সবাইকে পায়ের তলায় পিষে দেয়, BSB BSB: To crush underfoot all the prisoners of the land,
35 ULB সর্বশক্তিমানের সামনে মানুষের প্রতি অন্যায় করে, BSB BSB: to deny a man justice before the Most High,
36 ULB একজন লোক তার অন্যায় চেপে রাখে, তা সদাপ্রভু কি দেখতে পান না? BSB BSB: to subvert a man in his lawsuit—of these the Lord does not approve.
37 ULB প্রভু আদেশ না করলে কার কথা সফল হতে পারে? BSB BSB: Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has ordained it?
38 ULB সর্বশক্তিমানের মুখ থেকে কি বিপদ ও ভালো বিষয় দুইই বের হয় না? BSB BSB: Do not both adversity and good come from the mouth of the Most High?
39 ULB যে কোনো জীবিত লোক তার পাপের শাস্তির জন্য কেমন করে অভিযোগ করতে পারে? BSB BSB: Why should any mortal man complain, in view of his sins?
40 ULB এস, আমরা নিজের নিজের রাস্তা বিচার করি ও পরীক্ষা করি এবং সদাপ্রভুর কাছে ফিরে যাই। BSB BSB: Let us examine and test our ways, and turn back to the LORD.
41 ULB এস, হাতের সঙ্গে হৃদয়কে ও স্বর্গের নিবাসী ঈশ্বরের দিকে হাত উঠাই এবং প্রার্থনা করি: BSB BSB: Let us lift up our hearts and hands to God in heaven:
42 ULB “আমরা তোমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ ও বিদ্রোহ করেছি; তাই তুমি ক্ষমা করনি। BSB BSB: “We have sinned and rebelled; You have not forgiven.”
43 ULB তুমি নিজেকে রাগে ঢেকে আমাদেরকে তাড়না করেছ, হত্যা করেছ, দয়া করনি। BSB BSB: You have covered Yourself in anger and pursued us; You have killed without pity.
44 ULB তুমি নিজেকে মেঘে ঢেকে রেখেছ, তাই কোনো প্রার্থনা তা ভেদ করতে পারেনা। BSB BSB: You have covered Yourself with a cloud that no prayer can pass through.
45 ULB তুমি জাতিদের মধ্যে আমাদেরকে জঞ্জাল ও আবর্জনা করেছ। BSB BSB: You have made us scum and refuse among the nations.
46 ULB আমাদের সব শত্রু আমাদের বিরুদ্ধে উপহাসের সঙ্গে মুখ খুলেছে। BSB BSB: All our enemies open their mouths against us.
47 ULB ভয় ও ফাঁদ, নির্জনতা ও ধ্বংস আমাদের ওপরে এসেছে।” BSB BSB: Panic and pitfall have come upon us—devastation and destruction.
48 ULB আমার লোকের মেয়ের ধ্বংসের জন্য আমার চোখে জলের ধারা বয়ে যাচ্ছে। BSB BSB: Streams of tears flow from my eyes over the destruction of the daughter of my people.
49 ULB আমার চোখে সবসময় জলে বয়ে যাচ্ছে, থামে না, BSB BSB: My eyes overflow unceasingly, without relief,
50 ULB যে পর্যন্ত সদাপ্রভু স্বর্গ থেকে নীচু হয়ে না তাকান। BSB BSB: until the LORD looks down from heaven and sees.
51 ULB আমার শহরের সমস্ত মেয়ের জন্য আমার চোখ আমার জীবনে কঠিন ব্যথা আনে। BSB BSB: My eyes bring grief to my soul because of all the daughters of my city.
52 ULB বিনা কারণে যারা আমার শত্রু, তারা আমাকে পাখির মতো শিকার করেছে। BSB BSB: Without cause my enemies hunted me like a bird.
53 ULB তারা আমার জীবন কুয়োতে ধ্বংস করেছে এবং আমার ওপরে পাথর ছুড়েছে। BSB BSB: They dropped me alive into a pit and cast stones upon me.
54 ULB আমার মাথার ওপর দিয়ে জল বয়ে গেল; আমি বললাম, “আমি ধ্বংস হয়েছি।” BSB BSB: The waters flowed over my head, and I thought I was going to die.
55 ULB হে সদাপ্রভু, আমি নীচের গর্তের ভিতর থেকে তোমার নাম ডেকেছি। BSB BSB: I called on Your name, O LORD, out of the depths of the Pit.
56 ULB তুমি আমার কন্ঠস্বর শুনেছ; যখন আমি বললাম, “আমার সাহায্যের জন্য তোমার কান লুকিয়ে রেখো না।” BSB BSB: You heard my plea: “Do not ignore my cry for relief.”
57 ULB যে দিন আমি তোমাকে ডেকেছি, সেই দিন তুমি আমার কাছে এসেছ এবং আমাকে বলেছ, “ভয় কোরো না।” BSB BSB: You drew near when I called on You; You said, “Do not be afraid.”
58 ULB হে প্রভু, তুমি আমার জীবনের সমস্ত বিবাদগুলি সমাধান করেছ; আমার জীবন মুক্ত করেছ। BSB BSB: You defend my cause, O Lord; You redeem my life.
59 ULB হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি আমার প্রতি করা অত্যাচার দেখেছ, আমার বিচার ন্যায্যভাবে কর। BSB BSB: You have seen, O LORD, the wrong done to me; vindicate my cause!
60 ULB ওদের সব প্রতিশোধ ও আমার বিরুদ্ধে করা সমস্ত পরিকল্পনা তুমি দেখেছ। BSB BSB: You have seen all their malice, all their plots against me.
61 ULB হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি ওদের অবজ্ঞা ও আমার বিরুদ্ধে করা ওদের সকল পরিকল্পনা শুনেছ; BSB BSB: O LORD, You have heard their insults, all their plots against me—
62 ULB যারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়িয়ে বলে এবং তারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে তাদের কথাবার্তা শুনেছ। BSB BSB: the slander and murmuring of my assailants against me all day long.
63 ULB তাদের বসা ও ওঠা দেখ, হে সদাপ্রভু! আমি তাদের বিদ্রুপের গানের বিষয়। BSB BSB: When they sit and when they rise, see how they mock me in song.
64 ULB হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি তাদের হাতের কাজ অনুসারে প্রতিদান তাদেরকে দেবে। BSB BSB: You will pay them back what they deserve, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.
65 ULB তুমি তাদের হৃদয়ে ভয় দেবে, তোমার অভিশাপ তাদের ওপর পড়বে। BSB BSB: Put a veil of anguish over their hearts; may Your curse be upon them!
66 ULB তুমি তাদেরকে রাগে তাড়া করবে এবং সদাপ্রভু স্বর্গের নীচে থেকে তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করবে। BSB BSB: You will pursue them in anger and exterminate them from under Your heavens, O LORD.
