36 ULB সত্যিই যদি তোমার সমস্ত শরীর আলোকিত হয় এবং কোনও অংশ অন্ধকারে পূর্ণ না থাকে, তবে প্রদীপ যেমন নিজের তেজে তোমাকে আলো দান করে, তেমনি তোমার শরীর সম্পূর্ণভাবে আলোকিত হবে।" BSB BSB: So if your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, you will be radiant, as though a lamp were shining on you.”
37 ULB তিনি কথা বলছেন, এমন সময়ে একজন ফরীশী তাঁকে খাওয়ার নিমন্ত্রণ করল, আর তিনি ভিতরে গিয়ে খেতে বসলেন। BSB BSB: As Jesus was speaking, a Pharisee invited Him to dine with him; so He went in and reclined at the table.

For you pay tithes of mint, rue, and every herb, but you disregard justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without neglecting the former.
43 ULB ফরীশীরা, ধিক তোমাদের, কারণ তোমরা সমাজঘরে প্রধান আসন, ও হাটে বাজারে লোকদের শুভেচ্ছা পেতে ভালবাসো। BSB BSB: Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the chief seats in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces.
44 ULB ধিক তোমাদের, কারণ তোমরা এমন গোপন কবরের মতো, যার উপর দিয়ে লোকে না জেনে যাতায়াত করে।" BSB BSB: Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, which men walk over without even noticing.”
45 ULB তখন ব্যবস্থার গুরুদের মধ্য একজন উত্তরে তাঁকে বলল, "হে গুরু, একথা বলে আপনি আমাদেরও অপমান করছেন।" BSB BSB: One of the experts in the law told Him, “Teacher, when You say these things, You insult us as well.”

53 ULB তিনি সেখান থেকে বের হয়ে এলে ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকরা ও ফরীশীরা তাঁকে ভীষণভাবে বিরক্ত করতে, ও নানা বিষয়ে কথা বলবার জন্য প্রশ্ন করতে লাগল, BSB BSB: As Jesus went on from there, the scribes and Pharisees began to oppose Him bitterly and to ply Him with questions about many things,
54 ULB তাঁর মুখের কথার ভুল ধরার জন্য ফাঁদ পেতে রাখল। BSB BSB: waiting to catch Him in something He might say.
